Went in today not knowing anything and the customer service was amazing they helped me set everything up gave me water and if I had any questions they happily helped me. The doctor and staff 10/10. read more

I love this office, amazing staff, they make you feel all welcome and comfortable in every visit. Martha is excellent, very kind, warm, friendly and on top of that, Martha is very helpful and make my billing issue so brain-free. Sandra and both doctors Nguyen have made me feel the most comfortable I have ever had in years on a dentist's chair. I feel like home each time coming to the office. They help me in anyway they could. Very genuine. I highly recommend this office to anyone who is in need of a good dentist office. read more

Dr. Trinh and staff are amazing! They are wonderful at confirming appointments, following up and making sure you feel at home. I have been to several dentists in the past with the usual professional treatment, however, Dr. Trinh really cares about my teeth! I met him several years ago and was reluctant to make the change. Who likes change right? But thank goodness, I made the right decision to go to him. After a year of regular cleaning, I felt the most horrible pain in my jaw! I figure it would go away naturally but the pain worsened to the point of agony. An appointment was set for the emergency oral surgery. I had a root canal over ten years ago, so initially I thought there was complications with that tooth. Dr. Trinh said it was fortunate that it was a different tooth, because it is easier to perform a root canal than correct one. For the record, I am a big baby when it comes to surgery! I am afraid of needles, sharp objects and anything linked to surgery. I had a root canal and all my wisdom teeth removed in my 20's...is there a need to endure more pain? Dr. Tuan performed the first and Dr. Trinh finished the root canal procedure in two days. I looked like a chipmunk and ate soup for days but the pain subsided quickly. I was only on meds for two days. As a skeptic, I asked questions and Dr. Trinh was very informative. I was concerned since root canals are not common among my friends. Crowns are extremely expensive, expecially the one I received from Dr. Trinh. He gave me a great deal! It looks and fits beautifully! Since then, I have been coming in regularly for exams and cleaning. Some may complain that they do not need the deep cleaning and regular cleaning works as well, but I believe it is beneficial in the long run. I do not floss daily and can tell my gums are unhealthy. I certainly don't want my teeth to get to the point of no repair so what harm does it do? According to WebMD, deep scaling combined with root planing is one of the most effective ways to fight gum disease. Give me the deep cleaning! read more

I never thought I'd say a trip to the Dentist was enjoyable but here it is. We had an appointment for both my children and the staff was kind, caring and accommodating. Martha and Jen at the front desk were very helpful and I was pleasantly surprised to see the steps that were taken to sanitize even the waiting room between each patient. And Sandra from the back was very kind and patient towards my nervous kids. All around great experience! read more

I had a great experience the times I have come in. Everyone is super friendly and professional. The staff is amazing. They explain everything that they are gonna do and take away any concerns that you may have. I go back soon to get another deep cleaning and I have no worries and that they will take great care of me. read more

I'm so impressed with the service, professionalism, and the caring personnel. I was highly recommended to them. Every single person was amazing, caring and helpful. Martha, made me feel so comfortable and explained everything and truly made me feel that they were there to make me comfortable and that my needs were met. I always stress when I have dental work because of anesthetic issues (wears out too soon). Dr Kang and Sandra made sure I was ok the whole time, taking their time and giving me breaks. Truly amazing! Did not feel a thing. I highly recommend CDIC.. read more

Martha and Sandra and the rest of the staff are just incredible. Who ever does their marketing should get a raise because they send an email for every occasion including my birthday. We're looking forward to the day at the park. Thank you read more

Among other things, I've had a root canal and a crown or two replaced at this office. Dr. Tuan and Dr. Trinh have both worked on my teeth and both take the time to explain everything they need to do. They are gentle and always ask, "How are you doing" or " Are you doing ok?" throughout whatever procedure they're doing. They both have a terrific bedside manner and take the time to just chit chat and make you feel comfortable. I never feel like just a number or that I don't really matter to them. Their staff follows suit...friendly, caring, and knowledgeable! I have no clue as to what prompted "Bruce L's" horrible rating on 2/18/12. I think if you're going to write a rating (especially a bad one), you should be professional and explain the reason. However, I doubt that a reasonable person would let a low rating with no explanation have any bearing on their decision regarding the business being rated. read more

