Stopped here on the way to Grattan Raceway for the weekend. My 1st time, bf's 2nd…read more I adore a nice market and this one did not disappoint! Much more than a market, it has amazing amenities- all community centered, which should serve as a model for other cities. Meeting spaces for learning around healthy eating (with kitchens & demo islands!,), a beautiful greenhouse where weddings and conferences take place, ample sheltered outdoor seating & a great variety of top notch vendiors. One could shop for staples, sit down or take away meals, and a few home decor/kitchen items as well. I spent $$ I wasn't intending to on teas and a fabulous vinegar & am NOT SORRY ! Great Indian food for lunch and I took a few nice BIG samosas to go for later. Grand Rapids residents are lucky to have this place and visitors should not miss it!

I was completely blown away by this amazing downtown market. I have never seen anything like this!…read moreI have a feeling Car town in Ann Arbor is trying to replicate this, but Grand Rapids really has it down. If I worked down here, I would be in here every day, trying all the different world cuisines. This is a high-end market with various cuisines from around the world at a moderate price range. From the trendy greenhouse meeting spaces to the vibe of music I really enjoyed coming here with my family!! I can't wait to come back and try more food here. It was just amazing. I love that you can walk steps between different cuisines and trial whole different cultures food. It looked to me like the workers were serving authentic cultural food, which makes me want to support Local even more!! this is such a diamond in downtown Grand Rapids!

I wouldn't normally write a review for a big box store but The Rack is different. The Rack is…read morespecial. It's about a million steps up in style from the other guys in the value store playing field and has great prices for the brands they offer. Example: I paid $62.00 for a pair of J Brand jeans. Although higher than what I usually pay, this is an extremely good deal by J Brand standards. And I can't tell you how many times I've gotten complements on other Rack outfits. I'm a size 10 in shoes and usually it's all the left over, ugo shoes in my size. Not so at The Rack. They actually cater to larger size feet. I have to restrain myself from buying 3 pairs of shoes at a time 'cause they have so many cute styles. In addition to clothes and shoes, they have a good, rotating selection of workout clothes, coats, and jewelry. They organize by styles, prices, colors, and seasons so you can find what you want. To make it convenient for shoppers, they have little check out stations around the store. If you are paying with a credit card they will just swipe it at one of these stations so you don't have to wait in the longer line. Spoiler alert: not everything in Nordstrom Rack was actually carried in the real Nordstrom. I read that somewhere and was somewhat disappointed. However, much of it is, or else the brands themselves are carried in the Big Brother store and the Rack gets some of the off items/colors from those same brands.

Not denying anyone service? That's a load of malarkey. For those who are UNABLE to wear a mask, you…read morecertainly are refusing service. If one orders online and has to return an item, how is that item handled based on the fact that one was unlikely wearing a mask at home while trying it on? Do parasites or communicable diseases not count at home?, and what if a client had covid? You'd never know so how absolutely ridiculous your statement is. And 'extending this expectation to clients' again is a load of malarkey. That's a roundabout way of communism at play. 'Do it our way or you will be denied service' Perhaps you should review CDC recommendations again. Heir Fauci has stated from his own mouth that masks do nothing but placate the wearer. Ummm, yeah. Anyone who has a lick of common sense can figure this was a scam. Too bad for you Nordstrom Rack, you've lost a bunch of customers because of your politically correct/woke policies. I find it very telling that your stores, at least the last two I saw, were low in stock of most items. The stores seemed bare. Maybe it's a sign that the silent majority is done with your BS
