I recently purchased a straw Stetson for summer but wanted another straw option with a wide brim. I chose a Mexican palm Charlie Horse. I love this brand and Lainey's collab with them. The price point on this brand is always very friendly and you can grab several for the price of other hats. Service was exceptional. Very very cute store with such an impressive selection. I love all their hat accessories and jazzed up even a simple straw hat with a couple cute little additions. They do branding, have a ton of bands, ribbons and more. Such a fun stop. Highly recommend! I was greeted right away by a sales associate. She was very helpful. Only took me a few minutes to pick one out. Then Cameron came out and shaped it beautifully while having some friendly conversation. It's like stepping back in time. Just like the straw I got, I have been admiring the handywork of the hat shapers there. I took a risk by ordering an unconventional color but the green looks great in different lighting and compliments just about every shirt I wear with it. Depending on the lighting it looks between gray, black, and green. A versatile and good looking hat that I plan on keeping for a while. American Hats for whatever reason tend to run small in felts, so order the next size up that you would wear with the straw. These hats ain't cheap so be prepared to drop quite a bit of money. Consider it an investment well worth the price.

hubs and i had a fun time shopping at wild bill's. raymond gave us the western boots 101 and to…read moreadd to the fun, beverages (alcoholic and non-alcoholic) are complimentary. he was patient with us and showed us options that fit what we were looking for. hubs was able to quickly find a pair of boots he liked. everything is on display, there are no back stock so if there are things you like in your size, you're in luck. it seems it's difficult for them to quickly find the original boxes for the boots so he ended up getting a random womens boots box with his purchase for storage. no biggie. the store is split into mens footwear on the left including a custom hat bar, womens footear to the right, and clothing in the middle and back, with some selections for children. wild bills is a great place to start if you're looking to get some western wear as souvies!
