The colors were off and looked terrible, and it had a chin at the bottom. I went back and paid $250 for a proper oled iPhone screen. I was happy with it. I even went back to him weeks later for a screen protector. Everything looked and worked great for 3 months until it didn't. The screen started to glitch when I set it to full brightness then it started to flash and glitch with any movement. Finally my screen just failed. An ideal place would at least have a 90-day warranty or at least try to fix it, especially for a returning customer. He definitely recognized me because I was there 3 times within the past 3 months. Who would want to come back 3 times anyways? He had no intention whatsoever to help me. I asked if he could just check on the screen but he didn't bother answering any questions or concerns. Instead he was rude and I, the customer, had to ask "So how can we fix this?" He wanted $250 AGAIN to make me pay for a new screen. Why would I do that if the first one completely failed? Fool me once. Tuh! He just lost a loyal customer and I cannot recommend this place. You will feel regretful. Just go to the Apple Store so you won't lose out on your money.

The second time, he replaced the glass again (free of charge) and now the problem is even worse - the screen has several air bubbles and is frequently unresponsive & still turns off randomly, usually when I am working with a client and need to show images. It is also a lot darker than it should be (even at the highest brightness setting). JUST BE AWARE: that it might ruin your ipad/iphone irreperably. At your own risk.

He gave his candid opinion on whether it was worth replacing the circuit board in the worst-case scenario, and as it turned out it was a less complicated repair and they adjusted the price accordingly. They could've easily taken advantage of the situation since I had already agreed to pay for the bigger job, but didn't. They also got my phone fixed earlier than promised. It's so rare and refreshing these days to see someone provide an honest service and overdeliver on their promise. I highly recommend them.

I had chosen these guys based on their location, wouldn't have chosen them otherwise (plenty of alternatives in the area). Had already bought the Yelp deal and headed to the fulton street address when I found out they were closed. This was a bit frustrating and I then had to ask a friend who works in midtown to drop the phone in for me. They did a good job though! It looks great and cost $65.
