After doing research on all the wine touring options in Walla Walla we settled on The Touring Company. Ali was great from the start, she listened to our desires and offered opinions on different options. We settled on an itinerary and then realized we had given Ali the wrong date (off by a week)! She shrugged it off, canceled all of our original reservations and worked with us to create an even better itinerary for the correct date. She picked us up right on time and was extremely friendly, attentive, and informative. She obviously has forged good relations with many Walla Walla wineries. She arranged lunch, from Graze in Walla Walla, which was served at a lovely setting on an outdoor patio at Saviah winery on gorgeous June day. Though we ran a little late during our last visit at Devison (great winery suggested by Ali), she didn't charge us for the extra time. We visited four great wineries; Saviah, Garrison Creek, Doubleback, and Devison. Garrison Creek and Doubleback were on the exclusive side while Saviah and (especially) Devison were more casual. It was great for us as we enjoy both types. The Touring Company checks all the boxes for a great guided wine tour. My wife and I have used touring companies from California to France and The Touring Company, Ali specifically, was as good or better than any. read more

This was our second year in a row with Ali and The Touring Company and I cannot say enough wonderful things about them. This year was a party of 5 and we all agreed it was the best wine tour we've ever taken. Ali listened to us and chose the perfect wineries that we all enjoyed. I'm looking forward to next year. read more

Ryan was the Tour guide for our group of 4. He was very friendly, but pretty quiet. When we asked him questions, however, he was very informative and knowledgeable about wine and the walla walla wine country. I knew this wasn't going to be a party bus by any means but it was almost awkward at first because Ryan was so quiet and the radio was all the way turned down....but after we had a glass or two of wine that didn't matter any more :-) If you are looking for a very low key ride from winery to winery this is the tour guide to go with! On a different note, the second winery they scheduled for us was absolutely gorgeous and had AMAZING wine, it was called Alton Winery. We all agreed we could have just stayed there all day! Finally, Ali and Ryan do have a great business they're running...they did all of the planning and for someone like me who is always having to plan trips, it was a nice break for a day! read more

My trip to Walla Walla had been delayed for one year due to COVID. When the trip finally happened, it surpassed my expectations. Ali from The Touring Company selected very unique wineries and scheduled all of our tastings. The range of different wineries was amazing as you could really experience terroir. The tour was organized perfectly! Her husband Ryan was our guide for the second day. His knowledge about wine production was intimate and fascinating. The services from the Touring Company were above and beyond. I recommend The Touring Company to anyone that travels to the Walla Walla valley. read more

I went with Ali's mixed group in mid-September, which was a great offering for my girlfriend and I and we didn't want to splash out on a private tour for ourselves. Anyways, we were picked up punctually at our hotel in a mini-bus/van type vehicle and we were off. Ali has some previous experience in the wine industry and it showed in some of the responses to our various questions. We were shown around to a splendid selection of wineries and vineyards that showcased some of the variety of offerings in the region. Lunch was delicious (and included). She also used a rather fun method of keeping track of who bought which wines among our group so there were no disputes / confusion at the end. Anyways, would do again in a heartbeat and highly recommended. read more

We selected The Touring Company for a private wine tour on our trip to Walla Walla, Washington. Ali, the co-owner, was fabulous throughout. She was responsive and provided a great list of top wineries to choose from. Her knowledge of the area and different properties was excellent. Everywhere we went, they all know Ali and it was clear to us that she has an excellent reputation. All the wineries we visited were top shelf and a great experience overall. I would definitely recommend Ali and The Touring Company! read more

We came down for the weekend to celebrate my husband's 50th birthday. He had never been to Walla Walla before. I booked a tour with Ali and she arranged a wonderful tour of stops. There are so many wineries and tasting rooms to choose from that we wouldn't have known where to start. She picked us up at our hotel and we immediately became fast friends. She is very knowledgeable and fun. We enjoyed a great lunch at one of our stops and she even baked us some homemade brownies! Very personable and professional. We will be back and sending friends and family her way. read more

Four girl friends and I used the Touring Co for wine tasting in Walla Walla. Ali help me decide on what wineries to visit and set up all the tastings. They suggested we order lunch from a local restaurant. They placed our order and picked it up. They kept our lunch in the cooler along with waters until we were ready to eat. Ali and Ryan were both very professional, on time and very knowledgeable. I would highly recommend their services! read more

Our family partnered with Ali and the Touring Company for a half-day wine tour throughout the Walla Walla valley to celebrate a birthday. We were more than impressed! The wineries she recommended were spot on! She was knowledgeable, shared great local history, and was over the top friendly. We will definitely book again! read more

Ali's relationships with the great wineries of Walla Walla, attentive service and focus on details all made for a wonderful day for our large group. I usually drive but we required her chauffer skills to get eight of us around and it was a treat! read more

We had the best time touring with Ryan from The Touring Company! He was great to chat with, gave us some amazing history of the area, and took us to just the right spots. It was a delightful day spent with friends and curated by The Touring Company. When we were planning to get out of town, Ali made it so easy by letting us know they'd be happy to plan around whatever wineries we had in mind, but that if we didn't have a plan, they would make one for us. As a working parent who is juggling many things, having that part of the trip planning off my plate was a really big deal. Thanks Ryan and Ali! read more

Ali was great from the booking process, to recommending and setting up winery appointments. She was so knowledgeable with a fun personality. We highly recommend using her. She will be our go to for all future trips to Walla Walla! read more

Ali did a excellent job in making sure that she was punctual with her pick up times. Also she was very inviting and knowledgeable about the city of Walla Walla as well as the wineries! You can't go wrong in selecting her as your tour guide for many and I mean many wineries in Walla Walla! The Touring Maven is truly a Maven with her craft. I will be using her next year maybe in shorter time once again. I trust Ali for my wine touring needs in Walla Walla and surrounding areas. read more

