I have been going here since 2005 when I only had my CFI and now I am a Captain at a major airline. Not only are the sims WAY, WAY, WAY cheaper than renting an aircraft, it's convenient...no actual icing or other weather to worry about which we know is a problem when trying to get actual instrument time here in Denver. Sure... we need real flight time but sharpening your instrument skill here makes your real time in the airplane safer and more efficient. Lisa runs the place and is always helpful...She and her simulators were instrumental in my success in acquiring my first regional airline position. I even kept practicing in her sims before, during and after training practicing approaches and call outs and profiles. I still have some block time standing by for me to hop in and shoot a couple of approaches to keep up on my scan when ever I want because the block time you buy never expires. I have always bought a blocks of time, It comes at a huge discount that way and it not only saves money but Lisa's experience and knowledge is huge. Lisa can guide you or she has instructors that are available or you can bring in your own instructor. So in the long run it'll save you a lot of money. Not to mention, other flight schools are not as organized and will take much much much longer to get the required ratings. ATP has newer planes, young instructors, very structured curriculum, and its all about safety. Many in the corporate office (I've heard) are pilots themselves so they know the difficulties of the education and their number one priority is safety and getting you through school as fast as possible without rushing your training. I have recommended this school to everyone from my high school days that are interested in aviation because everyone here simply is trying to help you succeed.