I've been coming to CDIC for years. I've always hated going to the dentist but all of the staff and doctors are very friendly and make me feel very comfortable for any procedure I've had done. I've had a fear of the dentist since I can remember. As a child I was in foster care and didn't receive the best dental care growing up. This means I have lots of work that needs to be done. I see many complaints about services being offered beyond what you walked in for. This seems to be an absurd reason to complain. Dentist aren't tires sales men, they are doctors and will advise as appropriate. Anyways, both my sons and I seen Dr. Tuan Nguyen. He was very personable and honest. It appears to be standard process to generate a treatment plan for all patients which I'll again assume is a best practice. Yes, hearing all the suggestions felt shameful but it's not appropriate for a medical expert to simply do what you ask for. The office didn't pressure me to have all the procedures done, they provided the patient education and left the decision making to me. They use current equipment and I'm very impressed with their office software and the actual use of it. As I said, I hate the dentist but have finally found a dental office and dentist which puts me at ease and has my full confidence! read more

I love coming in to get my dental work done! Dr Twan, and his team deliver the best customer service experience I've ever had. I just want to give a shout out to all the people who work there; Martha, Veronica and Sandra, you all make me feel like family, and I really appreciate you all so much! I'll never want to go to another dentist again! Thanks Dr Twan for being an awesome doctor! And last but not least thank you for lending an ear when I've needed it and for all the help read more

The visits that I've had recently with CDIC have been great. Being a new patient, the process was fast and Jen helped out with all of my questions. Sandra and Dr. Kang were very professional, polite, and so gentle with the services I received. They provided me with water as well and great care. Lastly you have Martha whom was so nice with the scheduling, and also took care of my questions. This location and staff are a great team and I am very happy that i found them. read more

I just wanted to take a second and say a huge thank you to the staff at CDC. I love taking care of my teeth, but over the years my teeth have had to be last in line due to my families dental needs coming first. So coming here finds me in need of a good amount of dental work. Sandra and doctor Nguyen have made me comfortable during all of my procedures so far while Martha and Veronica have helped work with my budget to get my dental needs met. Thanks to you all I am getting closer to having my beautiful smile back. read more

Been going here for a few years and it's gone downhill since it got taken over by a new group. Recently I went in for some severe pain in a tooth they put a crown on a while back. Instead of doing ANYTHING for the pain, the doc tried INSISTING to me that I needed Invisalign for over $5k & filled a small cavity that had NOTHING to do with the tooth that was giving me pain. Went and saw a new dentist the following day. IMMEDIATELY was given a prescription for antibiotics due to an infection leading to a root canal. Thank God for competent and non-greedy doctors. They also were SUPER PUSHY about needing the "deep clean" for like $135 (sorry if that # isn't accurate, I can't remember right now. They are also really aggressive with their calling. They called what seemed like a few times a month to "schedule your appointment" ... even though I had asked repeatedly not to call. I would highly recommend steering clear of this office. read more

The dentist is never fun for me but I genuinely look forward to coming here. Martha, Sandra, Jen, and Kelly make every experience a great one. They're always so friendly and communicative with every process from insurance to the actual dental work. Can I give three thumbs up?? read more

I'm a full time caregiver to my father who had a horrid stroke in January 2019. My father needed a dentist who would be able to assist his dental needs. His dental care insurance isn't all that great and paying out of pocket has been economically strenuous on us. Selecting a dentist to assist my fathers dental health was hard. But the minute I spoke to Jen on the phone, I knew that this was the place for my father's difficult situation. She was so friendly, genuine, patient, and warm over the phone. The dental assistance Sandra was imperative in assisting my father and walking him through slowly (he uses a walker) into the chair as Dr. Kang walked me through and showcased to me my father's oral and dental situation. Martha and Liz gave me options as they patiently discussed with me the avenues I could take. My father's anxieties lessened as Dr. Kang and Sandra worked on his teeth. He wasn't scared and I truly appreciate that care and passion from this team and overall efforts for their patients. Thank you CDIC in Brea for everything. You are all very blessed and we are blessed to have you as our beloved's dental team. read more

DON'T GO HERE! I just read the comments by Amanda M. and had a very similar experience. I didn't need other work; just wanted a routine cleaning since I wasn't having any dental problems. After being told my insurance was accepted, we scheduled a cleaning and I came in for my appt. Sat in the chair, and got my X-rays. Then I was told the story Amanda got. Sorry, you can't have a regular cleaning covered by your plan; you need the special cleaning and irrigation which will be $175 extra. I couldn't believe it! First I'm told my insurance is accepted, but then I am refused the promised covered service and denied cleaning without an expensive, out of pocket and completely unnecessary service. In my opinion this should be stopped. FOLLOW UP: Two checkups since this incident, by other dentists in Brea and Fullerton. Both dentists told me my oral hygiene was FINE and I did NOT need a deep cleaning. I've had two fillings total EVER and no cavities for over 35 years. So I KNEW these guys were wrong. Based on recent yelps it looks like they are still playing the same games. read more

