There's really no ambiance here so if you're looking for a no frills spot, this is it. Casper was super friendly and hospitable! He gave us recommendations which we ultimately went with. The Lemon Lit Hookah was different than what I usually smoke. It had a zesty lemon and icy cold flavor that's pretty refreshing although could be a bit harsh if you're not used to the icy flavor. I usually prefer mint over ice flavor (yes, there is a difference) so this wasn't my favorite but it was a good try. It lasted for the 2 hours we were there (and could have kept going). We stopped in early on a Friday evening. It wasn't very busy. We got prompt service. The menu was organized by brand and the prices were cheaper than listed on the menu so it might be helpful to ask. Stumbled upon this place mistakenly thinking it was Zaman Mediterranean Grill Cuisine, however I believe they are next to or close to each other. This Hookah lounge is actually at the corner of the plaza rather than in the middle like older photos. Either way, both establishments are in business together. I arrived on a Monday night being my second night in Orlando. I was craving for this food and heard good reviews about this as well. I was seated on the couches and the waitress handed the menu - from Zaman Cuisine. I ordered the Lemon Mint Juice and the Meat Shawarma. Unfortunately, they ran out of the Falafel. Lemon Mint - excellent taste of the two ingredients together. Meat Shawarma - Marinated Slow-roasted meat served with grilled peppers and rice. I would say it was a good amount of food just one person and so I took leftovers back to the hotel. The waitress was nice at first and I tipped her very generously, but the only thing that gave me a somewhat an off-vibe was when I kindly let her know she miscounted my change and she gave me a look, rolled her eyes and handed me the missing change she had tucked to the side of the register. Affordable but service was lacking. Great hookah prices and they have a pretty big food menu that looked yummy. I came here with a friend because we happened to be in the area. We had already eaten so we didn't take full advantage of their menu (other than an order of fries). We mixed the gum and mint flavors and it was really good. First time trying the gum flavor. The hookahs come with disposable plastic hoses so it's more sanitary, which is good. CONS: The furniture is beat up and needs replacing. Customer service was pretty bad. I ordered a Turkish coffee and I had to remind them 3 times because it never came. I finally got it like an hour later when I told them how long I had been waiting for it. The fries we ordered took a long time as well. I don't know if their service is normally that bad or if they just had an off day. But it's pretty bad when you have to remind them 3 times to bring the coffee I ordered and I was being so patient and polite with them about it. It's nice that they provide phone chargers. Just FYI. For one plate to share hummus from a can barely blended with cloudy olive oil and microwaved pita that went hard before our SHARED one mix grill with 2 chicken and one lamb kabob with white flavorless rice no vermicelli and 1/4 cup chopped lettuce with lemon and sumac. Terrible service. One Staff just sitting there with his friend on a Friday night in the most tourist dense area of Orlando should have gone to show us not to dine here. The chicken came out very obviously cooked before. It was soft chicken but the internal temperature it came out with could not have been safe to serve. It was not hot. Then the bill came. $60 I could have eaten the best kabob at Bombay street kitchen with good service and REFILLS ON MY SODA for $45 after tip. Or Seito sushi with the best ingredients in winter park for $60. Shame on you. Not to mention the tacky reupholstered seating that was barely holding us up to eat said meal. read more

