It's a small store, jammed with a variety of tops, skirts, dresses, jeans, purses, shoes and accessories. The prices are on the higher end (for those of you who shop at Target), but within reason (I thought so, anyway). If hate giant departments stores (me), are on the lookout for something a bit different from the mall shops (me) and you're a woman who wears a size 12 or less, then you might want to give this place a go. I know, Papillion isn't exactly the mecca of high fashion in the Omaha area, but there's a little jewel downtown that's worth a visit. I am an African American female in my late 20's. I entered the store and despite being the only person besides the worker in the store I was not greeted. The store was silent, with no music on and the worker didn't once come up to me to ask if I needed any help. However, when a white customer walked in the door she was promptly greeted with a hello and asked if she needed any help. I had found an item I wanted to try on and the worker saw me carrying this item and never asked if I wanted to try it on. I then was forced to try to coat on without a fitting room. AFTER fully trying it on and taking it off, the worker comes up and asks me if I want to try it on. I then told her that was no longer necessary. I am extremely disappointed in the service I received. I am not a person to assume my maltreatment is due to race, however the fact that a white customer received immediate treatment does raise suspicion. I would recommend this store address implicit bias as to their customers.

I had only been to this location once before and it had been awhile so luckily I live fairly close and was able to make a quick shopping trip before work. It pains me to see small business and restaurants holding on to threads this year and holiday season so I love supporting these small shops as much as possible to do my part to keep them going during this terrible pandemic. I love the collection on gentlemen items here, you've got cozy beanies and scarves just as you enter, soft eco-friendly t shirts on the shelves, and really cool nick knacks against the walls. There are carefully selected drinking glasses with Star Wars etched graphics on them, game cards, and a bunch of stuff that just whisper, "this is perfect for a man space." I walked around the small boutique conflicted on what else to give my boyfriend. Olivia Mauch is a standout with the Nebraska volleyball team! Since switching to the Big 10... The football program... Well... Let's just say... It hasn't been as successful as it was in the Big 12... Being a lifelong Iowa State Cyclone fan it doesn't hurt my feeling much to see the University of Nebraska Lincoln to now be known as a volleyball school. Lol It's also proof that someone who "might" lean a little Right can still find something worth buying at Raygun... Still support an Iowa headquartered company...
