We hired Summit to address rodents in our attic. When we continued hearing squeaking and gnawing, one employee suggested it was a bathroom exhaust fan--even though the bathroom didn't even have an exhaust fan. We ultimately paid Summit to perform exclusion work, but the following year a rodent got into the exact same area. When I asked Summit to inspect their prior work, they refused, saying they had "made a business decision not to accept additional work at our property." We have always had good experiences with contractors and actually had a great relationship with our Summit technician (Justin was great!). But when the problem proved challenging, Summit chose not to help. If you have a pest problem that requires follow-through and accountability, I would look elsewhere. In response to Bill below...these were their exact words: "Both technicians are certain the noise is caused by the bearing in your bathroom fan. The noise would not be that consistent and mechanical in nature. If it were rodents, at this point, they would be dead."

As soon as we saw the moths emerging we cleaned, put out traps and still had moths. So I called almost in tears EcoCare pest solutions. From the first phone conversation in making the appointment for a tech to come out, I felt assured that over time, the moth problem would be history. David came to my condo and spent almost an hour going through my kitchen (it's tiny) and said I didn't need to spray. He gave advice, told me I was doing the right steps and in about 6-8 weeks, the moths would be gone. And if it became worse he would be over immediately and spray. I called to ask for more information about their services and they answered all of my questions without any pressure to sign up. I appreciated that they explained in advance which products they would use and gave me a realistic timeline on how quickly we'd see results. Once I signed up, they were able to send someone within a few days. Their service technician Brad showed up right at the start of the 2 hour window and he was truly courteous and professional. He told us which products he was using and how they worked, and gave us a fact sheet as well as some pre-baited traps to use if we saw more ant activity inside the home. He also removed wasp nests and even filled a small hole in the crawlspace vent on the exterior of our house, which I feel was really going above and beyond. After the service was complete, I got an email with all of the details of what was applied and where, which I think is an excellent practice. It's only been a few weeks since the first treatment, but the number of ants inside our home went down pretty quickly and lately we haven't see any at all. I do understand we may see more as the ants move through their life cycle, but I'm really pleased with the results so far.
