If you like to be off the beaten track, then you certainly can't go wrong with the Cellar Peking, as the name suggests it's underground, open fairly late and the staff on my visit were friendly enough (and remembered my dinner companion on their return).
Maybe it's because I tend to eat in restaurants after long days at work, and being rushed about with travelling, but during my meal the Cellar Peking was quiet, relaxed, comfortable, reasonably priced and the food was definitely tasty enough.
Also there is a public car park a short walk away which in the late evening/night handily costs nothing.
I will certainly be returning when I am in the area again. read more