Wow...where to start regarding our day with Ali?! She was early to pick us up, which was very refreshing, and the van was clean and comfortable and stocked with cold water and sandwiches (and homemade cookies!). The tour was seamless and Ali knows all the winemakers in the area and has a wealth of knowledge on wine and winemaking that was very refreshing and added value to the tour. She is also lovely, warm, sweet, bubbly, professional and intelligent. Highly recommended! read more

We had an absolutely PERFECT day. Ali Rodgers, owner of The Touring Company, was in great communication with us for the preplanning of the trip. She booked us private tastings with four wineries, all within our price range. Her friend, Tom Olson, drove the Mercedes van and delighted us with his knowedge of the area and of all the wineries. Tom also took pictures along the way, and downloaded them to us after the trip. In addition, Tom identified and organized the purchased wine bottles so it was easy to facilitate at the end of the day. Between Ali and Tom, every detail was attended to. We thank them both for their attentive and joyful personalities. read more

I found The Touring Co through Yelp and I am so happy I did! Ali was amazing! With a group of 10 strong women, you never know how things will go. However, we all had the most amazing time. Ali took care of absolutely everything and went above and beyond for all of us. read more

Ali and Ryan were AMAZING. We had an incredible day. HIGHLY recommend!

Ali took us to three amazing wineries, and she spirited us around in her super clean comfy van with such kindness and positivity. Her wine knowledge was exceptional, and she took excellent care of all of us, making sure we were properly hydrated and happy. We were so impressed we asked if she might be able to take us on another tour the following day, but she was booked -- so be sure to book in advance. A completely AWESOME EXPERIENCE! read more

I was planning an anniversary wine tasting trip for my wife and me so I wanted everything to be special and go smoothly. I did quite a bit of research including evaluating references and reviews. The Touring Company consistently got high ratings. I had some very specific requests as well as looking for some recommendations. Ali was very responsive and worked out a custom 5hr tour for us which included a couple wineries that I couldn't have gotten into on my own. Ryan was our friendly and informed driver and everything went as we had hoped and all expectations were met. Definitely a person I would recommend and use again. read more

We had been to Walla Walla before but never had toured any wineries. A good friend of mine had booked this event with Ali, Ryan and her team at The Touring Company and it was a fantastic experience! The picked us up in their brand new Mercedes Sprinter van and we headed off to 2 great and cool wineries in Echo, Oregon, The Distillery in Pendleton (great food and drink!) and the coolest little brewery in the middle of farm land in Milton, who would have known? Their knowledge of the area, wineries, breweries and their passion to create a great experience really showed. I highly recommend! read more

So glad we found Ali and her intimate wine tour on Airbnb! We kept saying how glad we were that we didn't go with our original plan (taking Uber around to each winery). Not only would that have been a pain, we wouldn't have gotten nearly the amount of knowledge and expertise as we did with Ali. She also takes care of EVERYTHING while you're busy getting tipsy (packed lunches, organizing and hauling your wine purchases, etc). Thank you Ali for a great experience!! read more

Best option for wine tasting in Walla Walla without a doubt. We had an amazing experience with Ali and she took us to some of the best wineries in the area. Totally recommended! Thanks again for everything Ali! read more

My husband and I had a fantastic holiday visiting the Eastern Washington wine community thanks to The Touring Company of Walla Walla. Ali Rodgers is a true professional, we learned so much about the wine region from her, and got to visit so many wineries that we wouldn't have known about or found on our own. Her tours are exactly what we like. We didn't want to have a limo and guide that we had to pay for by the hour. We wanted a day-long experience for a flat rate, possibly sharing the visit with other wine lovers. Since we were visiting in September after the busy summer rush, we ended up having a private tour lead by Ali. We loved it so much we did two full days with her. She made sure we visited a couple of wineries I had in mind, a brewery each day for my husband, and introduced us to some fabulous new places...even arranging a behind the scenes tour and barrel tasting! She also picks up lunch and finds a lovely spot for your meal. We recommend The Touring Company of Walla Walla enthusiastically, and hope we get back to that region of Washington again some day. read more

Ali did an amazing job with our group. She recommended some places were would never have thought of and ended up being wine club members. She set up our lunches at one of the wineries and would go out of her way to get us anything we needed. We are annual visitors of Walla Walla and will use her again for sure! read more

This was such a wonderful tour! Ali, our guide, was very knowledgeable about the area, and her great relationships with the winemakers made each tasting special. I would highly recommend The Touring Company to show you some of the best wines in Walla Walla! read more

Absolutely perfect!! Ally is WONDERFUL. She was delightful to be with, super helpful and easy to work with.

Had a great day of wine tasting with the help of Ali and The Touring Company. We made our way around to four different vineyards with Ali at the helm -- driving, offering recommendations, grabbing lunch, and helping get our bottle(ssssssss) back to our hotel safely! Ali was super down to earth, and I'd highly recommend her for your day of wine tasting. read more

My wife and I celebrated our 10th wedding anniversary in Walla Walla and spent a great day wine tasting with The Touring Company. Ali was everything one could ask for in a host and proprietor. Communication was clear and direct. She was great with checking in about our preferences and was prompt with our pick-up time. We enjoyed all of the wineries on the itinerary and were excited about her great selection. Ali's Mercedes shuttle was modern and clean and it was obvious she enjoyed sharing her knowledge about the region's wine industry. The catered picnic lunch was a perfect opportunity to relax and get to know the other customers on the tour. We wish we could use The Touring Company for all or our Walla Walla wine and dining experiences! As an owner of a Washington state restaurant company, I'm happy to give the best possible review of Ali and her company. Reserve your tour and enjoy the best possible Walla Walla wine tour! read more
