The girls had lots of fun on all of the activities! For our group size it was $10 a kid for 2 hours. The kids definitely got a great workout in and had a great time doing it! You will need to sign a waiver and you will also want to inform your kids to try their best to be safe! One of our kids lost their grip while swinging back and forth on a bar and they fell backwards hitting their head on the ground. There is not much padding on the ground either so it is a very hard impact! A ski or bike helmet would be a good idea for next time! Workout gloves would be great to have as our kids got blisters from doing all of the ropes and bars. Barleycorn's is also conveniently located next door if you want to plan lunch or dinner for a group!

This event kick my butt, and made me realized I'm so out of shape. My little workout routine at home is nothing compared to what they do here at this gym. This is not the traditional gym that you can jump in your treadmill or a machine, and do your workout. To the 2 hours I spent here, the regimen seemed innovative, but at the same time traditional. I like how Joe, the owner seemed supportive and encouraging to the members and guest participants. This is my first time in a gym like this, and I am impressed with the camaraderie that I observed. Since this is my first time he did not even charge me for experiencing a great workout. If you're into challenging your mind and body this is the place for you. I feel intimated at first and making excuses to myself, but the end of the session, I feel proud that I was able to endure the 2 hour event. Let us support our local businesses, and check them out!

Been going here for 3 months now and plan to stick around. I like the size of the classes as well. Shout out to Jackie and Stacey as well. Both are amazing with there energy and making the classes fun. I am particularly fond of Zumba by Jackie and Mary. In addition to that I also like kettleball and strong classes. The studio is also on the MINDBODY app that makes it so easy to schedule classes and keep on track.

From Zumba to belly dancing to yoga to barre there is a variety of group exercise for any level of fitness. New types of classes are offered all the time and Friday happy hours are sometimes a nutritional supplement class or heart thumping neon black light Zumba Glow or Kettlebell AMPD. Men are regulars and often hold the women in awe as we burpee cardio circles around them. (I use we lightly- I don't burpee and give much props to those who do). The location is super convenient to 2 highways (75 or 275) and here is plenty of parking. MYB also offers personal training and fun community outreach events and occasional craft shows on site. Not a lot of early morning classes, but the afternoon and evening classes are well represented. The best way to reserve your spot in a class is to register online using MindBody.

Then I took the yin/restorative class. It was 44 degrees outside, and the studio had the AC running. The room stayed cold the entire 75-minute class. A student asked about turning up the heat and ultimately left early because of it. Multiple people used blankets just to stay warm. The instructor even acknowledged the temperature and suggested we use blankets to cover up--yet the AC continued running and nothing was adjusted. Restorative yoga is supposed to be relaxing and intentional. This felt like the opposite. If the goal was a cold yoga experience, it might be worth making that clear upfront.

I wanted to wait to write this review until I'd taken both a yoga and a workout class. Now that…read moreI've officially completed both (my burning quads can confirm), I can definitely recommend checking out this cute studio! The yoga class (VIN to YIN) I took earlier this week was with Marta - she was kind and helpful - offering several modifications for some of the harder movements throughout the practice. The class itself was mostly moms with a few men mixed in ... which can be a rarity sometimes in the yoga world. I left her class feeling relaxed and recharged. The workout class I took this morning (Full Body Fit) was with Andrea. She is exactly the kind of person you want leading your pilates/barre workout - lots of excited energy. This is a great way to start your morning ... 45 minutes of hard work, then you're already done with your workout for the day! I do feel this studio is lacking some class variety. I understand it may be difficult to fill classes coming out of the pandemic - but if you're looking to take an early morning class or even break up your workday with some yoga, you won't find those options here. I also wish there was a phone number listed somewhere so you could call with questions - the app and the website have very detailed information, but if you ever needed to call for any reason, there's no way to do that without getting your instructor's direct number. That said -- I do love that you can book classes directly through the app. They have a generous cancellation policy of three hours. If you don't have a mat to call your own, they have several ready for you to use.
