Just as a warning to others, there is a mandatory nonsense pain class required for pain patients, a weekly class in the afternoons. I don't know how they can possibly convince people who work to attend those ridiculous classes. For instance, and I still have the handouts to prove this, the entire point of one class was to teach us about neuroplasticity, by doing exercises such as padding our heads and rubbing our tummies, and then changing the direction of the rub. This would supposedly reprogram our brains so that our pain would be better. It's a ludicrous money grab and I really think that they should not be charging insurance for those classes. I think they advertise it is complementary, but we all know that hours of professionals' time is not free. Additionally, although I was forgetting about that, having not been there since Dr Stearns unfortunately passed away, I called to inquire about how long they were booking out for ablation treatments, since this is what I normally received, after the initial appointment. The receptionist couldn't answer the question, and told me that I would need to speak with christina, and she could tell me, and I quote, what the average time to schedule a procedure is. I had waited 10 minutes on hold to speak with the receptionist, and then when he transferred me to christina, it was another 7 minutes, at which point the receptionist returned and said Christina would not be able to answer the question. When I was there before, I felt it was obvious that the office staff was poorly trained and unprofessional, and this on top of everything else made me decide to cancel my appointment. Dr. Gobi and Jennifer Kiser are remarkable. As a terminal cancer patient, pain has been my most problematic symptom. That was until the Center for Pain and Supportive Care took over my pain management. I underwent surgery to have a Medtronic Pain Pump placed in my abdomen. it has changed my quality of life ten fold. I can go out and enjoy time with friends and family. I can cook and help around the house. I can take my daughter to lunch. None of these things possible without the care I have received. Best part, I don't have to feel loopy from the endless amount of pain pills I was taking previously. Thank You Jennifer, Dr. Gobi...you are directly responsible for my pain free existential and I am forever grateful. read more

They say what they think they're supposed to say but their actions do not match the words. It's definitely a top down problem I'm not sure if it starts with the owner but I know that the Office Manager does not care about patients and does exactly the same things as the staff that were in my complaint, like not responding until 5 minutes before they close, telling me they understand that I'm upset about how long things are taking (not what I was upset about) and then making them take longer, what should have been resolved in about 2 days max took 7. I still do not have the previously mentioned prescription and when I asked for help in getting this signed document to the insurance I did not receive a response. Essentially I'm just too exhausted to get another specialist right now so I'm going to put up with this for now as I'm an established patient. read more

