Couldn't have asked for more from Tom! He tailored the perfect tour based on what we like. Then he just took care of everything-even made recommendations for lunch before. His driving was great and it was nice to have our own car. Tom brought a cooler of water and encouraged us to hydrate between wineries. He also labeled and hauled out wine purchased, took pictures and sent us a recap of wineries we visited. His knowledge of Walla Walla and the wine industry was top notch. I would recommend and use Tom without considering another option.

Tom is the absolute best!!! 5 stars is not enough! Thank you Tom for the most fabulous adventure through the Walla Walla vineyards and tastings!

We loved using Wine Country 2 Go yesterday on our weekend wine trip to Walla Walla! Tom was so friendly and had great local recommendations for us. It was so nice to not have to worry about driving while imbibing. All the winemakers knew Tom so we knew we were in good hands. He took pictures of us throughout the entire day and then emailed them to us after the tour. And he even sent us a follow-up email today to let us know one of the wineries we wanted to visit would be closing early. So thoughtful! We will definitely be calling Tom on any future visit we make to Walla Walla! Thank you Tom!

    Fun at Proper!

We were in Walla Walla for wine release weekend and our experience was beyond amazing! Thanks to Tom Olsen who we now consider a friend and part of our family! He made our entire experience so very memorable and outstanding! Tom documented each day of our tasting by capturing many pictures of the gorgeous wineries and candid photos of our family and friends along the way. He made our time in Walla Walla so very special and we could not have asked for anything more as he made every single thoughtful detail so very special for us! Highly recommended to anyone who is looking for a great guide through wine country and a friend that you will have for a lifetime!

    Great day with Tom!

My husband and I just spent an entire day with Tom and it exceeded our expectations! Not only is he super friendly but he is incredibly knowledgable and takes the the guess work out of directions/timing of winery hours. He also introduced us to our new favorite winery, Adament. Without Tom we wouldn't have known to go to this tasting room. We would absolutely recommend Tom to any of our family/friends, and will be contacting him next time we are in Walla Walla. Thank you for the amazing experience, Tom!

I cannot overstate how great Tom's service is! Having a driver who is so knowledgeable, so friendly, and so easygoing makes for an amazing wine tour. Tom responded quickly to our email inquiries, and he lined up a truly enjoyable day for us. He knew which wineries would be open mid-week, and he knows the story at each place. His expertise is unparalleled. There's no pressure to buy, no agendas or schedules to keep, just a friendly driver who helps you make the most out of your trip. Tom is the best!

The end of a perfect day of wine tasting with Tom from Wine Country 2 Go!

Some friends and I had Tom as our driver when we were in town for a few days. He was an *excellent* guide--easy-going, very knowledgeable and plugged-in to the local scene! It was clear he wanted us to have the best experience possible, and thanks to him, it was an awesome day! If we had specific places we wanted to stop, he was very accommodating, and he also suggestions of where to go depending on what we were looking for (best ambiance or view, what tasting rooms might have specific types of wine, etc.). It was the best of both worlds, since we visited an old favorite and discovered some great spots! Just what we wanted. He really went out of his way--when we really, really wanted to try a particular grape, he even asked a winemaker if we could sample a wine that was not part of the tasting that day. Tom was also a conscientious driver, and I felt completely safe in his hands. As other reviewers note it keeps costs down to have him drive your car (or rental car, apparently--you can add him as a driver for the day). It also gives you the flexibility to make the day *yours*--stay longer at a spot, bring whatever you want in the car, etc. I can't imagine going on an organized wine tour after having such a cool, personalized and friendly experience!

