The whole process was so easy with Anvi on our side. I don't anticipate our situation was extremely out of the ordinary but being homeowners really changes quite a bit of things for me and my family. With the exception of some delays getting some organizations TAX IDs or EINs, Anvi was able to file quickly I received by refund within a week. A WEEK! I will be coming back next year. Just like the other reviews say, you basically upload all your documents on a secured portal and he will get back to you with a draft for you to review before he submits the return. You can't get any more efficient than that. His fees are reasonably priced, and I have no problem paying for the convenience. He also completed the tax declaration for my newly established HOA. My neighbor who worked with Brian was also very happy with the service.

Navigating small business taxes in Chicago can be a headache, but John makes the entire process feel manageable and transparent. The Experience John is incredibly professional but also very personable. Unlike some of the larger, impersonal firms, he actually takes the time to listen to your specific financial situation. He's been in the neighborhood for a long time and clearly knows the ins and outs of both Illinois and federal tax laws. Why I Recommend Him: Responsiveness: He is great about returning calls and emails, even during the peak of tax season. You never feel like just another file on a desk. Accuracy & Insight: He doesn't just "plug in numbers." He looks for proactive ways to help you save on taxes and plan for the next year. Fair Pricing: His fees are very reasonable for the level of expertise and personal attention you receive. Pro Tip His office is conveniently located on Irving Park Road. I'd been afraid to touch them. I'll NEVER try to do my own taxes again. (Plus, I like saying "my accountant"--it makes me feel rich.) I'm sure he doesn't make a habit out of it, but as a brand new client (and not the most lucrative one), it wowed me. It's small-town service in a big old city. I'd recommend Brian to anyone.

Here is why I know that: the email responses I was receiving were usually a 5-7 day late during tax season, they were overwhelmed by the number of customers, my taxes were higher than what I was able to obtain though another CPA. In addition, I requested to be removed from their mailing list back in November 2024 and still receive emails about follow ups and promotions despite me being a customer.