I have been a patient at this clinic for many years. I came originally to see Dr Lisa Stearns for arthritis pain in several joints. Unfortunately, Dr Stearns passed away due to an accident and her Associate Dr Gobi and other associates took over my care. They did many tests, pain relieving procedures and treatments along with pain medicines to give me relief. For me, it was the difference between being able to walk and not walk. They are very careful and ethical with the use or narcotics, but use them if necessary to get relief while continuing to help with injections, procedures, nerve blocks, pain pumps and all kinds of helpful strategies to make life more bearable. I have been a patient here since 2014 after moving from WA state. My Medtronic Rep (pain pump ) told me to see Dr. Sterns when I moved down here to AZ as she was the #1 pain pump implant specialist in the world. Boy was I impressed with that tidbit of knowledge. I could write a very lengthy review but I will try to shorten it up. Dr. Sterns not only lead the way in pain pump implants but she actually taught a lot of the Drs. over here at the Mayo Clinic. I highly recommend Dr. Gobi ‍ and Jennifer ‍ as well as the rest of the staff at the center for pain and supportive care . I have 5 compression fractures from radiation therapy and damage to my lumbar region. When I first met Dr Gobi, I was in so much pain I could barely walk ‍ and it was also causing me to go into afib . I couldn't do anything at home, not even take out the trash. I'm difficult to treat because I'm allergic to most pain medications . Dr. Gobi patiently tried different therapies and meds until he was able to manage my pain . There was a huge difference when they installed a pain pump. I have been a CPSC patient over three years. I have always been treated with compassion and respect and have never been disappointed by my care nor the level of clinical competence. Although the medical staff was wonderful, the office staff was not responsive to my needs. I requested the procedure scheduler to call me multiple times with no response. The voicemail of this individual was always full, forcing me to drive to the office to personally request a phone call. It took my delivering a personal letter to the doctor before I received a call. I am a Vetern. The VA sent me to this clinic. I requested, again multiple times, copies of my medical records. I still have not received them. They were 1st requested 20+ days ago since this writing. I was a patient at this clinic for over 6 years. Initially I was very pleased with my treatment and was prescribed medications which allowed me in time to return to work for a period of time. In the beginning of my treatment I was relatively pain free, my pain level was greatly reduced and I was content to tolerate not getting my phone calls returned and some other non-professional attitude from some of the staff. Please, don't misunderstand me, I was cared for by some very wonderful staff members and the PA Jennifer K. was always totally competent, kind and very caring and I had a good relationship with her. Dr. Stearns is one of the brightest doctors I have come across in the 20 plus years in dealing with chronic pain due to accidents, injuries on the job, cancer, arthritis and generally just a hard life. As time went by it seemed that "The Clinic" became more interested in finding other ways to deal with pain other then medication. I'm all for learning ways to deal with chronic pain without the us of narcotics but lets face it, at a certain point you cross the line where a hot shower and relaxing music will not help. One of the changes that occurred was the start of group sessions, somewhat like group therapy with Dr. Stearns doing a 10-15 lecture on many different topics. Many times her talks would get a bit too technical for me. I really just needed the basics, rest, relaxation, and what do I do when the pain gets so bad you want to scream. I began to see this as just another way to bill the insurance company because lets face it, at a certain point it's always about the money. Over all I was treated well, yes, the front desk are not professional and that's ok. But when you have an issue and you can't reach anyone on the phone, you leave messages and no one calls back at all and after several calls someone returns your call 2-5 days later ! Let me give you a quick update, I'm in West Palm Beach now having much trouble because I was given records ( which the pain doctor here found insufficient) by Dr. Stearns clinic. The doctor ( Stearns) was told 2 months before my move that I would need my records and I would greatly appreciate a note from her to help in a smooth transition here. Well, what happened was I had to call and almost beg to get my "records" and of course I had to pay for them but up until 2 days before leaving for Florida I still had not gotten the records and Dr. Stearns did not even have a cover letter of introduction to my new doctor. At this point I have called several times to help smooth things over and to get some assistance from a clinic which treated me for over six years. Jodi who is a very kind and good person has not returned my calls, not sure it's her fault because their phone system really sucks. It's been in need of change for a very long time. Fortunately my primary doctor here in Fl. has covered me for a month so I'm not in full withdrawal but I need to still get better records from Stearns, as the doctors here will be contacting them if they can get through by phone. I've called for 3 days to get the fax number, of couse no one picked up or has returned my calls !! I do want to clarify some things. Overall the doctors are good, Stearns is very gifted but the system is broken and they are so afraid of having any legal problems that the patients medications are being reduced to the point where they are no longer beneficial. I hope I am not burning any bridges by writing this because I still may need to get more of my medical history from them but up to this point I have not gotten a reply. read more

4 ER visits at Banner, provided temporary opioids. Very effective. Only 4 times allowed. They wanted my pain doc to help me. Laws to strict in severe circumstances. There is no transition available from medical marijuana to opioids in emergency. Even in hospital stay for 9-10/10 non-chronic pain they will not provide. Center for Pain can apparently work in that gray area but. They said opioids will not work. False. They said I need nerve meds. But gaba and lyrica don't work. I only needed help for a couple of months for severe and advanced RARE case of TBRF with horrifyingly painful infection. 483 cases reported 1990-2011. They know nothing a mind assume they are ALWAYS RIGHT. Wrong. Christian gets trashed again. They DO NOT TREAT PATIENTS. Move away from AZ while you can if you are old. Worst rating possible. No compassion. Horrible outcome to my last hope. read more

My provider, Nurse Practitioner Janis Reinmuth, has shown constant support and genuine care for me as a patient and as a friend. Janis has given me hope and inspiration, and has helped me learn how to reasonably manage some very tough and challenging chronic pain issues. Janis has always shown me sincere compassion and remarkable patience. My fiancé was unfortunately "treated" by Dr. Stearns. Without going into a long, drawn out story-she does not like anyone questioning her, , nothing. No one explained what he could expect & when it basically went south, no one did and to this day gives a damn. He is in horrid pain & has been for going on 2 months since said procedure, was supposed to have post surgical meds, which were never done. When he took more of his pain management prescribed by her meds, one of the staff said he was violating the pain contract, then Dr. Superior said they expected him to do that. So I came here for pain obviously, never been here and was a little worried when I read the reviews. I am not going to lie it is difficult getting an appointment so you need to have all your records sent over before even attempting to schedule an appointment. I didn't find the front desk so friendly or welcoming... and I guess I wasn't prepared to feel like I'm on probation either when I was handed a cup and my belongings were locked up, but I totally understand with it being a pain clinic I've never been to one so I really didn't know what to expect. My appointment was long or my wait was I should say but they go through all the paperwork do the drug testing etc prior to being pulled back. Once I got to the back the MA was nice, Dr Dais is so nice and friendly and took time to listen to me and my concerns she made me feel so much better knowing a diagnosis and understanding where I was coming from. She has a super sweet dog that was in attendance as well. read more

