They will fix the problems though if you find them. Always inspect new work done by anyone.

The amazing thing is how compassiate he is the work. During the initial visit, he took me for a ride, literally, to other sites he finished. All looked fantastic. I hired the company and he finished the chimney in one day, replacing the underside, which did not exist. They perfectly color matched the house and did a wonderful job cleaning up. He followed up later with a phone call, asking how please I was with the work. I told him that he could bring anybody by to look at the work and compared the house to the chimney. One year and a half later, I called him again for roofing and siding, the whole house. He again whisked me away, to the exact same places. So you know there is no BS in where he worked. I hired him for both again, comparing him with other companies. The rook was finished in one day, cleaned up and all. The siding took nearly two weeks. Siding work is messy, so expect that. I did not. In any case, they worked with me in my daily inspections of the work. If saw something, they corrected it. I had some screens riped. They replaced. I asked to replace the house siding inside my porch. They replaced. NO extra charge. Lastly, he is reasonably priced. I checked. He, again, followed up after the job. He also gave a very long guarantee, in writing. Hire them!!!

I talked to several companies about this job (initially, we weren't sure if we were going to go back with real cedar that was originally on our house or the Nichiha cedar shake) that Russ recommended. I had many questions, and he answered all of them! His crew arrived on time and worked efficiently. My wife and I were initially nervous about how the shake siding would look compared to the real cedar we had before. But as you can see in the pictures, it turned out wonderfully, even better than we expected. Russ immediately followed up to ensure I was satisfied after the job was done. This is our second time using Russ. He also replaced the siding on two of our chimneys a few years ago and did a great job with that as well. They took some pics, showed me the issues and said they would have an estimate on Monday. Monday morning, the estimate arrived, and it included a 14 minute narrated video, and with pointers! The video showed everything wrong, both inside and out. We goy 2 estimates: 1 to fix the current issue and 1 that fixed the issues on all 3 dormers, as well as some cracked wood on the dormer front, which needed replacing. We selected fix all, and they came the next day to fix the inside leaks. Since it was raining off and on, it took a few days before they could finish the outside, but they kept in touch with us the whole time. The outside job took all day and they did a beautiful job. I would hire them again without hesitation.

Slight downgrade on this update. The repairs already wore out from the weather. The boards are…read morealready cracking. I had to repaint and caulk all of their repairs this past week. Did it myself. Made a big mess but I didn't want to wait for them to return. Attached a photo of one of the boards. Repainted all of the repairs with the paint they left. That's when I noticed the watery paint. A good quality latex isn't that watery. The gutters were replaced with leaf barriers in 2017 so that isn't an issue. I think they just tried to save money on the paint job.
