Chances are if you are taking your phone to get a repair, you really don't want to spend a lot of money, or you would just got and buy another phone (that is warranted for a year on a two-year contract). Not to mention breaking my contract, I would have to spend a lot more money, when overall I am pretty satisfied with my Samsung 6 edge. After doing some research, it appeared I needed a new battery or my charging port was broken (which usually can't be fixed). I would plug my phone in but it would not charge a lot. So I thought I needed a new battery on my phone. When I called, I spoke to Ricky and he seemed pretty cool over the phone so I drove about a half hour to drop my phone off. He called me after an hour or so told me it was the charging port. Ugh...I was ready to go over and pay for a battery that I really didn't need. To my surprise, Ricky did not charge me for the time, he spent, and so I went to Fry's to buy a wireless charger. Yes, I should have gone to Fry's in the first place, because I could have returned it if it was the battery. My bad, I admit it. The point is, this place is solid. They are honest, and if you want to support small businesses that employ great people and aren't chasing you don't to sell you something you need. This is the place. I truly hope you don't ever have to take your equipment here, but if you have the need. This is the place to take your equipment to. Yay!! 1) if you make an appointment you save $10 score!! 2) tiny place, but has a huge table inside, and they let you work while you wait on their WiFi! Score! 3) it took 30 minutes and they only charge $10 for a tempered glass add on! Score! 4) customer service is kickass and chill. Score again!! 4 scores= 4 stars They lost a star for me because my screen had an issue and a cockeyed tempered glass put on, however, I came back and they fixed it all in under 15 minutes! The product was "fixed" by soldering the charge port again and a week later the same problem consisted. I demanded a refund, but the manager refused. Employees slack here all the time as well, I noticed them playing video games on the clock. I walked in and there was music too loud for my comfort. Found them on Craigslist, and was happy to see they were right on MacArthur, close to where I live in "downtown" Las Colinas. I walked in, showed the guy my cracked screen, and explained a few other issues I was having. He was like, "Eh...1/2 hour, $65". A little shocking to analyze and assess so quickly, but I figured hey, he knows the business, I don't. And if he screws up, I'll let them know immediately. Well sure enough, in only 20 minutes, boom. Done. Phone looked brand, spanking new. And he upsold me with some type of glass guard (not pushy at all), that displaces the shock, should it hit the ground...and discounted me on it, as well! Even invoiced me without line items, so my company would just pay the total sum, not question me on the guard. As I said, no frills, no games, to the point, and tremendous service with low prices.