This is in reference specifically to Dr. Lisa Joe Stearns just prior to the opening of The Center for Pain and Supportive Care. Dr. Lisa Joe Stearns treatment of my mother was so terrible that I feel I should have filed a formal complaint with the Arizona Medical Board. My mother was not a good candidate for an invasive pump procedure for many reasons which should have been obvious to Dr. Stearns. My mother was an organ transplant recipient on immunosupressants with extensive abdominal scarring and discomfort. Her condition was delicate, and very complicated. Within the first few hours after Dr. Stearns implanted the pain pump, my mother had a seizure, which Stearns insisted the pump had nothing to do with. The seizures continued, and at the first follow up appt fluid had to be drained from the site of the pump. Stearns was unbelievably rude and rough. When my mother winced in pain as the fluid was being drained out with a huge syringe, Stearns snipped at her to sit still. When we told Stearns about the seizures, she rudely snapped that those seizures aren't her fault, and that my mother must have done something to cause the swelling. We told her we wanted the pump removed as soon as possible. My mother was then given anti seizure medication which she reacted very badly to. Very badly. I am aware that Dr. Stearns has recently died, but that is no reason to pretend that she was not a deeply flawed doctor who caused many people more grief and harm than good. read more

Before I start this review I just want to say that as a surgeon Dr. Stearns is amazing. She just has no bedside manner whatsoever.... very aggressive and intense. I Love Dr. Dais! She is awesome, as well as Olivia, and Marie in scheduling. I also like the front desk staff. They're friendly. My review has nothing to do with them.... I have never been treated with more disrespect by a physician in my entire life. The day before the surgery, I expressed my concerns and also explained how scared I was regarding the spinal surgery. I have chronic pain and hypersensitivity. She told me to breathe through my stomach and I won't have pain because I think about it and I have pain, whereas if I breathe through my stomach, I won't have pain because I won't think about it. As she was leaving the room she told me that I was in good hands, not in a nice calm reassuring way, but in a cocky superior way. Not warm/friendly. I have been weaned down from a very very high dose of Fetanyl to a very low-dose within a month. I am also having withdrawl from being weaned off the meds. The day of my surgery the anesthesiologist was not able to get an IV started the first two times. Like I said I have hypersensitivity so she had to use lidocaine to start an IV so I wouldn't feel pain. I was crying so hard because it was hurting and Dr. Stearns comes in and starts yelling at me because I was crying from the pain. She yelled, "I don't see your hand on your stomach, you need to start breathing through your stomach"!!! Nice bedside manner! The next time I saw her was when I was about to get on the table for surgery. I was crying from the pain, stress, and worry of the surgery. Was also kinda scared of her. It seems that I had every right to be. Once again she was yelling at me because I was crying and then I wasn't breathing through my stomach. She told me to get on the table my stomach and I was about to when she ripped my gown off aggressively. In the process she pulled out my oxygen from my nose, and because of how my arm was sitting, nearly ripped out my IV. I screamed in pain and even the anesthesiologist looked at her and said hey watch it! She then began to pull me onto the table, my body exposed, I tried to cover as best I could while getting on top of a bunch of pillows, where my stomach would be. The pillows began to slide in different directions and she told me to do a push-up. I can barely hold a fork, let alone a hold myself up. I did the best I could and she kept screaming at me to lift myself up, which of course I couldn't. I also have chronic abdominal pain and have had a few surgeries. Everyone began to lift me, not from my hips and chest, but my stomach. They were so not gentle, they put their fingers and finger nails into my stomach instead of their palms or forearms. I screamed so loudly and started crying so hard. Once again I was yelled at to breathe through my stomach. Yah, my stomach was hurting way to much to breathe through, and I was also lying on top of it. I will cry if I damn well please! The next thing I know, I am being woken up in Post-op A. I was lying there for a few minutes very groggy, and in an insane amount of pain. I'm lying there crying, and in comes Dr. Stearns. She starts yelling at me for crying from the pain and yelled at me to keep breathing through my stomach and that she didn't see my hand my stomach that I need to start breathing through my stomach. After that I don't remember anything, I fell back asleep. When I woke up again, I was in post-op B. The nurse told me that surgery went well. I asked for my husband. Then I asked for the doctors. The nurse said that they were in another surgery. I didn't get to ask them any postop questions at all. She gave me a discharge papers and like belongings and sent me home. I called the doctors office to ask for my pain medication. They said that I was supposed to have some, yet wasn't given it. I was furious I was told that I wasn't going to be in the hospital for pain management because they didn't want me to get any infections or get sick while I was recovering, so I would be at home with extra pain meds to keep me comfortable. This didn't happen. Stearns said to take the clonidine which is for withdrawal, and double up on my patch. I told them that I'd run out of my meds by doing this before my next appointment. They just said sorry. I got sick anyways and had no pain relief. read more

