Where do I start? Purchased a screen replacement from these guys which from a price standpoint rivaled Apple warranty screens but for speed and hassle I just went with this place as they had offered me the less expensive version which was around $150+. I got it home and noticed the phone was typing in a bunch of extra stuff/babble when I'd attempt to type letters and not reacting to my finger properly and was all over the place, causing me to always have to delete stuff. I did bring it back and the worker actually has the audacity to argue that he had told me it was the "cheaper" model. He had also acknowledged when asked in small talk if they just buy these cheaply from China and flip them for a bunch of money, almost gloating. Why would you even sell a cheaper screen that you know isn't going to work properly to a customer with zero disclaimer it will have a bunch of issues? So then I invest another about $180 to get the more expensive screen which again, now combined price with what I already paid. This total cost now rivals the Apple warranty screen cost I could have gotten at Best Buy, if not more expensive.. I felt so ripped off and my phone was all out of whack as prior to buying this the associate recommended I do a "factory reset" on my phone which for one didn't fix anything and then eliminated a ton of my pre sets. This was done experimentally on HIS recommendation to see if that fixed the issue regarding the junk screen he had sold me. Anyway, a couple months go by with seemingly no issues and then suddenly, the more expensive screen I had boughten randomly started showing all these lines and discoloration and wasn't even cracked or busted. I take it back as when I looked into it troubleshooting on the Internet this is usually caused by wiring becoming loose or disconnected which I conclude was most likely the result of the associate's quick job in applying the replacement screen, but again this is just my opinion/possible conclusion. A newer associate tells me that he normally gives a two month warranty if I have a receipt, however, I had tossed that receipt a while ago as the screen appeared to be working fine. After proving to him that I had purchased the service by showing him my online bank statement via my phone and him looking and acknowledging the business name on the statement was from the booth, he then proceeds to tell me that he won't work on it unless I pay him. Funny how I was told it essentially would have a warranty with a receipt yet magically dollar signs appear when I prove I purchased the service! Unbelievable! Long story short, I didn't spend any more f-ing money there. Told him I planned to write a review regarding my experience and possibly dispute the charge with my bank. He didn't even seem to give two sh**ts, he was more fixated on MORE MONEY. I walked away and took my phone to my provider in the same mall for trade in, and luckily they agreed to take it as is. This Cellairis place wasted hundreds of dollars for me. Which makes me wonder, would the money the associate was seeking to have ended up being pocketed then being he said I'd basically be under this recent purchase warranty with a receipt? I don't know who owns this place but they need to be aware of who they're hiring if these associates are doing a piss poor job/charging when they shouldn't be. Total greed and no pride in the shi**y service and junk they sell (in my opinion). BEWARE, My recommendation: go elsewhere for repairs! And not somewhere like this that'll void your Apple warranty leaving a error message on your phone that the screen couldn't be authenticated! Not worth the little you think you'll save initially! Don't even bother! Grade F. read more
