PLEASE NOTE: This review is STRICTLY on the service I received at the Maple Grove Verizon Wireless…read morelocation so let's start from the beginning: We went to a local retailer that was able to upgrade my Verizon iPhone 6S. The service at this store was GREAT, but we ran into a hiccup when their POS system asked for a Verizon Pin OR Password. I provided the PASSWORD, tried it multiple times, and eventually, we got locked out of our account. We called Verizon's help center and they have THE WORST SERVICE because they don't provide SERVICE. They provide you with a scripted answer, and when you ask them questions that require them to go off script, they will just keep repeating the same answer. It got to the point where we were told that our account is locked for 24 hours and to just go into a Verizon store location. We walked into the Maple Grove Verizon location completely disgruntled after trying to get something other than a scripted answer from the help line for the past 1.5 hours and WOW! We were at the store on 11/3 at about 6pm and thank goodness GEORGE was there to help us. He listened to our troubles, explained that the PASSWORD doesn't work when upgrading at another retailed so we needed a PIN, something no one in our plan knew or was able to find and the help line did not explain to us. George was amazing and was able to find a solution for us within MINUTES - the underlying issue being that we never had a PIN to begin with because they only started implementing weeks ago....Something the Help Line SHOULD have explained to us before we spent 1.5 hours on the phone with them. tl;dr : George at the Verizon Wireless store in Maple Grove was AMAZING to work with!

Now I know what you are thinking, I didn't have a choice of locations. I did. Three years ago for a different phone, they took care of me. With that said, I am happy to say this was my second satisfied experience. This location is north of HYW494 in a court of shops, businesses, and restaurants on Lyndale Avenue. My phone is complicated, so normally these questions are asked. Did you drop your phone? No. Was it dropped in a liquid? No. Was there anything you did to break your phone? No. It was simple, my screen cracked about 1 inch from the bottom of the fold of the phone. After filing my claim and taking it to be fixed, the uBreakiFix team confirmed the status of my phone and said this would be taken care of. I know this was a long-winded story to make sure John and Christian (uBreakiFix experts) are taken care of. Because of them, my experience was spectacular. They were kind, patient, thorough, experienced, etc. Also, they sent me a personal text with the status of my phone and when it was fixed. When I arrived to pick up my phone, they were happy to see me and explained what they did to fix my screen. I know this sounds unreal. Why would they show so much care? I don't know. I challenge you to find out. See if they treat you as well as they treated me. Thanks, John and Christian! This is for uBreakiFix leadership, please replicate their kindness and professionalism.

The charger worked a TINY bit (like sometimes, if I had it positioned just right it would charge at the rate of about 10% per hour, but also just would stop charging randomly when it hadn't been touched. I called to see about the return policy which is apparently exchange only. They say this was posted but I certainly wasn't too that and there are so many posters and signs all over it doesn't surprise me that I missed it. When I called to find out what my options were the guy just kept telling me to come in and if it was damaged they would give me a new one, I said I wasn't sure I wanted to go through the bother of coming back (it's not that near me) in order to get another one that would probably be faulty too. He hung up on me. I do realize that they likely get scammed by people trying to return things and cheat them somehow, but I was very disappointed at every step of the experience. Just burn your cash in a bin, or go somewhere else and good luck!

Great service and Scott and Ryan are FANTASTIC!! Scott is super willing to explain any repairs needed and any repairs they recommend. Never put money into something that you don't know why. Scott is super helpful with this. I do have IT knowledge and all that they were recommending was right on track. It's so hard to find honest repair places it feels like. I have worked with these people for years and they are my go to. The inside of their store is clean and smells good. It is wheelchair accessible, has seating, TV, and drinks. They also sell computers and those are pretty well priced too and pretty new which come with a 90 day warranty. I have bought a (few) laptops from them and they are flawless. Older business laptops so they have the nicer features and faster performance with great build quality. All around great place and I highly recommend. Btw, something else I saw in a review about this place regarding them "paying for 5-Star reviews with store credit": They offer you 10 dollars of in store credit for accessories if you would leave a review based on how your experience was. That, at least for me, has been the experience every time. They don't ask for 5-Stars but rather reviews so they (and other people) can know how they are doing. Just thought I would address that because saying they are paying for 5-star reviews is false.