I have been going to this center for a couple of years now and I have never had a problem with my appointments or wait times. I love Dr. Dais and the staff have always been friendly and helpful. I do agree the chairs could be better in the wait room for people with back issues but they have throw pillows that help. I have never met Dr. Stern and from what I have read I don't think I want to. Dr. Dais is the bomb! I have recommended this place to a few people and nobody has had any issues with them either. read more

I gave it a 1 star only because the actual care providers are good. As long as you don't have an endless supply of money and don't ask for an explanation of how your payments are credited, your good. There are a high number of staff turnover in their billing department and there statements are not like a normal statement. They also attack you before an appointment if they believe there is an issue. Dr. Stearns cares more about the money she can make, than about the needs of the patients. Complete quack! Botched 2 surgeries, implanted the wrong device, woke me up during surgery to try and ask my opinion about what she screwed up and what she should do about it. When I had Barrows replace with the correct device DR Stearns tried to fire me as a future pain management patient but didn't have the professionalism to do it herself. I came to Dr. Stearns after an almost six-week nightmare experience while in Barrow's Neurological Institute at St. Joseph Hospital in Phoenix, AZ. The doctors in Barrows all had excellent bedside manners and extremely kind. BUT, they didn't solve my issues and in fact caused addition pain offering only a "wait-and-see" option while scratching their heads, ultimately leading nowhere and leaving me in chronic pain. I agree with some of the negative comments regarding the staff in the front office. They could learn a thing or two about compassion and empathy. Those in pain, especially chronic pain, don't need a cold shoulder when coming in to see their doctor. Coordination and communication between doctor and patient is sometimes hampered by the lack of process and systems in the "front of the house". Because she is THE leader in her field, getting an appointment will require some patience and time. She is in high demand. She is without a doubt the busiest doctor I've ever had. You might have to wait for her, but she will never short you of the time needed to thoroughly understand and strategize how to give you the best care possible. It is known that Dr. Stearns has implanted more spinal cord stimulators and drug pumps than anyone in the world which are the appropriate therapies for my condition. THANKFULLY, she is not the typical "needle jockey" "pill pushing" pain management doctor. Her approach is to treat the body and mind, making sure you have the support you need to minimize pain's impact on your life. Her practice is very interactive with the patient through the use of her excellent biweekly "support group" meetings where you learn a great deal of how to minimize pain's effect on your life. In each session, Dr. Stearns gives a brief lecture on some important aspect of pain, after which she or her nurse practitioner will one-on-one review your meds, goals and any issues you might have. The "support group/follow-up" concept is her brain-child and addresses every aspect of your life that your pain might touch. Dr. Stearns does live up to her name in that she is stern if you do not actively participate and take responsibility for your part in your recovery/pain management. While she is very direct yet she is also extremely caring. In my mind, bedside manner is far less important than having a doctor/surgeon that knows what they are doing and can bring me back to a healthy state. As long as the doctor can deliver the best and most effective care, that should weigh heaviest in your ultimate evaluation of any doctor. That being said, I have bumped heads with Dr. Stearns on a couple occasions, but at the end of any conversation or interaction we ended on a positive note and hugging each other. The end result is I am much healthier and stronger than before I first met her. Soon I will no longer be on disability and will be returning to work as soon as I gain my strength and stamina back. It would be no exaggeration to say that I owe my ability to live a full life to Dr. Stearns. I have no problem recommending her to anyone. If you want the best final results, she is the real deal, and a rock star in the world of pain management. read more

