He responded quickly to texts and had us complete a thoughtful questionnaire about our wine preferences and even our music tastes so he could tailor the experience to us. Communication was outstanding. He called the day before to confirm everything and even offered to contact a winery we wanted to visit when he couldn't personally take us there, just to let them know we were coming. That level of service really stood out. On the day of our tour, David arrived right on time. His vehicle was immaculate, with cold water waiting for us, and he was friendly, professional, and incredibly knowledgeable. Every winery he selected was exactly the type we were hoping to discover. She led us to a covered table on the patio and told us that she would be back with a few things. When Margie came back, she had wine glasses, a water carafe, a pack of crackers and some water glasses. What a cute little set up on the patio we had! As we tried each wine on the tasting list, Margie explained to us all about it and then her personal reasons for enjoying that varietal. I think it made the tasting that much more special! Our tasting lasted a little bit over an hour, Margie always knowing the perfect time to give us our next wine pour! They have an onsite kitchen and is a very popular spot for wine and lunches. They are dog friendly on the patio only. You get to taste about 8 wines for $30 Or fee is waived with a purchase of any two bottles. Tasting did not disappoint from their whites to red. They have a variety for all taste buds. I loved all their Cabs. They have a mix of 100% Cab to some with Merlot and Cab Franc. All were delish and as I was tasting I kept thinking of food items these would pair well with. Of course we purchased half a case variety of red wines. Venue is super clean, great vibe and super friendly staff. Darcy and Alex were both amazing. We will definitely be going back here when in the area.

I like bold, flavorful wine, and they have that in spades. I thought I hated Merlot, for being generally weak, but Terra Blanca's Merlot is fantastic. I thought I only liked red wine, but their Albarino is now my go-to summer white wine. I thought Rose was too sugary of a wine, but their Rose has incredible flavor without heft. I'm an enduring fan of their Block 8 Syrah, but the Cab Sauv is a close second. The Space: It's gorgeous. The building is beautiful, the grounds are well-maintained, the vineyard (which you can tour at some of their events) feels old-world-meets-tech, the cellars are amazing, and everything feels welcoming. Like, I don't just want to go here, I want to spend time here. The People: The employees are wonderful: welcoming, knowledgeable, happy, humble, and it never feels like they're just trying to sell you something. They're honest and upbeat, even at times when I *know* they must be feeling rushed or stressed. It makes the whole place feel like hanging out with friends and neighbors (but in a classy way). This is *not* the kind of winery where they pour, recite a litany about the varietal, and walk away. This is the kind of winery where you can walk in and say "I know nothing about wine" and they'll be excited to take you wherever your curiosity about wine takes you. The Food: I've eaten at the Thursday happy hours, at buffet banquets, and at a tasting/pairing event. Each time the food has been delicious, unique, and well-paired. And it's all from scratch, locally grown & grazed, etc. even their charcuterie boards are lovely (and a lot...you will not leave hungry). I recommend trying the flatbread pizzas off their wood-fired grill. Oh, and the menu changes quarterly, so I've yet to get bored with anything. The Community: In addition to this place feeling like a community, and growing one with their wine clubs and virtual tasting group, they're involved in the Tri-Cities community. I love when local small businesses support each other and non-profits in the area! They have regular events and banquet fundraisers for orgs like Children's Developmental Center and TROT. Oh, the prices? I'd call them good. High enough to convey the quality, but low enough to be approachable even for people who are just starting to try wine. And they do a lot of sales and discounts throughout the year. The tasting room prices are spot-on, which keeps Terra Blanca feeling inclusive. Ali was great from the start, she listened to our desires and offered opinions on different options. We settled on an itinerary and then realized we had given Ali the wrong date (off by a week)! She shrugged it off, canceled all of our original reservations and worked with us to create an even better itinerary for the correct date. She picked us up right on time and was extremely friendly, attentive, and informative. She obviously has forged good relations with many Walla Walla wineries. She arranged lunch, from Graze in Walla Walla, which was served at a lovely setting on an outdoor patio at Saviah winery on gorgeous June day. Though we ran a little late during our last visit at Devison (great winery suggested by Ali), she didn't charge us for the extra time. We visited four great wineries; Saviah, Garrison Creek, Doubleback, and Devison. Garrison Creek and Doubleback were on the exclusive side while Saviah and (especially) Devison were more casual. It was great for us as we enjoy both types. The Touring Company checks all the boxes for a great guided wine tour. My wife and I have used touring companies from California to France and The Touring Company, Ali specifically, was as good or better than any.

We had the honor of having Bob as our driver for a Saturday trip to Walla Walla wine country…read morerecently. Bob made the whole planning process so easy, he was reachable by email, text and phone and replied quickly whenever I reached out! Bob arrived promptly to our meeting location as planned and had plenty of water and snacks for our group of 13. He had reached out to each winery we wanted to visit so we had reservations and were good to begin tasting as soon as we reached our first, and second and third, and so on destination. During the planning stage, he had given us the option to assist in choosing wineries or we can give him our list and he would take care of the rest. Since it was such a large group, a few people had some they wanted to visit , and that quickly filled our itinerary! It was nice to be able to enjoy the tastings with door to door service and not have to worry about driving. Even though you think you can handle it, those tastings really start to creep up on you by the 2nd or 3rd winery! Always better safe then sorry! Van was clean as well and he provided winery magazines to look over as well as a stool to get in and out of the van for those vertically challenged. If we ever go back to Walla Walla or one of the other cities where Roads2 Travel hosts tours, we will definitely book through them again! Payment was easy as well, everything was done through PayPal through their site so no need to worry about it when we got there!
