There are a limited amount of spaces in front with zero room to maneuver your car to fit in a space. There is a public lot right next door for a fee and hopefully you'll get a space. We were in the Waterfront King Suite. The room was lovely and had a great view!! However, getting hot water was inconsistent. We had noisy neighbors who we could hear using the hairdryer at 6:42am, and shouting down the hall and slamming their door at 7:30am. At 10:45pm there were sounds like chairs being dragged over hardwood for about 30 minutes. They do give you an opportunity to order breakfast that is delivered to your room and a time you specify. However, both days I had rancid milk for my coffee. I wrote a note to the staff after the first morning, and they served spoiled milk to me again on the second morning!! The food was also vastly under seasoned. I ordered the quinoa bowl both days and got two totally different dishes. And, my wife's potatoes were completely burnt. So for the money we spent on the room, I cannot recommend this place due to parking, noise, and food quality.

I tried the dueling mules cocktail and loved the addition of strawberry syrup in your typical Moscow mule. For food, we got deviled eggs, the Moroccan chicken, skewers, and the pork belly. All of it was delicious. The deviled eggs were some of the best I've ever had. Would definitely go again!

We started at the bar waiting for a table and the bartender was friendly and helpful as we perused the menu. We sampled several small plates (lamb kebab, chicken skewer,...) which were tasty. Loved the roof top with comfy seating options and heaters as the night air gave us a chill. Worthy of Five Stars.

We had to park in the back on the loading zone, drop off our stuff, and then park our car. The loading zone was tiny and next to a busy ice cream stand, so you'll need to be extra cautious when going in and out of there since there are a lot of blind spots and oncoming traffic may miss you! Room: The room itself was very clean, despite it clearly being in an older/historic building. The only complaint I have is that the room had that musty smell (probably due to the humidity of the area being so close to the harbor). Amenities: The gym was very clean, and had everything I was looking for during my trip! A couple cardio machines and free weights were available for use. Water bottles were complimentary! Breakfast: There was a complimentary hotel breakfast in the mornings. I was pleasantly surprised at how good the selection was for a tiny hotel! The food was also good!

It has wonderful harbor views and is a short stroll to downtown shops and restaurants. We spent 3 glorious nights in the New Amsterdam Suite. The suite is quite simply huge with a fireplace in a large sitting room and separate bedroom (with a king size feather bed) plus a bathroom as large as an airplane hanger. The suite has two private porches and windows with spectacular views everywhere. While the structure is 140+ years old, it has modern and luxurious furnishings. The lounge is filled with jars of old-time candies. If you have a sweet tooth, this space is close to heaven on earth. As impressive as the inn is, it pales in comparison to the staff. They keep the inn spotless and running efficiently. Special shoutouts to Sara, Sam, and Hope. These ladies made our stay magical. Their attention to detail made it feel as if we were the only guests on the property. Our visit did have one negative and it was a BIG one. We had to leave!!!! Can't wait to come back for another visit.

They welcomed us to the Inn, gave us a tour and some fresh baked cookies. When we came downstairs in the morning Lauren had set out coffee and fresh baked crumpets. Since we are avid hikers Greg recommended the Mount Battie trail which is within walking distance from the hotel. As we were heading off for our hike, Lauren provided us with more fresh baked cookies still warm from the oven. Greg and Lauren made us feel right at home as did their son Elliott. Elliott has a true entrepreneurial spirit and is very knowledgeable about the Inn and the area despite his young age. It was a pleasure staying here.

My wife and I stayed here four nights recently and used this location to not only spend time in Camden, but to visit other nearby towns like Rockland, Bath, Brunswick, Rockport, and Belfast. Don't forget to visit the Cellar Door Winery in neighboring Lincolnville. Everything worked in our Snug Harbor Suite to perfection. Housekeeping did a great job each morning cleaning and replacing whatever was needed. The innkeepers, Matt and Michelle are warm and some of the nicest people you will ever meet. From the moment we booked our reservation, they began making us part of their family. Just talking to them and some of the other guests about life was relaxing and therapeutic. One of us has significant food restrictions and was just inquiring about the menu posted online and whether there had been additions or changes. He acted as if this was an insulting or outrageous question and that we should have known that this has been the menu all summer. Having just arrived here we of course, did not know that and when we explained, he doubled down and asked why we would ever think that the menu posted online wasn't the current menu. We said we have frequently been to restaurants whose online menu does not always list what's available on any particular evening. He continued to insist that what we were asking made no sense to him. When we said that unfortunately we would have to cancel because there was nothing on the menu that would fit into the required diet he said he would be charging us $25 per person for the cancellation. We then explained that we thought we had a good reason to cancel and asked him to waive that. His response was to say that if we had been more remorseful, he would have waived the fee. It was as if he was blaming us for his rude behavior. At that point, we thanked him and ended the conversation. At that point, we thanked him and ended the conversation. I believe the outside was newly painted as well. The little creek that runs under the inn is cute. The place is not pet friendly. Contains about 9 rooms. Paid $155 for the night on a Saturday in September during covid. The reason I removed 2 stars is because there was no check-in process & needs some updates for sure. When we arrived there was no one there but our key was left outside in an envelope. Now I understand not having a desk attendant all day because there is only 9 people checking in, max. However, I couldn't find an email anywhere that stated the check-in process. I assume crime is very low in the area so I guess my key being out is ok. As others mentioned, the rooms are decorated with items you would see in your grandma's house. Since it was covid, there is no breakfast or anything. I understand not serving due to covid but other B&B's found ways to improvise. I was disappointed that there was not even a Keurig or small coffee pot in the room. No bottled water left or anything to help. Just a note that said to not use the dishes in the kitchen & bags of ice in the freezer. Other B&B's along the Maine coast had coffee in room & served grab-n-go breakfast items for about the same price paid here. I'm sure the family that owns this is nice, local people so I feel bad for not giving 5 stars but I have to be honest. Was trying to support local rather than a chain hotel.
