Roast beef with provolone, bacon, lettuce, tomato, mayo, horseradish sauce, and jalapeños.

Great people, great selection (was so stoked for the RAR out of order), and great quality and pricing on the food. Love me a Reuben and a cold cut, just decided to switch it up and try a roast beef today. The sandwiches are oh so satisfying. Stop by and let David know you read this and it convinced you to come lol

The sandwiches are as good as the beer selection.

Huge beer selection and great sandwiches. Well, I only got a sandwich once (Italian) but it was excellent. I can't find sandwiches like that around MoCo. It was full, flavorful and made with care. The craft beer selection is one of the best in the area. Someone takes great care in researching and ordering the beer. The selection is constantly rotating. You'll go in one week and the following week half of the beer inventory has turned over. Additionally, they often have food trucks parked out front. I am not sure if they list the food truck schedule anywhere, but that would be nice.

I will confess, I had driven past Cedar Grove store multiple times over the years, noting it was probably a nice little beer stop, but nowhere I needed to rush to. Little did I realize it was an all too hard to find spot for a good sandwich in the northern Montgomery County area. Is there a good beer supply? Definitely, great representation from local craft beer spots, most of them cold. After one experience calling in an order and going to pick it up I can't express enough how much I appreciated the friendly service, and of course the incredible food I brought home to my family. I had the cold cut sandwich with everything on it and I loved it. My wife got the Triple Deck which looked as good as she said it was. One of those sandwiches that have your elbows out and you chip away at with multiple attacks at the same area before you can put a dent in it. My daughter had a BLT sub, loaded with crispy bacon. She made multiple mentions of how good the bread was, which I would have to agree with. Is this a fancy sit down restaurant? Of course not, but a great place to grab some high quality sandwiches and cold beer. Something so simple, yet so scarce.

I had a Tasty Reuben but could have used a bit more meat for the price they are charging. My son's turkey sub was good but not great.

I have been to these kinds of events before but this one, by far was the largest event in one location. I arrive at 8a, 2hrs before the store opened. The line was probably 350 people deep when I arrived. It was 30 degrees out and I decided to brave the cold for an opportunity to snag some of the most elusive Whiskeys amd Bourbons in the area. So many people came out. I heard some came from as far as NY, WV, and NC to attend this event. By 1130a, i finally made it to the front door. All of my favorites were gone. I wondered round in the store aimlessly hoping to score something big. Nothing was insight. One of the folks I had just met in line shivering in the cold for 3.5h bumped into me again in the store and offered me what appeared to be last bottle of Kentucky Owl. I was vaguely familiar with this brand. He was not sure of the cost but but he was sure it was more than he wanted to spend so I was happy to recieve this bottle. But I still felt emptied handed so I back tracked down every aisle hoping to find one more rarity. A buddy mentioned to me to about the instore raffle for George C Stagg. I was somewhat resistant to registering online for it because I was sure 300 or more had already registered and I had no possible chance of scoring 1 of the 71 bottles available. I reluctantly registered and as luck would have it, score....!!! I began to think this trip may not be a bust after all. This is a great event and it is increasingly becoming popular. There were definitely some pros and cons. Pros: port-o-potties onsite Pros: selling shirts to memoralize event Pros: onsite bottle engraving Pros: online lottery registration Cons: people coming from out of state or a good distance away are camping out overnight. Tents, lawn chairs, and remnants of human habitation were every where. It looks bad. Cons: there isn't any priority for MoCo residents who actually shop at and support MC Liquor and Wine stores on a daily basis. Out of state or non county residents should have to register for a lottery and win to be able to participate. Cons: no food vendors present to offer food items for this day long event. Food trucks would have been nice. Cons: not a fan of this particular location as it is smack dab right in the middle of a highly populated neighborhood and shopping center. Parking became contentious. I will definitely attend another event. I hope they are able to make some additional changes to help improve user experience.

Expectations were high, after my sister's go to craft brewery closed down and her husband took to Stone Silo immediately, signing up to be a club member. The building itself did have a stone silo on property that opened up to fields. There was a rustic, farm type feel walking in the front door. Welcomed by stone and dark colored woods, the facility was quite large and clean with ample seating. A glance outside there were fire pits and chairs to sit set, along with an 'adult only' section if you don't like your craft with a crying 2 year old. I sampled a few beer including the IPA, which was a bit underwhelming, but expected since the West Coast is known for quality IPAs. I settled on the Japanese rice lager, 'Nojo with Yuzu.' What a mistake! Not something I could get behind and I like yuzu too. Just too tart for a lager and not what I was looking for in my light beer selection. Second round I tried their Czech style dark lager, Clever Crow. Not sure what about this was supposed to be lager, it really felt more porter-ish to me, did not drink light and just not what I was looking for in a dark lager. The grounds and staff were great, it was a fun place to hang with family, but maybe I just made two poor beer decisions. Expected a bit more from the taps but would be willing to go back and give Stone Silo a second chance, as I know my bro-in-law will want to go back since it's close to the house

I came across this place just 15 minutes from home that we'd somehow never tried before. We ordered the Churrasco Misto, a full Brazilian meal with steak, chicken, shrimp, and all the sides, enough to feed 4 (which worked perfectly for us- 2 adults and 2 toddlers). Ordering online was easy, and everything was ready in 35 minutes. When my husband got home, I was impressed, but the real win was when I tried it. Absolutely delicious. The meats were perfectly seasoned, juicy, and full of flavor, and every side dish complemented the meal so well. Sooo gooooood!! It was exactly what I was craving for and then some. We'll be back (often!) to try the feijoada, pizza, and more items on the menu. I'm so excited about this new find which was right under my nose all along!

It was a bit frustrating, to be honest. We had to ask for water at least three or four times, and each time we were told it was 'coming right up.' It took quite a while, which was a very disappointing start to the meal On the bright side, the food itself was quite good. The chef's combo steak was a highlight - perfectly cooked and seasoned, with a really delicious flavor. The sides that came with it were also very tasty and well-prepared. The calabresa pizza, while flavorful, was a bit on the heavy side. It was a bit too much for me, but someone with a preference for heavier pizzas might enjoy it more. The atmosphere was okay. The interior is dimly lit, which creates a cozy ambiance, but it also made it a bit difficult to see the menu. They have a mix of seating, with tables for both large and small groups. However, when the restaurant is busy, it gets quite noisy and crowded, making it hard to have a conversation. Overall, I'd say it's not a bad place to eat, especially if you're looking for a good steak. I'd definitely recommend avoiding it on holidays or other busy nights. The lackluster service really put a damper on our Valentine's Day experience. If you go on a less busy night, you'll probably have a much better time. Free parking lot.
