The ropes are worn out. The water filter has been on red for awhile and stuff floats in my water. There's hard water stains all over the fountain. In general the place is dirty. The ceilings are stained. The rafters are filthy. The equipment is frequently filthy. The paper towels for sanitary stations almost never works or is out. The hand soap is frequently out in the bathroom. It's just a generally dirty place. But new equipment. And lots of it.

This site has the line of Nautilus weight lifting machines which are well designed and fit the body to a T. Nobody makes a more comfortable seat pad, either! All of the cable type machines are in good working order. There are plenty of free weights, too. Like all of the locations I've been to, there were numerous treadmills and ellipticals. This one even had a stair-climber. Unfortunately, the recumbent exercise bike I rode on was pretty ragged (like it was grinding). I cannot complain though - it did give a good workout despite giving the impression it was worn out.. The shower room was comfortable and included one amenity I have never seen before at an Anytime Fitness gym - a dispenser with soap and shampoo! What a nice touch on behalf of the owners. This is an excellent facility whether you are looking for a location near home, are a business traveler, or like me - just an RV'er passing through and wanting a workout and hot shower. Is this a gym I would join if I lived in this area?. Absolutely. It's one of the finest Anytime locations in Iowa.

Just completed a Yoga Challenge class tonight and left feeling challenged, energized and impressed with my self...that handstand is oh so closer to me now! I found this particular class more structured like a specialized yoga clinic. Tonight's particular class was utilizing different moves to prep your body for handstand. I was a little skeptical when we had to team up for double down dog...but it was brilliant! My favorite pose though was using the wall for a 90 degree handstand. Face the wall doing a very close down dog, walk up the wall with your legs until your torso, hips, & legs form a 90 degree angle! You can also modify this pose by lifting each leg separately and holding. My core muscles have never had a better workout! I am planning on trying their yoga path and vinyasa classes as well so I will keep my yelp updated!
