Always walked past it but never gone in, always looked busy, and rightly so, For a decent price you get choice of the whole menu and as much of it as you can. Only rule is always clear you're plate! Otherwise theres a good selection of dishes, crispy duck is included, the staff are friendly and ready to explain about any of the dishes. They serve good drinks at reasonable prices and don't hurry you with any part of you're meal, and keep asking if you want more. Very nice and would definitely go back!

Since it is between the KFC and a tattoo parlour, and generally in an area full of chain restaurants I have walked past this place without much of a glance. Luckily a friend recommended it to me when I said I hand't found a good Chinese place in this city yet. We went for the all-you-can-eat dinner buffet and everything was good with some standout items like the crispy shredded beef and the chicken wings. It was reasonably busy for a Tuesday when we were there but service was attentive enough for us to order everything we wanted and then some. Definitely coming back soon.

Everything you order from the menu is freshly made when you order it, its not out for grabs on plates and portables hobs like most other places due when there is a buffet. The variety of food at the restaurant is very impressive considering its location, and the food never fails to impress. The waiters and waitresses are all very nice and pleasant and make you feel comfortable and relaxed. Perhaps the only downside of the restaurant is that its neighbour is KFC

Staff are friendly and helpful, food is good. I ordered an udon combination seafood and a ramen chicken soups , the broths tasted like an authentic Chinese version, very unique and delicious. The price range from 12 to 15 pounds a bowl, plus 10% service charge on your bill ( like a add on tips) , so you don't have to worry about the tip wise. The restaurant has a light touch of Chinese decoration , and also a nice acoustic sound of instrument music. Highly recommended for the tourists when ever they visit the town or go on MSC cruise .

We even received a christmas card off them last year! The prices are cheap and they usually offer some meal deal menus with freebies, and stamps when you've had six to get a free meal! Only fault is you don't get free prawn crackers with your order, unlike every other chinese in shirley. I've never faulted the taste of the food either, always what it is supposed to be and tastes great. Highly recommended

Chinese wise i remember there being - Steamed rice, fried rice, chow mein, sweet and sour chicken, beef in black bean sauce, pekinf duck, another main dish, spring rolls, prawn toasts, prawn crackers and a few other bits. Indian - Pilau rice, onion bahji, pakoras, naan bread, korma, tikka, another hotter curry, popadoms and then salad. The only downside to this is the expensive price which was around £17.00. I know it is a mixed buffet but for southampton this is a bit high. However i think this will go down as there were not many people in there. Drinks were also not cheap. Worth a go if you have the cash tho!