Never know what to say...had a lot of bad dentists. This is the place to go. No pain, but that's basic. Everyone here is great. Made my billing and insurance issues easy. read more

I would give this place 0 stars. DO NOT go here. The CDIC's main priority is not patient care, but rather how much money they can get out of you. They are the epitome of an unethical practice. I had my first appointment here and I left in tears. When I booked my appointment with them, I was told that some services may not be covered through my insurance. So I thought "okay, I'll just elect not to have those services." During my appointment, after briefly meeting with the dentist, the office admin told me I was going to have to pay out of pocket for an additional service not covered by my insurance that they were recommending. I told her I don't want that service, just the standard treatment. She then said they would not perform the standard treatment (which is covered by insurance) unless I payed for this more advanced treatment. I told her again that I didn't want this extra service because I would like to do more research on what exactly they were recommending before paying this ridiculous amount. She continued to push me until I finally conceded. At this point, I was visibly upset with tears in my eyes and felt like I was being taken advantage of. Even though you could blatantly tell I was upset, the admin proceeded to pressure me. I was completely uncomfortable, which is something you should never feel as the customer. read more

I had 2 fillings done here. My experience with the dental assistant and the dentist (I don't have her name but she was a female) was excellent. They made me feel comfortable and at ease. I was nervous because I had not gone to the dentist in months and knew I needed a lot of work done. After the dentist explained the procedures I needed done, she had Martha, who handles the billing, speak to me. She seemed very genuine and friendly. However, she NEVER gave me a treatment plan and when she explained the pricing to me she wasn't detailed at all. She said my fillings were 180 each. I thought it was strange because my sister has the same insurance and she only paid 50 for her fillings. Well, I was eager and had the work done anyway. The day after I had so many questions, I went back and forth wondering if I had been overcharged and I WAS. She charged me an extra 130 dollars PER filling for a desensitizer. Hm, weird the dentist never explained that she would be applying that that nor was I told that it was OPTIONAL until after I had it done and I asked. I told Martha I was not in a good financial situation as I am a student and only working part time. Well? Let's charge her extra for an optional desensitizer anyways! I asked so many questions and finally spoke to her again to tell her she OVERCHARGED ME! The densensitizer, that I did not even ask for, is covered under my insurance and my copay is 10 dollars for it. What did she say? "Oh. I didn't know it was covered under your insurance, most don't cover it" OKAY? WELL, maybe you should have checked before you did! I would have lost 240 dollars I don't have, because of her poorly done, unethical work. Just recently, I had called Thursday about work I needed done. Martha was busy with a patient. Veronica said she would have her call me back. There were 2 hours before they closed. Did she call me back? NOPE! So, I called today. She said she was busy but would get to it in a few minutes. She didn't put me on hold just hung up. An hour later I call back, I finally get to speak to her. ALL I WANTED were the codes for the work I needed done so I could reference my insurance schedule. How difficult would that be? She made it incredibly difficult. She says to me, "I feel like you're not trusting me." UHM, Yeah I might after you overcharged me for something that was covered under my insurance. I'm the patient. I deserve to know what I'm being charged for and what is being done before the fact NOT AFTER. Anyways, she gives me the codes incredibly quickly. I couldn't even write them down entirely but I have had enough of her. Totally given up on her. She is so sweet on the outside but is dishonest and lacks transparency. The two other staff members I encountered were wonderful. read more

My dentist experience here has been awesome since day one. I was a little nervous but doctor Tuan Nguyen and entire staff Veronica, Martha, and Sandra were very nice and professional. Drills, Buzzing, Waiting Room, These words would bring fear to me as a child but after visiting this place I no longer fear the dentist, the atmosphere is welcoming and the staff really takes the time to get to know you. We had come in for denture repair and Martha and Veronica greeted us very warmly, giving us an I-pad to sign in and offered us delicious muffins and coffee while we took a seat in the spacious waiting room, the sign in had only taken about 5 min, they had called in my mother, who is a stroke survivor, and usually it seems like some places are unequip or unprepared for situations like ours but CDIC were extremely kind, professional and made my mom as comfortable as possible, Special thanks to Sandra for being as gentle as possible while taking the denture mold, we would also like to thank you to Dr. Tuan Nguyen D.D.S for a wonderful dental visit and the staff for making us feel welcome would recommend to anybody. -The Palafox Family read more
