At the time, I had done most of the work and just needed some priming in a few small areas, and two coats of paint and that's it. They sold me as if I needed the total package - prep, touch-ups, priming, painting. I found a great other painter that was literally half the price. I gave them 5-star because the guy that came out was nice, and gave their reputation a boost, but at the end of the day, I didn't need full-service. I needed DONE. They should have priced it as-such. Now, their follow-up system won't leave me alone even though the job has been done for a while.

From the start of first contact, Randi was super responsive and quick to mobilize onsite to start. He was physically onsite and underway with work in less than a week from the time we first found him on Yelp. We had Randi paint our existing "cherry red" wood window trim, door frames/casing, baseboard, fireplace mantel, the stair side skirts and stair banisters in SW pure white. There was a very large quantity (in LF) and the masking/prep was just a bit of a task. He sanded, primed twice (sanding between) and then spayed two coats of the paint ... The end result and final product was a very high quality plus Randi was way ahead of schedule. Throughout the process, Randi was extremely communicative with status updates multiple times per day and was always quick to respond to texts whenever we sent over a quick question or confirmation. I would highly recommend Randi and his team at Color and Tone Painting to anyone looking for a strong and affordable residential painter. We plan to engage with Randi for future paint projects!
