I came here for translation of id documents for an apostille. They wanted me to email them my id documents which seemed really insecure. I went to the store to drop it off only to find they don't actually have anyone in the office. I then was told the documents were ready for pick up only to be emailed an hour later when I was on my way saying the office was closed. I called and when the building was locked found out they were closed for the next 3 days. Although I eventually got what I needed it was so unprofessional that I wouldn't recommend the service to others. read more

This is the worst experience I have ever had with any translation service. I have submitted a document to them and was given a date that it would be ready and as it was an emergency and the date was convenient to me, I agreed and sent the money to pay for the service. I did not even receive a draft. When they finally emailed to let me know it would be late, I reached back telling them that this was an emergency and as they can not complete the task in the time frame they initially said that I would need to contact another translation services. They have not emailed back, and I have not received my money back as I requested. Until today I am still wondering if I just lost that money. THAT IS SO UNPROFESSIONAL, UNETHICAL, SO DISRESPECTFUL. Our experience with CBS compared to a previous service we used: My girlfriend had a very important immigration hearing and needed a Thai interpreter (This is difficult to find a company with a NATIVE Thai speaker. We used another translation service before and the interpreter was Laotian and her spoken Thai was very difficult for my girlfriend to understand). With CBS, we set the appointment up with one phone call and a couple of quick emails. The interpreter (a Thai native) arrived early enough to have a consultation and review the evidence we were to present to the immigration officer. She was professional, courteous, and spoke perfect English as well as Thai. The hearing went well and the case was approved! Also, CBS has a 2 hr minimum, where as other services we contacted had 3 hour minimums, so it was a money saver for our purposes (most immigration hearings are under 2 hours). I found CBS translation through yelp, I needed some translations done from Spanish to English for immigration purposes. For some reason their emails were going to my spam folder but that's not their fault so for anyone not getting their quotes check your SPAM folder first :). I used CBS Translation Services to get my bank statements to be translated from Turkish into English for a loan underwriting process. Of course, I did a Yelp search first and then called four popular services. One of the quotes came higher so I eliminated that one right away. CBS gave a price same as other two companies so my selection criteria came down to the service aspect and how they spoke to me on the phone. CBS translations services are extremely poor: I asked them to do a notarized translation of a birth certificate from French to English.All they do is just copy paste from Google Translate without even proofreading. On the document, it was even written that the translation was made from English to Turkish... In the end I had to do the translation myself and tell them what to write. I took at least 5 emails exchanges so they would fix their errors. I was expecting the quality to be worth the 63 dollars they asked for one single page. Oh... And the notary even forgot to sign one of the documents! read more

I needed to translate a legal document from Egypt for personal use (Arabic to English). CBS Translation Services responded extremely quickly and professionally. I speak Arabic, so I know that the translation was 100% accurate. The fee is $70/page but they aggregate pages so that if there is one line per page, for example, and you have 5 pages, you will not pay 5 * 70. They scanned and emailed me the final document as well as giving me the physical version, which was quick and simple to pick up from their office.
