A lot of the lesser known brands are cheaper. I found a good size pea protein powder for about $30, which is about the same or cheaper than many other places. Another thing making this place better is the service is better. The staff at GNC often have no clue, but here you can ask questions and learn something. I recommend this over the chains. It has comparable prices and better informed employees. This is located next to the Green Papaya restaurant.
