Yup, this location is that good that I've visited 2 times in 7 days. The local Kroger's prints coupons on the back of the receipts for Great Clips haircuts for only $9.99, adult or child. I've been saving the coupons because with 5 kids, we get lots of haircuts in this family. I took my 10 yr old son and 9 yr old daughter here on separate occasions. My son on a Friday and my daughter on a Saturday. Normally I would check in online, so I wouldn't have to wait extra long if there was a lot of people. But I took a stab in the dark and just did walk-in both times. Either this location is seldom busy or I got lucky on both occasions, because I didn't have to wait either time. My children were able to sit right in a chair and get a haircut immediately. Fay was the nice lady the cut the hair both times. She was fast and friendly- and both hair cuts looked great! I was super pleased as were my kids. This location is super clean and easy to find. Located in a tiny strip between a Jimmy John and Sherwin Williams. Washington Township, MI No sooner did I sit down in the salon chair (Faith the stylist) was finished cutting and started sweeping my hair off the floor. I believe she was done under 5 minutes and that's being generous. This was the most rushed trim I ever had in my life. She did not go back one time to check and pull the long damp hair to measure that it was even all around and especially that the sides next to the face matched up even. When I got home it was dried and one side was obviously longer than the other and some stray longer hairs were completely missed by the scissors in a few areas. Brides beware!! They are very slow to respond and communicate expectations poorly. Their…read morecancellation policy is 72 hours once the contract is signed and they seemingly intentionally do not respond in a timely manner within the cancellation window. Once outside of the cancellation window they were more responsive, however rude and unwilling to flex on their policy even after citing reasons why I was uncomfortable moving forward with their hair services, and willingness to work with them before deciding to cancel (the result was not what I wanted and I communicated this within 24 hours to them). I was dissatisfied with the hair trial for my wedding, which was voiced during the trial and dismissed, and now I am stuck with a non-refundable deposit because of their poor communication practices. I politely requested the difference of the deposit and trial services refunded to me, and was met with extreme defensiveness. I felt extremely undervalued as a customer, and their apology simply did not feel genuine or with any desire to make it right. Be careful when referencing their "not normal business hours" approach, because they will use this to say that just about any time that you contact them does not fall within that time frame. This is the main concern, I had high hopes and excitement for their services based on previous reviews, and was incredibly disappointed with the way they do business. They are very shady with contracts, and seems they will skew their words to ensure they are not violating their own contract. See the other one star reviews, it was a similar experience. Aside from that, Kaity who did my makeup was absolutely incredible. I started with wanting "natural but amp-ed up" and then realized I liked a lot more glam. She listened and provided advice, gave me exactly like my inspiration, and the makeup lasted all day - even after a gym workout. If you are confident in your services and need no changes, this make-up is worth it.
