I had my cracked screen replaced by them during the shutdown. I had to drive it to their home in weehawkin. They said it'd be done in 24 hours but it took 4 days and lots of excuses to get it back. 6 weeks later the screen began to fail. Another shop told me I should be able to get a new one on warranty. These guys told me to bring it to the mall so they could see the screen. The first visit, the guy said he was just filling in but gave me grief that the price I had paid ($240) was too low. He said to come back tomorrow when the owner would be there. The next day it was a kid and he said that the owner was off on weekends and that the guy in weehawkin did not work for them (even though he answered their phone and said he worked for them). Then he said he wouldn't cover the screen repair because I must have dropped it. The screen is pristine. They refused to budge. Do not use these scoundrels! I came by last week to get my iPhone 5S screen fixed and was BEYOND disappointed with the service... well, more like lack of service. A few days before my sister came by to get a quote for me, so when I showed up I was told $25 more than I was originally told. Ridiculous!! My sister had to come down from her job to talk to them and remind them what they originally had said. So I leave my phone and was told "30 minutes" - great, no problem it was 5:30 so I figured I'll just walk around to kill some time. I came by at 6:15 and the guy who was supposed to be working on my phone goes, "Ohh yeah, I'm not done can you give me 20 mins" umm WHAT?! Soo, you really mean that you needed an hour. I come back 25 minutes later and he sees me walking up and had the audacity to grab my phone that HE STILL HADNT STARTED WORKING ON and pretend like he was!! I would have not been upset if I was told the truth, can't work on it, need more time.. Etc. To add to the bs service he attempted to give me my phone back with a piece missing!!! Are you kidding?! The worst repair shop ever. I left them my phone to charge a battery which should have taken 1hr. When I came back to pick it up the guy told he broke my screen. It took him another 6 days to get a screen for my phone and replace it. Once all was done, I realized they made bunch of scratches and indents when they were opening my phone. To my complains about that he answered that it was a normal practice when they open phones. This is unacceptable and they should be informing customer of such issues before they agree to provide service. When it comes to battery life, I did not notice any improvements and am not even sure if they changed it. I should have asked to give me back my old battery, but who knew... On top of that within a week the screen cracked in the corner (it has never happened to me before) despite the fact that I never dropped my phone. Long story short, very rude guys work there, and other negative reviews seem to be spot on. Avoid this place at all cost. read more

Do NOT go here to repair a screen for your iPhone 7. I went here because I needed a quick screen repair for my iPhone 7 and didn't want to make the trip and wait in line at the Apple Store. Big regrets. He charged me $50 more than the Apple Store charges for a screen replacement, and it took him slightly over 2 hours of work to get the screen replaced. He did brief tests to ensure the touch screen was working, but I had to leave for an appointment I'd already pushed back twice because of the huge delay. However, it only took a few days for things to start becoming obvious. My phone has a lot of touch screen issues now, especially when it's plugged in. Some examples: Randomly opening and closing apps. Phantom clicks on the screen while browsing. Random scrolling. One of the more bothersome ones: when trying to use GPS while driving, it randomly changes addresses, zooms in and out, closes the app, covers the map with app settings and details, etc. In order to get it to work, I'd have to pull over about every 15-20 minutes to press down on my screen and squeeze the edges of my phone to get the touch screen to behave again. A serious waste of time and money, and now I have to go the Apple store and pay even more to have it repaired by people who know what they're doing. read more

Had phone fixed in June for a cracked screen. Was impressed by how friendly they were and how they emphasized their warranty and guarantee. Now, the screen is separating from the phone and I can barely use it. It's only been three months. Took it back to the same stand with my receipt and they refused to honor it. First they gave me some BS excuse that, Cellairis in June was owned by a different parent and so they couldn't honor my repair. Then when I showed the receipt (which HAS no warranty policy written on it) they refused to honor it and wouldn't fix my phone. Eff them, don't go there. Do NOT go here.. I got my phone screen fixed late Nov 2015 and about a month and half later the sides at the top started to come off. I kept my original receipt but the rep told me that they don't accept the 90 day warranty even though it says it on the receipt. The guy who fixed my phone even told me they had a lifetime warranty.. Which was obviously a lie! These guys told me I had to pay another $120 to get my phone fixed. wouldn't even let me speak to the manager.. They're rude and are not friendly. Dont waste your time... If you need your screen fixed go straight to the Apple Store! On top of that.. I called Cellairis customer service and could not get a hold of anyone. Worst experience ever, guy pretended that he had fixed our ipad screen for 180$, took it home, didn't work again so we took it back the other day. He became really agressive and attacked me I would lie and I would have destroyed the ipad myself. He screwed another person's iphone while we waited, she only wanted the screen to be changed but he wasn't able to close the phone again. Long story short, he didn't fix ours, 180$ gone. Had the screen on my iPhone 6 repaired there 2 weeks ago. I immediately purchased the glass screen protector and put it on. I dropped the phone ONCE yesterday and the screen (not the protector) cracked. I went back there today and I was told it was not covered under warranty and I should have had a better cell phone case. I have a hard case and what that has to do with the screen is beyond me! The original glass on my phone never cracked for over a year. Worst service ever. You are better off throwing your money in the trash. I had a small crack on the bottom corner of my iPhone which was barely noticeable while watching movies, but it annoyed me so I took it to this guys. They charged me $85 to fix. the brightness is so bad that one cannot even use during the day. I took it back and the same guy was a royal ^!@#. he asked me for recipe which I presented than told me that brightness is not an issue. that since use after market parts I should know that things like that would never be the same. He said he would not help me because there is nothing he could do. I asked him if he gave me those disclaimers and he said he didn't have to. That I was expected to know. DO NOT go to this people. I originally cracked my iPhone 5 screen back in September and got it fixed here for $90. Reasonable obviously, but as of right now, my phone screen is coming off of it's base and giving me problems now . Called the place and told them that it my screen was coming off. The owners said "we'll fix it for free". I get to the place and these 2 idiots keep looking at each other like I'm speaking Chinese. He called the owner that I talked to, and he said that the phone screen was broken, not just the screen coming off. With this I said, "I want it fixed for free as you stated on the phone yesterday". He responds, "We can't do that, we can offer you a discounted price of $90." I couldn't help but laugh, this guy really can't be that serious. Walked away right there. Anyways, morale of the story is, if you want to be fooled by some con-artists that will fuck your phone screen up, go to cellairis in Newport Mall!
