Being from the Des Moines metro myself... I'm very familiar with Raygun and didn't realize they had expanded with a location in Old Market! Heck I didn't realize there were KC, Chicago, or Lincoln NE locations either...! My daughter is named Olivia, but goes by Liv so these two Olivia Mauch shirts were fun to see in there! Olivia Mauch is a standout with the Nebraska volleyball team! Since switching to the Big 10... The football program... Well... Let's just say... It hasn't been as successful as it was in the Big 12... Being a lifelong Iowa State Cyclone fan it doesn't hurt my feeling much to see the University of Nebraska Lincoln to now be known as a volleyball school. Lol It's also proof that someone who "might" lean a little Right can still find something worth buying at Raygun... Still support an Iowa headquartered company... And doesn't take life so seriously that they are offended by things they read that they don't necessarily agree with... I won't hold my breath for a "just right of center" collection though. I absolutely adore this place! Whenever I need a pick me up, I go and browse the stickers that they have! They have a wonderful variety of stickers, shirts, signs, coasters, koozies, and cups to pick from! They are union printed and most shirts are under $30! All of their products are worth the money and a majority of their stickers are printed on waterproof material to make sure they stay on your water bottle or laptop! You get a discount if you are a teacher or military as well!! The people working are always very kind and excited to see my dog which I find delightful! read more

Raygun is just an amazing place to celebrate in this town. New and interesting content every time. A very solid pulse on current events, in a humorous take. I have work associates that visit from all over; and Raygun is a great conversation starter to what makes Omaha fun and unique. It's hilarious explaining a sticker like "No Left on Dodge" to an out-of-towners. The options of content, humor, and "medium" is the widest i've ever seen selection-wise. Stickers? Yep. A T-Shirt with Paula Dean riding a stick of butter? Yep. No limits to the imagination. The staff is always friendly and attentive...they also, just let you explore. Dogs are welcome in the store too! The content is very custom. Not expensive by any means but it's quality and it's original. From that standpoint...one of a kind. 3-4 bucks for a sticker that tells the story you want...not prohibitive IMO. Special Note: The store is creative and imaginative; and they print what they feel or desire to express. It's not wholly inappropriate, but it will certainly challenge the "inner boomer" in some people. If you can't tolerate equality and loving your neighbors of all kinds...some things in this store will hurt your tiny heart. I've never seen anything that shocked me, but I did answer a few questions about things to my young ones, I didn't think I planned to answer on a random Sunday. Kind of thing I regret? Not at all. Just kind of a warning for people with small kids in tow OR people who plan to downgrade this store just because they're surprised by lifestyle choices alternative to their own. A fun store that's been a staple in the Old Market for the last 4-5 years now. I've been to Rayguns in Iowa and they're just as fun and kitchy here in Nebraska. It's a huge store with a lot of stuff for your midwestern lover. The staff is super friendly, and the selection is vast. Some of the shirts are so clever and LOL inducing others I can see being slightly offensive as they aren't shy to go into politics. It's right on Jackson and there is ample street parking. read more

What a great store! Not the greatest in the universe like it proclaims but this place has tons of great shirts and novelties about the Midwest. They even had a candle in the scent of the city of Chicago. Great stuff on clearance too. The store is really clean, staff is really knowledgeable on their products. Everytime I am in Omaha I make it a point to stop here and stock up on cool shirts and other stuff. It's such a breath of fresh air.

Raygun is one of my favorite stores. I had not realized one opened in Omaha when I was visiting in June, so when I was in town at the same time as my brother and SIL who had never been, we had to go! All of us made purchases, though I primarily focused on buying Eric R. a "Bike Nebraska" shirt with little bicycles on the perimeter of the state shape. My brother got a shirt that read, "BEAT THE OTHER TEAM!" and my SIL got some kitchen towels with funny sayings. I always get a laugh here and the staff is very helpful. If they are out of a product or size, the staff will give you a coupon for free shipping so you can order online. read more
