Hello Mr. Mobley my name is Jeffery Burbank. I am an Air Force Veteran of eleven and a half years and a current Air Force Contractor. My wife and I started looking at Mercedes cars at numerous dealerships, including Mobile and Pensacola. I attempted to buy one at the Pensacola office however, due to inventory constraints along with dealer trades, there were a lot of unknowns in attempting to buy from Pensacola. We ended up finding the car we liked and wanted, so drove all the way to Dallas Texas, which is about a ten-hour drive from my current location in East Milton Florida. We bought our car at Park Place Mercedes in Dallas and had a wonderful experience there. We love our new Mercedes, as we are first-time owners. My salesman, Victor Noble, who's been absolutely amazing to me and my family, sent me a copy of the Florida registration form requiring VIN and Miles verification form. He informed me that I just needed to take it to the nearest Mercedes dealership and have them fill out the necessary information. I took the form to Mercedes of Pensacola and the General Sales Manager Robert McDonald brought the form back to me and said the following...."So you decided not to buy a car from us" I then replied yes sir that is correct you all did not have what I wanted, so I bought from another dealer, and I am sorry. He then replied..."And so now you want us to fill out your paperwork" turned and walked away repeating...."Classic, just Classic"!!! Now initially, I kept my mouth shut. Then, a salesman walked up to me with the paperwork and said sorry, we cannot fill this out for you tag office has to and then walked away. Then a sales manager walked up to me and said "Sir, did they get that taken care of for you"? I replied no you all did not and I do not understand what the issue is. The paper is just to verify the VIN and Mileage on the car and this form is coming from Mercedes. He shrugged his shoulders and said did this come directly from Mercedes or the dealership. I said I'm not 100 percent sure, but I do believe this is coming from Mercedes. I then proceeded to let him know how so disrespected I felt by everyone at the dealership with whom I came into contact. It all started with the salesman not approaching me when I walked in as he was the only one in the office sitting at his computer eating crackers. I had to walk into his office to get his attention. He sat there still eating his crackers looked at my form and said you will have to wait for one of the managers to come in. Ok fine. I saw the sales manager and he took the form please have a seat we're about to have a meeting we'll fill this out after our meeting!! He and another salesman are the only ones in this office, and I arrived around 830 am!!! Now I had some very choice words after Mr. McDonald said what he said to me!! I expressed my feelings in a very loud and rude manner, I will admit, but I have never in my life been felt and treated with so much disrespect from not buying a car at a particular dealership than I have at Mercedes of Pensacola. One would think that the GSM would have apologized for or attempted to lure me in the next time to buy a Mercedes, but he failed to do that. I have posted comments on the google review page along with Facebook talking about my experience with this dealership. When I think of Mercedes, the first word that comes to my mind is....CLASS!! That GSM and everyone at that dealership I had that day had none of it. Mr. Noble from Dallas even called and spoke with Mr. McDonald and informed him that he should call me and apologize. I was informed that it sounded like he will not be calling me anytime soon. I hope we can come to some sort of solution Mr Dougherty, as no one should be treated this way by not buying a car from a dealership. Again I have taken my frustrations to all social media platforms that myself and my wife have to express the disrespect that I received. Thank you for your time, and I hope the email finds you doing well sir. read more
