The salon quality went down quickly when they offered cheaper blowout packages. Appointments would be switched and not notified. The number of blow outs I had would change all the time. There was no tracking that was consistent. There were fewer people available for blowout on weekends. Always has to go after work on a weekday or make appointments weeks & months amount. I went into color bar today and Laura was my stylist for the blowout I received. She was very friendly, personable and good at what she does. I actually really liked my hair and I have curly, long, thick hair. I signed up for the dry bar membership which includes unlimited blowouts. I think you definitely get your money's worth. It is a one year contract that it going to auto renew each year. I think they should waive the $50 enrollment fee if you sign up your first visit. There is also a $50 fee each year. The good news, if you refer someone that signs up you get that month free. Overall, pretty good experience. *note: very difficult to get appointments. They should have more hours and also they need more stylists. They should work on this. Also, you can use your membership at the location in Spring Lake. read more

I went here hoping to replicate color application I received in Florida. Stylist could not follow formula because it was not a Wella product. I received a root treatment, partial foil, glaze( not requested) and blow out. I expected ( prices were not posted or discussed) to pay within the hundred dollar range. The coloring process took 35 minutes and I spoke to the stylist for approximately 10 min. I was charged 215. There was no follow up as to customer satisfaction. My hair color and service was far below the price charged. I will not be returning and would not recommend this salon to clients who wish a special or professional color expert. read more

Have been coming here for years with the membership. Usually there are no issues getting an appointment with reasonable advance notice. Betsy is the best for my color and cut - I have long hair and usually don't like getting it trimmed because places cut off too much - she understands and only takes off a little bit if that's what you want. Joined their "club". Unlimited blowouts monthly for $75 Although there's at least 20 stylist stations I've never seen more than 5 stylists working on any of the days I had a blow out. This is obviously what makes it sooooo difficult to get an app. I needed to make the Appointments well in advance. Impossible to ever get an appt the day of. Was penalized for being 15 minutes late and lost an appt and was not able to book another for 5 days. It's funny because they greatly frown and penalize you on any kind of lateness but on one visit after I was shampooed my stylist still had to blow out another clients hair who's color had just been rinsed out and I had to wait 15 minutes with a soaking wet head. They limit you on how many appointments you can make in advance. Twice I went and was told my appointments were earlier in the day and I "missed" it Odd because I keep all appts in my calendar as I made them. Tried three different stylists. Was only satisfied with one. I Get a straight blow out. Pretty simple but When I asked Laura do please flat iron after she blew it out she was reluctant and said she didn't recommend it because my hair was so dry. Lol. She reluctantly did it without sectioning it and just scooped up big sections of my hair and needs less go say my hair was a frizzy mess a few hours later. I've been having my hair professionally blown out by skilled stylists for years and never had my hair frizz up till I washed it again even in the most humid weather. Once when I was 10 minutes late the stylists said she didn't have time to Section my hair & blow it by sections and just swung the hair dryer around by head till it was almost dried and ran the flat iron thru it quickly. Mind you I was her last appointment and not holding up anyone who may have been waiting. She had a Bad attitude and made it really uncomfortable. All this and I still tipped her $20 because she had such an attitude and made me feel guilty & I thought that maybe I held her up from something important by being 12 minutes late. Mind you after I tipped her, another stylists asked my stylist what her plans for the night were and she replied she was just going home and relaxing. I finally decided to cancel my membership and according to paperwork I signed it said I had to give 2 months notice to do so. So I assumed I had 2 months left on my membership and had an appt scheduled on 7/13. When I called that afternoon to confirm it they told me I didn't have an appt. Then I was put on hold for 12 minutes and when a woman returned to my call she said all the appointments I had upcoming had been cancelled including the one I had on that day because they assumed I wasn't returning because I had cancelled my membership. I don't understand how they can think it's ok to take a customers money and then take it upon themselves to cancel appointments without notifying the customer. So basically they took my payment in June and cancelled all my upcoming appointments. I was told I had missed a few appointments and they tried to call me several times. I did miss one appt. But I never received a call or message from them. I guess it was the convenient thing so say to justify why they had the nerve to cancel the appts I made. I feel that I should be credited back for the last membership payment they took since they took it upon themselves to cancel all the appts I was entitled to for that month. Pretty much almost every single employee with the exception of one of the shampoo girls were nasty. Why so miserable ??? Such a turn off. I guess I would have sucked it up if I was happy with the results and if it wasn't so hard to get appointments but honestly it was a waste of my money and effort I'd rather spend a little extra and be satisfied and not treated like I was a nuisance for patronizing a salon. After my wife's third bad appointment there we canceled her membership. Appointment availability is terrible. She made an appointment with a specific stylist twice and twice was sent to someone else because her requested person was not even working that day. The color they put in her hair looks good on her hair. Not much so on her forehead and shirt though. read more

I had my hair colored here after I had my cut. My highlights were God awful. The man who did my hair did not know what he was doing, even after I showed him a picture of what i wanted - he gave me something totally different. he told me that he couldn't get my hair as light as i wanted it. Let me be clear, I had a consult for this color before setting an appointment. So i was stuck coming back in sessions.which took about 4-5 hour for some darn highlights each time. The Color and color placement was absolutely terrible. I had to get my color corrected by someone else - who did somewhat of a better job than him, but nothing spectacular. After they were done coloring my hair they handed me off to someone to blow my hair out - she had no clue what she was doing. Probably right out of school. It took her 30 minutes to blowdry one section of my hair. I asked her to stop. I blow dry my hair way better than that and in less time. Also, on top of bad service i had to listen to their gossiping. Its not good for business to discuss personal problems that customers don't care to hear. Maybe if they paid more attention to their customers - they would be able to provide better services. So after spending over 500 dollars, not including tips - my hair is badly damaged and i have a bad taste in my mouth from that place. Oh, and they also don't use permanent dye unless asked - it would be nice to know that so customers could have the option. it would explain why my color never lasted!!!!!! stay awayy from this place !!!! read more

Signed up as a member a year ago when it first opened. Very dissatisfied with their business. There was only one descent stylist at this location which did no good because there were hardly ever available appointments. I would literally have to make appointments 2 months before. When I would come in they sometimes wouldn't have time to do or finish what was set to do my hair and tell me to come back. At first there dye was OK but then a few months later it changed and was absolutely terrible...my blonde wasn't the same anymore and my hair would fall out...a lot of times my hair wouldn't take and would have to make an additional appointment to repeat the same process and it was damaging my hair. After my year membership was coming up I was told that i wouldn't be charged again and two months later they start charging my card again even more money of what they were charging me before and refused to refund me my full amount besides that they were very rude and unprofessional with me. read more