I have never posted on Yelp before, but I feel it my responsibility to comment on Dr. Stearns and her staff, given the last several posts, including a patient who had never even seen her. I have no skin in the game-I'm just a typical paraplegic devastated by a spinal cord injury 6 years ago. I suffer from intractable chronic pain every day and night. I wish I could report that Dr. Stearns, or any other doctor cured me, but that's not how it works with patients with my diagnosis. What I will say is that you will never find a doctor who will keep trying and will go the extra mile like Dr. Stearns and her staff. She does not confine herself to just prescribing the standard medications, and is completely open to other treatments, including those considered holistic and "Eastern" in approach. I moved to Phoenix last year, just as my father was diagnosed with terminal pancreatic cancer. Given that this is a most painful way to die, Dr. Stearns implanted a pain pump in him. It just took two more months for my father to pass away, but he did not die in pain because she successfully managed the meds in the pump. He was able to live his final moments in dignity. Being a patient of Dr. Stearns, enables one to be at the forefront of treatment worldwide. She speaks internationally at conferences, including her own. These are attended by the finest doctors who confer and advise on their patient's conditions. If Dr. Stearns knows of a neurosurgeon in France who might be able to help you, she will readily let you know. I have met several of these doctors on regular office visits, who spend a week or longer at her office to enhance their own practice. Dr. Stearns's medical assistants and back office are great people, who really care. Unfortunately, I am one that is able to judge, as I have to go to several specialists a month to treat other aspects of my condition. As for those who feel otherwise, or are considering seeing Dr. Stearns, I invite you to contact me-I had to retire after my accident, so I have plenty of time to share my opinions and thoughts with you. read more

I was recommended to see Dr Stearns by the head of Interventional Radiology and while I have a very rare disease, both her and her new nurse practitioner have given me hope that one day I will get some relief. We discussed many things and had a clear review of all my past surgeries and diagnosis. I now have some hope of getting some quality of life back so I can keep raising my son who turned 8 today. I used the CPSC for more than 3 years until I was discharged by Dr. Foxx a few months ago. My experience at this practice was just OK, and certainly did not reflect the glowing descriptions you will find in CPSC's website and the responses that they have written for the poor reviews here on yelp. Just because Dr. Stearns has implanted more pain pumps than "anyone else in the world" (really?) doesn't make her your best choice of pain management practitioners, unless a pain pump is what you need. Her pain interventions are successful for many people, as some of them were for me; they primarily involve pharmaceuticals, various injection procedures, the aforementioned pumps, and referral to a yoga practitioner sharing her office space. Dr. Stearns also flatly rejects some other treatments that are medically accepted, legal, safe, and non-addictive, so be careful with the information you share with her if you choose to use any complementary therapy that she does not control. My issues with this practice are mostly a scheduling problem. Wait times are the worst I have ever experienced at any physician's office. I was seen primarily by a Nurse Practitioner, occasionally by one of the other physicians, and twice by a Physician Assistant. Wait time for the NP and PA were shorter, but I could plan on at least 30 minutes past my appt time; rarely was it less than that, and commonly up to an hour. I had 4-5 appts with Dr. Stearns over the 3 years or so, and those were always at least an hour, and up to 2.5 hours late. I never worried about being late to my appt, actually I usually planned to be late as the delays in this practice were so consistent. If you have a chronic, long-term pain problem, you will probably have monthly, possibly more frequent appts, so this really adds up over time. DO NOT use this practice if you are easily frustrated by waiting room time. There was a lot of turnover in the front office staff, but I had no problems with appts gone missing as others mentioned; billing services were flawless. The Medical Assistants (not nurses, people) in the back were friendly and competent. The one procedure I had done there, a facet joint injection that did not turn out to be helpful at all, was uneventful and relatively painless. These are only done at the Glendale office, about a 35 mile one way trip for me. I did enjoy a good relationship with a Nurse Practitioner there for about 2 years, and was sad to see her leave the practice. As I saw Dr. Foxx just once, I can't really comment on her expertise. read more

