Had a marvelous time at this restaurant. First time at restaurant . We're greeted very warm and friendly. We had a choice ofOur server, Sergio was helpful in helping us decide what to have. Since this was Mediterranean, we had to let Sergio guide us. Our entrees included Mixed Grill on Kabobs of chicken, lamb and beef. Meat was very juicy and tender. Our next entree was Farouj Musahab. It was beautifully grilled, marinated lemon flavored Cornish hen. It was juicy. Our vegetables included , broccoli, carrots, tomatoes, and yellow squash. There was plenty of rice. Because there was so many things on the menu and the way Sergio described them , we got extra dishes. We also had the Kibbeh Bi Laban, which was Fried Kibbeh balls( ground beef and cracked wheat, stuffed with lamb) cooked in yogurt sauce served with rice. We were not impressed by the food at all. It was at best a fast food style mediterranean cafe. We got the appetizer platter for $20 which was your basic tabouleh, hummus and some spinach filled pies. They also had some complimentary fresh baked bread but it was really dry and tasteless. For our main entree we got the mixed kabob plate and it was alright but nothing amazing that everyone is raving about. I also asked for a mint tea and got charged $10 which is way overpriced. Overall we spent too much money here and left hungry for some basic food. Our waitress however was a 10/10 and super helpful and attentive the entire time. I think her name was Noor! This place was surprisingly good and was located in the perfect area in my opinion. We ordered takeout from the restaurant itself and picked it up. The lady on the phone was kind and the food was done when we arrived. I ordered the veggie platter which costs a bit more during lunch or dinner time but it was very worth it and my husband got a mixed meat platter. Everything was delicious and cooked perfectly. I enjoyed my platter very very much. The spinach's pies were delicious, the hummus and baba ghanouj were authentic and yummy. The tabbouleh was drenched in bottled lemon juice which wasn't great but I drained it. My husbands fries were inedible. All in all I would highly recommend this place, they have great food that is very authentic. Like how mama makes it! The best choice of the weekend! Visiting from out of town, we are celebrating my brother's birthday and I put myself in charge of finding a nice restaurant because I am the foodie of the family. Mediterranean/Middle Eastern cuisines will forever be my go to and my family has never really tried it. I wanted them to experience a new culture and this restaurant did not disappoint! Parking was easy because there is a big lot right in front and it is easy to spot the sign in the plaza. Cedar's is the true definition of fine dining and authentic food. I dont wanna tell people I love this spot and am just sad I don't live closer or Id get take out ALL the time! Its not often post pandemic you can get any dish and it is delicious. Just throw a dart at the menu and you are GOOD! That is if you like Mediterranean food. Cedar's doesn't disappoint. Great atmosphere for a dinner date, lunch date or even large party meal. The decor is minimalistic for its peers over in "Restaurant Row" but still stylish. The kitchen is mostly open where you can see their brick oven and lavash bread being made. The staff is so nice and they did have an issue with some repairs needed to their ladies room (running toilet and broken door latch in one stall) but the staff immediately jumped to address it when I mentioned it. Parking is good once you can get in the shared lot there is a lot of businesses in this space. Much easier than other restaurants in that area. Ok now the FOOD! I first tried their mixed grill kebab with their basmati/jasmine rice and veggies. The veggies are perfect! Firm but not raw with seasoning (hello Garlic!). The rice is so aromatic it can be eaten solo. And then the grilled meat assortments are flavorful and juicy. My last visit was lamb chops with the same sides. Soooo good! Even more tender and flavorful than the kebab. The appetizers Ive tried are their salad, their hummus with roasted lamb, falafel, the kibbeh and the Shanklish. Amazing! All of them! Finale is always their Knafe but the Baklava is really good. Some stuff didnt make it to the pics but I promise you they dont miss. I cant wait to go back! read more