Another decent hookah spot. This area/ most spots in Florida charge gratuity. For those of you who dont know what that is, they take a certain percent of the bill and automatically tip the waiter or waitress. Here in Florida the amount is mostly 18 percent. So this is a reason why customer service here isnt great. No matter what they do or say they get paid either way. I had the hookah changed out the first time, the water was dirty, also the flavor didnt taste right at all. I ordered a double apple.. tasted like dirty hookah water and blueberry mint. AHA. The second time was alot better but I hate to fight for good product and good customer service. The place was so quite, no music not even the tv just for background noise. As you can see from my review from years ago, I loved coming to Zaman. The two experiences I had over the last two nights left the worst taste in my mouth (quite literally). The first night they served me a mousse with mold on the back of it. I didn't see it when I first took a bite but immediately spit it out and then saw splotches of mold on the back side. I let the server know and nothing more was done of it. Not an apology or anything, but it wasn't the end of the world and at least they didn't charge me I guess? Again, I used to love coming here for the hookah, so we went back the next night. I ordered a citrus mint hookah (17.99) and a Moroccan tea (4.99) but they had charged me for a citrus MIST (20.99) and a tea pot (10.99). I let them know that's not what I ordered but they said they already charged me and that's what they served me. I was annoyed with the service but just didn't want to be a pain so I just paid for what they served me for. To be honest, I wasn't going to write this Yelp review but before I left I glanced at the back of their pastry case and saw MORE MOLD on the mousses and cakes. It was disgusting and the service was so frustrating - hence my first 1 star Yelp review ever lol. read more

I've been misled! :( My BF & I visited Orlando for a powerlifting event, & as usual, we always search up hookah places wherever we travel to. My BF who is a regular hookah smoker taught me so much over the years of what's high quality & what's not; from the coals to the shishas to the pack job itself. When we arrived at Zaman's, there were 2 guys (one of them was most likely the owner), each smoking their own hookah, & one female that served us & other guests. She took multiple breaks smoking her own hookah as well & chatting with a friend that visited her throughout our visit. We ordered tea that was hella expensive for no reason. As for the hookah, we ordered a mix of mint & a fruit flavor (I can't remember). Girllllll *with the hand wave*, let me tell you, it was SUPER harsh to smoke. It was not smooth at all. They have indoor & outdoor seating but you would probably feel more comfortable inside. I feel even though the owners have not directly replied to any of the reviews on here they read them & have taken action to correct. - They were very attentive the whole time we were there. - They changed from the quick light coals. - We did not have to ask for new coals because they made sure to watch the area & make sure everyone was taken care of. - They did a better job packing the shisha The hookah price was affordable & they offered some fruit top options, a bit too extra for me but hey I'm sure some people like it. They have light food & beverages available as well, that chocolate shake looked good but I'll have to give that a shot next time. This is probably my least favorite experience so far at a hookah bar in Orlando. (It was rated so high and I have no idea why - we were mislead.) While the woman working was very polite, it did not make up for the poorly made bowls that got harsh and lost flavor very quickly. The pack job was terrible and they were not attentive to coals. I wish they would offer insta coals or naturals - not everyone likes the outcome of naturals. We got the "Zaman Special" and it was very fruity but in the way that tastes like the cheap fruit flavors you mix together at house parties. Also they could not get the music situation figured out, so us and two other groups sat awkwardly for about 10-15 minutes while they fiddled with the music. Great place for hookah, cannot recommend highly enough! If you smoke hookah on any sort of regular basis, this is where you want to go. Unlike most of the hookah bars I've visited, this is definitely a lounge--no DJ, lots of comfy couches and they provide some card games/dominoes to keep everyone entertained while they smoke. The flavors are great (they have Al Fakher shisha and a limited selection of Starbuzz) and they maintain the hookah really well. Ours smoked for about 2 hours, which is more than worth it for the price. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable and makes good recommendations if you aren't already familiar with hookah or their flavors. We tried the Turkish coffee and the Special Shake--both were very good. I was delighted that the Turkish coffee (which is pretty bitter by default) was served with a little Ferraro Rocher chocolate which was a good balance. My friend that ordered the shake stated it was one of the best she'd ever had. Overall, this would be a great place to just hang out or even have a small board game night--and it's definitely a great place to hang out and smoke some great hookah! read more

Very relaxing atmosphere. The lighting and decor are amazing and it is nicely lit unlike most of the hookah bars I have been to. The staff was really friendly and helped pick out the 2 perfect flavors for us. We ended up with double apple (my go to) and pina colada.
