So I was there to follow up on that. The provider looked and said I was low previously, which I was never told about even though i had mentioned i had a history of anemia, and he then did more blood work to check recent numbers. We spoke at length about how i had to have a transfusion in the past because i cant tolerate supplements. After a few days, i didn't get any results so i called to see if they had them in yet. The person who answered the phone looked and said i was low again, and told me the provider said to take the things i told him i couldnt take. I told this person that and i ended up getting put on hold and another person came on the line who was very rude and i told her the same thing. She said they would give a message to the doctor. So this is multiple times they ran bloodwork and they dont even tell you about the results or problems. They refuse to send it to other doctors. They disregard their incompetence and they are dismissive and rude when called. It has been weeks of no answers or help. I am just going to find another primary care physician since i can not trust or rely upon this office whatsoever. ​

Instead of giving me any paperwork knowing I had come in for an urgent need, all she did was complain about me coming in late (I had completed my paperwork earlier online, SURPRISE!), and that my insurance is ineligible( I have already been billed $15 in patient portal). In my appointment time slot for 30 minutes starting 3:15pm I am still standing waiting to even get paperwork. She also kept referring to the doctor already seeing someone else and being busy (in my time slot). 15 minutes of me just listening to her complain about how it's my fault and no compassion whatsoever. When I asked for the person I initially booked with on the phone I was told that lady (from the call) had already told her (front desk) all she needed to know. They could have just told me they didn't have an appointment. Instead I was treated like a joke with an urgent medical need. I am booked for a later date again already billed, and my paperwork completed online. I don't know if I will go back.

However, my biggest issue that seems to be becoming worse as time goes by is the inaccurate coding for our visits that leave me with higher bills and unnecessary copayments. Every time I take one of my children in for a simple flu shot, it gets charged as a sick visit and I receive a bill. Even when I try to address the problem before the appointment! I then have to call billing and explain there is no copay for preventative care. It gets taken care of, but it's seriously every single time. I also feel as though they use "creative" charges to "up sell" annual well-visits. At my daughter's last well-visit, we ended up with a copay because the new dr wasn't comfortable with one of the results. Then I had to schedule a follow-up (with yet another copay) only to have the regular doctor ask me "why is she here, she passed everything". It's a tough decision to stay any longer because I trust their care but not their business practices.

It takes countless phone calls to even get someone on the phone (legitimately 15 phone calls one afternoon to try and schedule a refill), the wait times have exceeded 2 hours in the waiting room (Maria has apologized personally for these waits), and if you go online to try and schedule an appointment with Maria you'll find she has no availability for over a month out which necessitates the 15 phone calls to schedule an appointment. I spoke with a receptionist about an appointment recently for 2:15pm and told her that I needed to be back home (5 mins away) for a 3:30 work call and she told me, "that won't happen". Assuming a 15-20 minute wait, a 15-20 minute appointment, and 5 minutes to check out, I'd love to know where the other 30 minutes comes from that would prevent me from back in time? Their focus has become "Cool Sculpting" and now "Cavallaro Aesthetics and Wellness" meaning the focus is now on "non-invasive fat reduction procedures". That's simply not a practice I'm interested in being a part of.

They're great with referrals also which is a big deal for some offices it seems. Not here. Anything THEY can do in office they gladly do. No shipping you out unless they have to which is also great.
