Monarch veterinary Hospital certainly met the mark! While I was out of town, my dog got quite sick so as soon as I got back into town, I called and they fit me in right away. Being so close, my dog, and I walked to the appointment. The office is brand new and really cute! I love the murals in the room! Everyone was friendly, the nurses and the doctor and office staff, everyone was top-notch. The pricing was very reasonable for everything, the exam, a probiotic, an antibiotic, and something to help with his diarrhea. I am really happy to have such an excellent choice so close, we will certainly be taking our fur babies there from now on!

Really upset about my experience with Prosper Trail…read more I just moved to the area recently so I have been trying to find a veteran for my cat. She is 14 years old and has hyperthyroidism, so she is very skinny and frail. Because of her condition and age our previous veteran (back home) refused to give my cat her up to date rabies vaccine. There was concern that getting the vaccine in her current state would give her other more serious side effects. My cat is an indoor cat, never been outside, never around other pets and at this point is very old. Prosper Trail refused to see my cat and treat her because she wasn't up to date on her rabies vaccine. I don't understand how a place that should have an animals best interest in mind would refuse to see her when her potentially being at risk getting the vaccine is out of mine and my cat's control. She desperately needed to be looked at because of her condition and other serious health issues such as finding blood in her stool. I don't understand why the focus was on trying to give her a vaccine and not helping her. I am very sad about my experience here.

He takes my words into consideration. As he should have because I know my pet best. He sat down on the floor with me and my kitty and he truly cared about her health and my sanity. We have a plan! Although we don't know what is going on we actually have a plan and this plan was discussed with me as I was a human being and not a dollar sign. Left her in their care until this evening and we will discuss her future health and what is to come. Thank God for this hospital! They gave me compassion, patience, and understanding. They recently moved to a beautiful new facility, and their service has only gotten better, if that's even possible (It was pretty darn amazing before the move). It's incredibly easy to get appointments, and you never feel rushed. When it was time to put our older dog to rest, Dr. J.M. Stalling provided such compassionate care, truly treating our pet like a valued, very-loved family member - as she was to us. He explained every detail, gave us options, and allowed us all the time we needed to say goodbye before, during & after the process. All of the vets here treat your pets with the same importance as human patients. Their follow-through is stellar, with doctors personally calling after hours to check on test results and health issues. I will never go anywhere else as long as I have pets & live within 30 minutes of the location! P.S. I was compelled to leave a review because I am surprised by some of the negative comments posted here. I have only ever witnessed the staff being kind and respectful to clients/patients & co-workers. Also, it's unfortunate, but it seems some people dealing with the stress of a pet who is ill or the heartbreak of a pet loss may be misdirecting their emotions towards the practice.
