I knew if she could make a cake that I normally despised, that I now loved, then I knew she had to be one of the BEST at her other goodies! Her carrot cake was not artificial sweet tasting, and did not have grainy bits of carrot in it, and it was not overly sweet either, it tasted more like a spice cake with all the natural flavor of carrot, smooth, dense, not a sweet icing, and heavenly made to perfection. Her "Coconut Dream Cake" is well named! The Coconut Cake icing is not sweet, and decorated with cream cheese, and nothing short of pure JOY to consume! For the holidays I love to prepare my own food layout for family and friends to eat. Unfortantely over the years I never enjoyed preparing deorated cookies for special occasions, but still wanted decorated cookies to complete my layout. Suzka's speciality decorated cookies made the Holiday occasions so much less stressful for me and at request she can specialize a cookie design, she'll let you know if she can or not, and she is spot on with all the cookie designs I've requested before! Always willing to try something new, my boyfriend and I were delighted at the sight of her "Spicy Chocolate" cookie sandwiches. Just our luck, she also had samples of them to try before committing! I'm not sure if it was cayenne, or maybe another Hispanic spice that helped bring out that "spice" flavor, but it was very balanced and it brought out the flavors from the chocolate even more. We also decided to try her guava cheesecake. The package came with four mini cheesecakes which were each topped with her homemade guava topping. These were good, but I wasn't as excited about them as I was about the cookie sandwiches. They were also very filling!
