The cherry on the sunday here is Tony, Jeff, Tim and all the other company executives are down to earth and make a difficult experience EASY. Lets face it this can be very stressful. I feel that strongly about this review.

But the one thing we keep coming back to, aside from our health/family, is being so SO thankful for you guys. Your team of direct employees, your sub contractors, everyone.. every single person that we have met has left a wonderful impression on us. You guys build A LOT of homes, so maybe it gets lost on you (although with the patience we've experienced from each of you, I suspect not), but this process can be so stressful. Heck, when we came to you guys from our last builder, we had broken spirits and honestly weren't even sure if building was something we wanted to do, but you guys changed that. We've had friends that foolishly went with other builders tell us HORROR stories about their own experiences and every. single. time. we look at each other and shake our heads and think "omg that was almost us, but THANK GOD we went with Costa". Every step of the way you guys have been patient, up front, honest, kind.. the list goes on. This home is a massive investment for us, and as first time homebuilders this has been a little scary, but every step of the way Chris and Tony have made us feel more relaxed , calm, and confident. I could honestly go on forever but I really just wanted to drop a quick note to say Thank You. Thank You for all you've done so far, and all that you guys will do over the coming months, to make our home amazing and something we will be so very proud to call ours for years to come.

Initially, we were not familiar with them, but everything we compared with other companies sounded better and what we wanted. We decided to go with them. From our first meeting with Steve, we felt comfortable. We did not have a lot of knowledge about the process at all, but Steve directed us every step of the way and answered all our calls and texts and emails no matter when we reached out. Also Jackie in the office was on top of everything and kept us on schedule with meeting with all our vendors, making sure we didn't miss anything and that we got everything ordered in a timely manner. What we thought was going to be stressful, literally turned out to be such a fun process because Steve and Jackie were so good to us throughout the process and made us feel like a priority even though they had other projects they were working on at the same time. With Paragon, we noticed a lot of their standards in the build would have been upgrades with other companies so we really got quality product for our money. Steve paid attention to a lot of the details and even pointed out some things that needed to be adjusted that my husband and I would have never noticed. We really appreciated how transparent and honest he was with the entire process. We are excited to see the rest of our plan develop and hope to have many years of happiness in our new home!

They forgot to install rebar on my 4 garage spaces. Therefore, they were sinking in before we ever moved in and had to be redone. I am not sure how a concrete company forgets rebar! Their comprehensive in-house design and build approach was unlike that of other contractors, and their cooperative communication was instrumental in developing and meeting our expectations. They made understanding us and our house equal priorities. They educated us about the condition of the house, brought in an engineer, and designed projects around improving and reinforcing the house. They found and corrected issues created by the house's original builder. They work well coordinating their work with other contractors. With one exception, there were no call-backs. A minor installation error discovered years later was cheerfully and promptly fixed as a warranty item, a reflection on their commitment to their clients. When it came time to sell the house, the quality of their work was a strong draw for the buyers. It drew a crowd. They exemplify how a great team can accomplish great results!

They originally reached out to me asking to take it down. When I refused to do so because I believe that my review reflects my family's experience, the messages kept on coming. At first, she said I shouldn't leave a bad review because I have never dealt with a death in my family (not true & not sure how that is relevant). Then she accused me of writing my review to punish the company and for no other reason. My response was: "Let's be VERY clear here. I'm not "punishing your company". I'm leaving a review of our experience on a site that is meant to leave reviews of people's experiences with different companies. If all owners tried to bully patrons into only leaving good reviews on Yelp... well there would no longer be a Yelp. I'm leaving honest feedback on how it felt to deal with your company. I'm sorry that you don't agree with our assessment, but it's truly how it felt. I'm very glad that we parted ways when we did so that we could work with someone that was much more pleasant to deal with." And she responded back with: "And you reaffirmed ours that "you're not our customer." Because our customers have class." I just wanted everyone to know how this company operates behind the scenes...

Day 2- 9am Ryland & Isaac was accompanied by Justice M. New floor, vanity and touch ups... bathroom completed. New sink & vanity, toilet & floor. What they said would & should happen, did happen and we are very happy at the outcome. 4.5 stars--some mistakes but good in the end…read more West Shore Home is a home-improvement chain that sells and installs bathtubs, showers, windows, and doors. It has locations in dozens of cities across the U.S. This particular location covers the Pittsburgh area. My husband and I wanted to replace our builder-grade bathtub in one bathroom and our shower in another bathroom. Months earlier, my husband's parents had hired West Shore Home to install a shower and a front door, and they felt happy with the service and products, so I contacted West Shore Home for an estimate. That same day, an employee visited our home to provide an in-person estimate. The employee spoke nicely to my husband and me. He spent about one hour doing measurements and discussing colors, patterns, accessories (e.g., faucets, grab bars, shelves, footrests, and doors), etcetera. The original price for both the bathtub and the shower was over $37,000, but after several discounts, the final price was about $26,000, which was slightly lower than what a competing business had quoted. My husband and I signed a contract for this work to be completed. Over the next few weeks, courteous employees called me to schedule the installations. On the morning of the first installation, an employee called off, so I had to reschedule for another day. Two polite employees installed the bathtub in several hours. I thought that they did a great job with installing this bathtub. I felt surprised to learn that the bathtub was the Jacuzzi brand. The salesperson said that West Shore Home uses a few brands. Days later, two different employees spent several hours installing the shower. Unfortunately, the employees incorrectly installed the faucet for the shower, so the left-sided sun was for cold water, and the right-sided snowflake was for hot water. Because I was not supposed to get the shower wet until the adhesive and caulk had dried, I did not immediately discover this mistake. I contacted the business, and days later, another employee spent about 10 minutes to fix the direction of the faucet. Unfortunately, the shower faucet had another problem: It leaked and left wet water stains in the kitchen ceiling under the bathroom. I contacted West Shore Home to inquire about a solution. Days later, another employee came out to seal the faucet so that it no longer leaked. Overall, my husband and I think that the bathtub and shower were a bit expensive, but we do enjoy their appearance. I expect this acrylic bathtub and shower to be easy to clean with a soft cloth and a gentle cleaner (West Shore Home recommends Scrub Free, Fantastik, 409, Glass Plus, non-ammonia Windex, vinegar-water, and Kaboom!). I hope that the bathtub and shower work well for decades. We did receive a limited-lifetime manufacturer's product and workmanship warranty through BCI Acrylic Bath Systems, Inc.
