Worse customer service I have ever experienced. Got hung up on multiple times by the guy on the phone while trying to locate a lost item.

Picked us up in south beach for ride to airport. Dispatch was friendly and cab came fast. Good driver, old but clean cab.

This is literally the worst experience of my life. Those bastards told us five minutes...twenty five minutes later they have not shown up, so we called them. they, of course, assured us they would be there in 3 to 5 minutes. thirteen minutes later we call again and they yell at us for 2 minutes...ARE YOU SERIOUS????? read more

Formally my favorite cab company, I live here in sobe and call cabs a lot. Last night I had to call 6 times and was hung up on twice by the dispatcher trying to get a cab. The driver had called to say he was on his way and never showed. The dispatchers have been getting worse the phone rings and rings and they barely let you get out your location before he it hangs up. read more

Terrible service. The dispatcher is always terribly rude. The cars are in poor condition and the drivers are borderline nuts. It's shameful that a city known for its tourism is served by such a company that dominate the taxi industry here. Avoid when possible. read more

Guest staying at the hotel I work at lost their phone. They called it and the cab driver answered. He didn't speak English so the guest gave the phone to my colleague and he demanded to be paid $50 for bringing back the phone. ILLEGAL. Eventually, my manager took the phone and tried for minutes to get him to give us his number and cab number as a guarantee that he will bring the phone back. He refused to. He appeared within 5 minutes (not 20 minutes like he first said because he was "so far"). I decided to contact Central Cab and asked to talk to someone in customer service, the man that answered told me to call back on Monday (it was 4:54pm). This kind of service is EXACTLY why I advise people to take Uber. read more

Worst cab company I have worked with. I work for a Condominium comunity and I call cabs for our residents regularly. We are assigned to call this company (I for sure won't anymore). They are always Late, half the cab drivers barely speak english and can't understand simple directions to our property. They are rude and disrespectful to our residents and myself. Especially if They show up late and I tell them the residents got another cab already. Sorry, not my fault that you have poor managment skills and can't get to customers on time. I live on the beach so i use them on a regular basis usually they're on time but the credit card problem HAS TO STOP! When you call the company they say every cab accepts credit card so i stop informing at the beginning of my ride, last night i hand out my credit card and inform the driver he can add a 2 dollars tip and he didn't want to accept the card and on top op that never turned on the meter!!! He said that i didn't ask at the beginning of the trip.... I DON'T HAVE TOO this is a touristic are and that's why they have not 1 but TWO credit card machines - it sucks that every time if you do get to pay with card you receive dirty looks from them all mad , they hiss and make weird sounds giving you attitude , what is there problem? They don't want to receive that CC payment next week? Too bad i get paid weekly as well , that's life! Oh and they never have change! read more

I took a central cab # 1020 on Dec 19th 2010 night or Dec 20th 2010 morning around 1:45 a.m. to be precise. It was a short ride from Nikki's beach to Loews hotel in miami. And while getting off my husband unfortunately left our canon powershot camera in the cab. We had the cab company and cab number within 5 mins with the help of lowes security and contacted central cab. They tried contacting the cab driver but to no avail. Took our contact number and said will call us back. Never happened. We tried going to their office and guess what response we got. We dont know who was driving the cab at that time. YOU DON'T KNOW! What kind of cab company doesn't know. We tried calling them several times the next day but got the same response - "we don't know who was driving the cab." Every time it sounded like they wanted to get rid of us rather than helping us out. That camera has all the memories of our miami trip. Alas all was lost thanks to the rude cab company and unresponsive people over there. I would make sure I dont take a Central Cab anywhere in the world I am. I got into a Central Cab and told the driver my exact address and that I needed to stop by an ATM right by my home, telling him the exact address of the ATM in Wynwood, at NW 2nd Ave., and NW 22nd Street. As we get close to the ATM, the driver of cab 1515 gets crazy, telling me that there's no way to stop the car at that address, asking me to leave him my phone, which I did. - I return from the ATM and the cab is gone. I walk to my home, use my land line and get a hold of the driver by calling my phone, only to hear that he has taken off, with my phone, accusing me of never having come back, which is untrue. I meet him again at another address near my home, meanwhile hauling a police car. The police officer tells the driver to not charge extra, extra, and even more extra money, and I finally get my phone back. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. - IT'S THE WORST IN MAIMI!!!