On a weekend getaway filled with celebrations, we spent an entire Saturday touring not one, not…read moretwo, but five wineries and had it not been for Freddy Gs who knows where we'd have gone. We were lucky to have been paired up with Jose who drove us from one to the next on a perfectly selected bunch of wineries that were all different and equally as fantastic. Our group is no quiet bunch that has a good time, so Jose was fun and fit right in. He is from the area and gave good insight on other wineries to check out after our tour was over, restaurants and eateries in the area, local hot spots...when in doubt ask Jose. Before we set off on the grand tour, he greeted us promptly with two bottles of wine that we saved for later. There were 7 of us and we all were comfortable in the van that was provided. For our day out, we made several stops that included: Walla Walla Vintners - The vineyard and landscape is cozy and very comfortable. We were the only group there and got a really great conversation going about their wines and about a couple of other places to try out. The interior is beautiful with stained barn doors and paneled windows. For the wines...don't be afraid to go back and forth. I did a taste test without knowing which wine was which and wound up enjoying a wine that was completely unexpected. I loved that this was encouraged. They want you to drink what is perfect for your palette. Tranche - This is a very modern winery with beautiful art scattered around. Had it been a warmer day and the back doors opened into a courtyard overlooking the vines it would be have been perfect. They have a variety of lighter bodied wines, so if you're looking for a blush. Alluve - Interesting backstory of the couple who served in the Air Force, it's a very small tasting room at the top of their Italian themed villa. The landscaping was beautiful, but the story on the property is well worth a listen to. Amavi - Two words. Vintage Chevy. Be prepared to pay upfront for your wine tasting here and be given a token to be used when you purchase wine later. The winery itself is very spacious and offers gorgeous views. We had a personal tasting with the owner who walked us through their wines as well as the history of the winery and he offered to take a picture of us in an old vintage Chevrolet truck on the property. We took full advantage and absolutely wanted Jose to be part of that picture because he had been such a great guide for the entire day. Castillo de Feliciana Vineyard and Winery - This winery, and the experience of it is why we are thankful for Freddy G's service. We made this our last stop (that's a lot of wine tasting!) and it was the best recommendation on the fly. We turned to Jose and asked about a winery with bubbles and he was immediate in responding. His knowledge of the wineries, and his personal taste came right into play and it was outstanding. The winery is basically a Spanish villa and utterly adorable. There was only one person working and she was busy, but don't let that discourage, she was well aware of who was coming and going and did not forget anyone during their tasting. Because there's some driving involved getting from one place to the next, we bypassed wasting any time for ourselves and took up a great recommendation from Jose and from one of the wineries had him pick up some lunch for us from a delicious lunch spot called Graze. Yum, the food hit the spot and held us over until we parked it on the next tasting. Working with Freddy to get the logistics prepared for the wineries and then having Jose made for a great first time outing in Walla Walla. We had great communication and it was a smooth and easy process and the overall service provided was above and beyond. I highly recommend as wine tasting can be daunting in a very spread out region, this took the stress out of trying to figure out what winery to go to when there's well over 160 to choose from. Thank you for a memorable trip!

This was our first visit to the Red Mountain AVA, and our goal was to safely explore some of the smaller wineries to get a true sense of what the region has to offer. From the very beginning, David exceeded our expectations. He responded quickly to texts and had us complete a thoughtful questionnaire about our wine preferences and even our music tastes so he could tailor the experience to us. Communication was outstanding. He called the day before to confirm everything and even offered to contact a winery we wanted to visit when he couldn't personally take us there, just to let them know we were coming. That level of service really stood out. On the day of our tour, David arrived right on time. His vehicle was immaculate, with cold water waiting for us, and he was friendly, professional, and incredibly knowledgeable. Every winery he selected was exactly the type we were hoping to discover. Each stop was expecting us, and thanks to David's relationships, we received VIP treatment everywhere we went, with tastings customized to our palate. The highlight of the day was when David arranged for us to sit down with the owner and assistant winemaker of a local winery--even though they were closed. That experience alone speaks volumes about the relationships he has built and the exceptional level of service he provides. If you want a safe, comfortable, and truly personalized wine tour with someone who knows the region inside and out, ask for David at TC Black. He made our first visit to Red Mountain unforgettable, and we'll absolutely book with him again.

Not knowing much about the region or the wineries we felt almost overwhelmed by where to begin. From the start of booking, as we crafted the itinerary they were super responsive and provided great suggestions for wineries to visit and curated the tour by our preferences of reds and roses. The car was clean and stocked with water and iced coffee, which was a nice pick-me-up throughout our day. A yummy lunch was also included which we stopped to enjoy while visiting one of the wineries during our tasting. Imbibe was also conscious to ask whether anyone in our group had dietary restrictions - one person didn't eat red meat and they were able accommodate a separate meal for them as well. Jay was our driver for the day and was absolutely fantastic! Having lived in area for years he was very familiar with each of the wineries and their histories, so he provided a little background as we were on our way to each. After a winery or two, you lose track of time, at least I know we did :) so Jay was also great about keeping us on schedule. If you're looking to visit Walla Walla for a day or two of wine tasting, I highly recommend Imbibe Wine Tours, you can't go wrong!
