This place has 3 racquetball rooms but only 2 are usable since they made 1 room a youth room. I don't have problems with youth rooms, but seriously, this is a YMCA. This whole place is for youth.

Just remember, it does cost $3.00 if your a non swimmer. $4.00 for a swimmer. This place has a kiddy pool with a waterfall, jr. pool with small water slides, fountains and 2 giant water slides for the bigger kids. Diving boards with a med sized water slide and an olympic sized open area for lap swimmers and so on. If you get hungry they even have a snack bar. The only negative this place has is the locker rooms. They really need an upgrade. Broken faucets, cracked flooring and so on. I still give it 5 stars because it's still a great pool with lots to offer.

They have sanitation spray placed all over so it easy to clean up after yourself. Trainers are available. Their house music is Christian rock so bring ear buds if you want to tune this out. Busy during the week in the AM hours, but evenings are not bad. Rarely have to wait for a machine. Good selection of free weights. Members are friendly and there are no power lifters grunting all night. The HUGE downfall of this gym is that very few people re-rack their weights. Even the trainers don't clean up after themselves. It is rare to go in and not need to remove plates from bars or machines before you use them. They don't even have signs up to remind people of this horrible gym etiquette. I have never been to a gym that allows members and staff to be this clueless.

There are also integrative medicine practitioners you can visit to support your wellness journey. We visited on a chilly December day and loved the selection of loose leaf teas and great gift items. They also have a tea bar and the tea lattes were beyond yummy! Everyone in my group loved their selection- salted caramel drizzle, masala chai, and decaf cream caramel. We sat, chatted, and relaxed as we sipped our tea. The vibe is relaxed and the staff were so knowledgeable and engaged. I will definitely visit again when I return to Clear Lake.
