    Went to get battery replacement and now my screen is black. Didn't tell me only noticed after I left.

    uBreakiFix really blew me away with their integrity and commitment to customer satisfaction!…read more The story takes some telling to get there, though. I originally had a mixed-to-negative experience with a worker at uBreakiFix that involved my MacBook Pro and two inadequate keyboard and battery replacements. A third replacement keyboard was never ordered despite multiple statements to the contrary, and then I was ghosted, apparently intentionally. It left my laptop functional but with an odd keyboard, a knocking rattle when jostled, and a slightly misaligned touchpad that clicked strangely in one place (all new issues). It was already an older laptop and I didn't want to make a mountain out of a molehill, so I was fully prepared to live with the keyboard and the other minor issues. I was pretty disappointed, though. Then my laptop started having (unrelated) display problems a couple months later, and I thought long and hard about going back. In the end I decided to give them another chance, so long as I was dealing with a new technician. I'm glad I did! Apparently the previous employee had been let go due to a pattern of behavior (my impression), and the other staff were unaware that my issue had never been completely fixed to my satisfaction. I have to give credit to the manager and the lead tech. They wanted to make it right, so they not only replaced the keyboard again, but they also replaced the display (twice; the first replacement had an issue) and overnighted all the parts--at no charge to me. They were also really good about communicating the ongoing status of the repair. Now my laptop feels brand new. They may have lost money on this repair, but I'll be recommending them to anyone who could use their services from now on. It's rare to see this kind of focus on customer satisfaction these days.

    Took in an I phone and had a battery replaced. Worked for three days. After getting home noticed…read moreback side of the phone had what looked like extra glue on the out side back and didn't think much of it, figured it would ware off. But the next day I noticed that the back glass of the phone was coming off. Went back to the store and after they looked at the phone was told that the battery was overcharged causing battery to swell. I didn't understand this because we didn't change a thing. Same charger and same charging line we always use. They wanted to charge me for another battery. Said we over charged the phone. Would not admit it could have been a defective battery. I did check the brick for voltage, right at 5 volts. Don't trust this place. Will not go back.

    I wanted to pick Up and pay for an iPad I had a new screen…read moreput on. I waited while there were two customers ahead of me. Three techs came out from the back.... Not one of them would wait on me. I was told to wait till it was my turn. A women came in with a phone.. a clerk came out from the back to help her immediately. I was still waiting for 30 minutes.. I just had to leave the store. They can keep my repaired item, This store has no idea how to properly wait on customers . And take care of customers who are waiting patently. A customer should not have to wait to pick up an item and pay an invoice. And a walk in should not be taken over a customer seated for 3o minutes.
