The second screen was delayed via shipping and I would have been out a phone for over a week. He did lend me a phone until then which was nice, but still very inconvenient because I had none of my stuff on there (contacts, photos, apps). Upon receiving the phone with the new screen, the next day I noticed the color of the screen when outside would get all inverted, but neon. Photos attached. I believe this was an installation issue rather than a screen issue. It only happens when I'm outside, with a colder temperature change. When I explained this to him, he said that there was "no warranty" despite paying $200. And that the only step offered was to send the screen back to the manufacturer, which would take 7-10 business days - once again leaving me without a phone. Also, if the screen broke when they took it off, I would be out of luck. So why would I risk that? He also insinuated I dropped the phone for that to happen, which was kind of insulting, especially reporting the issue within 24 hours? I am now stuck with a screen that does not work, and a useless phone. I wish I would have just kept my shattered screen because at least I could actually use the phone. One inconvenience after another and while I understand a lot of this was out of his control, it still does not negate my very negative experience here. I now have to upgrade and get a new phone. I am beyond upset.

Surprisingly, Ron told me that I could either wait or come back in 30 minutes because he could fix it on the spot. I chose to come back and within 1/2 hour, my iPhone was repaired and just like new. Ron and his wife provide excellent customer service, prompt repair and are humble people who made what otherwise was not a fun situation into a great consumer experience. I thank him for the call. January 17th 2pm - I call to check on the status. He states the part is still not in and that he would call and it should be ready by Monday. January 18th - 11am - My wife goes into the store and he asks if we have insurance on the phone. He states the phone is getting hot when on the charger. My wife asks if he would explain what the problem is and insults her that she wouldn't understand. He needs more time. January 19th - no calls January 20th - I go in to see whats going on. I ask for the status of the phone and after looking for about 5 minutes, he finds it. He asks if I have insurance on the phone. I tell him "Why would I bring it to you if I had insurane"? I tell him to put the phone back the way it was. We are unable to check the phone because the battery is dead. I take the battery back home to charge it (he has no spare batteries?). January 21st. We take the battery back to check on the phone. Of course, the doesn't work now. I tell him to put the phone back the way it was when we dropped it off. January 22nd - The phone is given back and back to square one with one little hiccup. The glass screen is put back unevenly. He advertises he is the only certified repair person in town. Looking at his credentials at the store, the only certification I saw was from Nokia (such a popular phone these days) and one crumpled up certification from the Fiji Islands.

I needed my old phone to be switched to the service. That being said, I was able to find the location of my stolen phone.