We were looking forward to going to Cedar's after friends had recommended it for over a year. We had reservations for our table of 10 people for 8.00 PM, and the place of half full. The service was terrible. We waited for over 10 minutes to place drink orders. It took one person in our group almost 30 minutes to get her drink. One member of our group ordered wine and they could not bring her the wine because they were "waiting for a glass", she got a glass of wine 30-40 minutes after ordering (we could see wine glasses in the glass rack). None of the food came out together. Appetizers came out with entrees. Three of us were still waiting for food when everyone else had finished their meals. I ordered the baked Kibbeh. It was not edible. It was burned, black, and so tough I could not cut it. My husband had to tell the server to clear dishes that had piled up. The friends that recommended Cedar's were with us and they were equally disappointed and embarrassed because they had raved about the place. They repeatedly apologized to all of us, but it was not their fault. The fault is only Cedars. Cedar's you lost a great deal of money the night we were there, we all would have ordered more drinks and desserts if the service had been better. This restaurant is located in the heart of an abundant amount of different food options to choose from, but we decided to give it a try since we were in the mood for mediterranean cuisine. We went around 5pm and the place seemed fairly empty while sitting outside. I ordered the Vegetarian platter, which came with an assortment of small bits consisting of falafels, hummus, tabouli, and fatayer. I would say the food was mediocre based on the price point. It was a little high for typical mediterranean food, and expected more flavorful quality food. The falafels were a little dry and the hummus tasted like Sabra hummus I have bought before from Publix. For such a well known restaurant I expected homemade hummus at least. Other than the below average food, the service wasn't much better. The server wasn't very attentive such as not filling up empty water glasses even once, but he was very accommodating with helping on recommendations and substituting items that we didn't want included in the platter. In addition, unfortunately my sister did not like her dish she ordered but the server was kind enough to give us dessert (baklava) free of charge. Food was great and service was good. However, I had dropped one of my belongings on the floor and left the Resturant. When I came back, a patron informed me they had turned it into the resturant. When I asked for it back they refused, and essentially stealing my belongings. They were going around to each other asking who took it. I've never left a review in my life, then again I haven't had my belongings stolen from me in a resturant by a worker. Unfortunately have to give one star due to sticky fingers. Shawarma, shawarma, shawarma... Oh how I love you... For my first venture into Lebanese cuisine, I was happily pleased. The main courses were great, but let me emphasize how lovely the hummus and shawarma appetizer ($7.50) tasted yesterday. The freshly made warm pita bread was also a plus. Like pillows of shawarma/hummus filled goodness in my mouthhhhhh. As for the main entrees, I ordered the Bemieh (lamb, okra, in a tomato based sauce, for $15) and my friend ordered the Kibbeh Bi Laban (which were a special type of beef meatball served in a thick creamy sauce, also $15). I liked the Bemieh. It reminded me of that Tajine Jilbana from Zitouna in San Francisco, but with thinner sauce and more tomato-ey. (Is that even a word?) In other words, their tomato sauce is kinda like a stew/soup consistency. Mr. Picky Table's Kibbeh Bi Laban was much more tastey. I have a preference for creamy foods, so naturally I liked his dish better. The sauce had a thick creamy texture (like thinned out yogurt), and the meatball was really good and had a different taste. They mixed some Lebanese spices in with the meat. We had some great dessert. I don't remember what it was, except that it came with a simple yellow cake sitting on top of a rose-flavored sugary sauce. Simple and delicious. Oh, I almost forgot. The Turkish Coffee ($2.50) was excellent. I've never had a coffee so rich with flavor. Happily pleased. Service was OK. The lady should smile a bit more. I guess it's just one of those days for her. ::shrug:: They have outdoor seating here. It's kind of enclosed with a roof above and walls around. Came here for a family gathering on Sunday evening. Their cold and hot appetizers were simply astonishing and amazing. Kibbe niyye! Cheese rolls! Kibbe bil foron! Makanek! Hummus bi lahme!
