It's a barber shop much like the tens of thousands all over the country. You sit in the chair, tell them what you want and hope you don't emerge looking like a defective hedgerow. Donna is simply the best barber in the area!…read more I had long looked for a good barber in the Clinton/Flemington area, and I tried them all. Most were OK, a couple were good, but Donna was GREAT! She quickly understood the kind of haircut I wanted and did it just right from day one. Besides asking how I wanted each part of my haircut done, I much appreciated the options and ideas she would offer as we went. The end result was that she turned the haircut I asked for into the haircut I truly wanted. She just "gets" how to cut men's hair. And beards! I was also delighted to find that she was very experienced and skilled with trimming beards. Just like my haircut, she "gets" how to trim my beard to make it look its best. On top of getting a great haircut/beard trim, Donna is delightful and I also enjoy look forward to our visits. If you are reading this review then trust me - you have found your barber! I cannot recommend Donna highly enough!

Highly highly recommend!!…read more Been there about a dozen times and I absolutely LOVE this place. Hot towel shaves are ON POINT and while Vin is my barber, Pete the owner is a hell of a barber and it's easy to see his standards are shared and upheld by his staff. You walk in and you're greeted by vintage barbershop decor, which I dig a lot and no matter what they all stop to say hello and they're always quick to ask if you need a bottle of water or an espresso. I can say pretty confidently that you probably didn't get Fuji or espresso back in the 30's & '40s lol so I'd call it an old school feel with a modern spin. It's not trying to be something it isn't and it's a great addition to our community. Highly highly recommend!!