Waited an hour after my appointment time to be seen, and the provider didn't even apologize for making me wait. Very annoying especially after being told to arrive half an hour prior to the appointment time, so I ended up waiting an hour and a half after arriving to see a provider. Front desk staff were very rude. Didn't explain anything to me, just handed me some papers and a urine sample cup. Didn't tell me where the restroom was or why I was doing a urine test and acted very annoyed when I asked questions. I did not want any opioid or narcotic medications, but did the drug screen anyway. I attempted to make an appointment with Dr. Stearns but was instead assigned an appointment with the nurse practitioner, Janis. Overall, I was very disappointed with my visit. The NP had a very abrasive personality, making uncomfortable jokes about how I don't want to end up like the rest of the patients sitting out in the waiting room and suggesting my problem "really isn't that bad." She then began recommending all these natural creams and essential oils to treat my symptoms, which is absolutely not the reason I paid a copay to see a medical professional. She also prescribed medications and suggested injections. I was then informed that I would be called to set up the injection appointment, which would be performed by one of the physicians who I hadn't even met. After examining me, she again joked that my pain must not be that bad due to the fact that I didn't say ouch to her poking and prodding. I was very disappointed with this office and with the NP. If you want to be taken seriously and be treated by someone who places their faith in actual medicine and not herbal supplements, you should find another office. read more

This clinic is the worst possible place you can go for pain management! I went here for ~ 9 years until I discovered that Dr. Stearns had replaced the medication in my infusion pump with Bupivacaine, without my knowledge or consent. Jennifer Kiser continued this fraudulent practice from 2012 until 2015 when I left the practice. When it came time to replace the Medtronic infusion pump they implanted a pump that had been declared a Class One recall by the FDA. The pump shouldn't have even been available. I had a payment arrangement with their billing dept., since 2012, at $50/month. Payments were sent automatically by my bank; not one payment was posted to my account in all of that time. In 2015 Dr. Stearns was paid ~ $500,000.00, by Medtronic, for "research." All attempts to obtain the research materials from Medtronic have been denied or frustrated in some other manner. They cold-heartedly refer to patients with pain pumps as "pump refills" and patients are not permitted to ask questions during their pump refills, which is only done on Thursdays, rather, they are required to make a new appt to address any questions or problems. They better not have anything that is urgent because it will have to wait until a new appt can be scheduled. Dr. Stearns and Jennifer Kiser are deceitful and DO NOT give a damn about their patients. read more

I also have been a patient of this clinic for 10+ years for degenerative spine disease. After multiple back surgeries and being told that mental rods running to T8-S1 was the only option I had left, I decided to have a pain pump implanted. The first pump last about 5 years, I am now on the second pump. This first one was an experimental pump being tested for FDA approval. The second one is a Medtronic pump, much bigger and not a favorable as the first one. It was also place in a different location and is not as comfortable. Although working o.k. I too started to get disillusioned with the treatment by the doctor and some of the staff. I am now seeing Dr. Gobi after Dr. Stearn's unfortunate accident that took her life and I am happy with Dr. Gobi. I may change doctors only because of the distance to get there now and my fear down the road that Dr. Gobi may decide to leave. For individuals who have never had to deal with a pump, a good doctor patient relationship is an absolute. You have a foreign object implanted in your body and you have to rely on your doctor more than normal and trust them absolutely. A bad relationship in any part of that relationship, office staff, practice procedures, anything is not tolerable. read more

Dr. Lisa Stearns, and Jennifer Kiser PA are both the most competent, and caring medical professionals I have ever dealt with. I was diagnosed with MS over 20 years ago. My first symptom was pain, and it continues to be the greatest challenge of my life. Dr. Stearns has tried many different things to try and help me live with it. I cannot understand why those people who are giving such horrible reviews had trouble with CPSC. All you have to do is make an appointment with Dr. Stearns and TA-DA!! You get to see Dr. Stearns. The same with Jennifer Kiser PA. Yes, the waiting times are sometimes long, but that is because they actually spend TIME with you. It's not the 8.5 min that other doctors spend with each patient. If you cant wait for the BEST pain Dr. to work with you instead of just write your scripts. If you are getting a lot of random drug tests, it is only because your pill counts are not on or you are asking for more than is appropriate. Follow the rules, and life for everyone, including the Dr. who writes your scripts is under a magnifying glass for the number of narcotics she prescribes, and could lose her licensure in a heartbeat, and STILL tries to help and do what she can. I'm sorry for those that did not have a good experience, it always seems like those that don't have the perfect experience scream the loudest. I am here to Say, at the top of my voice that DR. Worst experience I've had in over 15 years dealing with chronic pain management. If yr insurance allows you to go somewhere else do it. I'm going one more time to get my prescription then I'm getting a new referral!!!! Horrible 3.5 hours for my first appointment couldn't get a word in past the lady typing my info. Got my med records 1 month b4 my apt and she still didn't read them until that visit. Unprofessional, judgmental, and completely unprepared never felt like I was being seen by a new provider that has over 20 yrs experience!!! Horrible horrible horrible read more
