I came with my dog. Awesome place, has outhouses instead of permanent restrooms. There are three large pavilions with concrete picnic tables and benches. The largest pavilion near the entrance has electric outlets so you can plug something in, plus it is nice and sturdy, good place to hide from the rain. There are also three BBQ pits here for a cookout. Nice place.Boat Ramp Open 24 hours. FYI ALLIGATORS ARE IN THE AREA, THERE ARE NO SIGNS POSTED, BUT THERE ARE ALLIGATORS, SNAKES,AND BULL SHARKS IN MOBILE BAY. Also, Mobile Bay is very shallow, no diving recommended.

Because it is right in the middle of a very large neighborhood a lot of people just walked to the dog park. But there are parking lots at either end. The dog park is just a big fenced-off Square except for the fact that they brought the fence line in and around the two big trees that should be inside the dog park. But on both sides they literally took the fence line in about 10-12 ft and then back out so that the tree was on the outside of the dog park? Because trees are scary to dogs like that? There is a very nice water feature and a poop bag dispenser and trash can. There's also a very nice light post right in the middle of a dog park as well as a couple benches for you to sit on. But other than that there's nothing but wide open space for your puppy to run and enjoy itself

Two parking lots, one by dog park, one by football & baseball field. FYI THIS PARK IS DIRECTLY NEXT TO MAGNOLIA CEMETERY, WHICH EXPLAINS WHY IT IS SO QUIET & SECLUDED. That is the only negative thing I can say about the park, the Cemetary, but other then that this park is fantastic.

This park has a very small beach, but if you want a larger beach, just walk north to the park on the other side of The Fairhope Municipal Pier, that is Fairhope Municipal Beach, that park has BBQ's near picnic tables, restrooms,and a playground on the beach. This park has benches and tables, trees, a rock area under a oak tree. This park is two levels, an upper and lower, I did not see the upper level, only the bottom level closer to the water. My dog really enjoyed it, I saw other people out very early, walking, exercising, & with their doggies. This is a very clean park, no vagrancy, litter, doggy doo anywhere. Parking is right next to South Beach Park at Fairhope Municipal Pier.

We have been wanting to try flying Creek nature preserve for sometime and decided to do it today. There's plenty of shade and while it's hot, it was very nice walking through the woods. Our dog enjoyed the walk also. Her nose was working overtime with all the new smells in the area. The trails are well-maintained and there are bathrooms along one of the trails as well as a very nice pavilion. The trails reminded me of our time in Huntsville in the hiking. We did up there. I highly recommend flying creek nature preserve for a very nice walk in the woods.

However, be careful as the roots from the pines run across the trails and if you are not careful you could fall. This is a nice park to bird watch or for the young ones to find creatures. I never knew this existed until today and have lived in Baldwin County all my life.

You can visit this park and the other three in a single day because these parks are right next to one another. This park is on a hill, and one part of the park is a small Long Leaf Pine Forest, the other part a park with a memorial, veterans fountain, and benches atop a hill overlooking Mobile Bay. I did see one or two cars parked along the park for free, and I did not see any no parking signs, but I think most people that visit either park at Fairhope Municipal Pier or at Fairhope Municipal Beach at the bottom of the hill. There are no restrooms or playground (s) at this park, it is more devoted to nature, but restrooms, BBQs, and picnic tables are available downhill at Fairhope Municipal Beach. Most of the people I saw at or around the park were walking for exercise or walking thier dogs, like myself. Quiet and beautiful.
