Our dearest yellow lab (Peanut) was put to rest on Friday at Cedar Creek in Williamston. I went in a week and a half before and Dr. Derek Nolan sat with me for almost an hour talking to me about my precious Peanut and the pros and cons to putting him to rest. Dr. Nolan has so much compassion for animals AND their families that I have ever seen in any human or pet doctor. He cares SO deeply about animals and their well-being. Dr. Nolan is also incredibly knowledgeable not only about animals physical health, he also takes into consideration their emotional health when treating them. I called there at almost 5pm on Friday and Dr. Nolan stayed after hours to nurture us through putting our Peanut to rest. He was so caring and supportive as my husband and I went through an extremely stressful and devastating experience. Had an obvious health issue with our leopard gecko and found Cedar Creek to be a vet for reptiles as well as other pets. We got an appointment the next day and they seemed to zero in on what was wrong right away. The office was organized, we did not wait long, and the staff was friendly and very helpful. The whole visit went very well. The price seemed reasonable although I don't have a good comparison. Overall I would definitely recommend this vet clinic. There were no animals waiting in the waiting room so it seemed well run with minimal wait time. I will return for sure, as this seems like a great place for pet health. read more

Best veterinarian office I've ever been to. All of the staff is so friendly and welcoming and helpful. You can tell they really love what they do and they care about your pets and their health. I called Cedar Creek and was able to get in immediately to treat an infection in my pet's eye. Staff was courteous and professional, getting just the essentials before treating our fancy mouse. We were shown how to administer oral anti-inflammatories and antibiotics and eye drops to our tiny mouse, while our four year old watched. We left with all needed medications and trainings. Staff was gentle with little Taylor, who has recovered and is back to the mouse life. We even received a followup call. We have cats, dogs, fish, frogs, and mice - and definitely will keep this vet at the top of our list. Very knowledgable, focused, thorough, gentle, and fast - for a very fast patient. read more

Brought in my new rescue pup today when my mom was bringing in our bird just to ask some questions about prices and maybe find out his age Doc. Beasley did all his vaccines and checkup as a walk in the staff was very friendly and gave him lots of love and treats, I have never had such an easy time at the vets with a dog especially a 2 year old hyper pit bull. read more

My 2 yr old rabbit fell seriously ill late at night, after contacting MSU and being told that the vet there didn't know how to treat a rabbit, I called Cedar Creek to get ahold of an after hours vet. After leaving a couple messages, we heard nothing back. My rabbit died a few hours later. What was just as upsetting was that they didn't even return the call in the morning to see if there was anything they could do. Not a lot of compassion. Both very disappointing. read more

The staff at Cedar Creek is the best. They are highly competent,and they make you and your pet feel like you are part of "their family." This is THE veterinary clinic to go to for not only cats and dogs, but exotic pets such as rabbits, ferrets,hamsters, birds, fish, turtles, lizards, etc. You name it, they know how to care for whatever pet you have. We have been taking our cat to Cedar Creek for almost 4 years and just recently started bringing our newly adopted cat about 4 months ago. They truly deserve the highest of praises! Every step of your visit you will be met with professionalism, kindness, expertise, and understanding. From the front desk staff, to the vet techs, to the actual veterinarians; every single person we've encountered has been wonderful. My cat Boots is a menace at the vet sometimes, and they handle her so well! I am so grateful a vet practice like this exists. We travel over 30 minutes each way to come to Cedar Creek because they're the best (even though there are 5 vets within 5 miles of our home)!
