When I reached out, the owner told me the "one punch per day" rule exists to stop people from passing cards around in line to get a free item. To treat a customer who just spent $70+ like they are trying to "scam" the business out of a single punch is insulting. He mentioned that they've had the same rules for 17 years, and it shows--they'd rather "win" a $4 loyalty punch than keep a high-value customer.
