I bought this tin of Cavendish and Harvey Sour Cherry Drops last week. And just like you when I got home I put the tin up and tossed the receipt. When I opened the tin yesterday I found the seal had been punctured. I pulled the seal and the Drops had all melted together as you can see in the pictures. My wife, ever concerned for my well-being, advised me to not eat the candy. So I returned to the store, ready for an exchange or refund. They REFUSED to do either. Oh they had their reasons, number 1 among them was I didn't have my receipt. The store manager could not reach the owner whom I offered to talk to, or I could come back some other time and maybe catch up with the owner. So I won't tell you not to shop there, times are difficult for everyone these days. But I will not shop there again and when I need a lemon drop for a long car ride I'll make do with a bag of them from Walmart or CVS. There just sugar and flavor after all. But I will suggest that you look closely at every purchase you might make from that store and don't toss your receipt until you do. Or maybe they'll treat you better than they treated me. Or maybe not. You won't know until it's too late, It's a crap shoot. No place to post the pictures, but it's ycuky

They have a pretty large shop, and it can get crowded depending on when you go in there. They usually have a lot of customers coming in and going. Their prices are a bit steep for my budget, but I'm not sure if that's because of the current state of the economy or if that's normal for them. I stopped by intending to purchase some chocolates for a friend who loves chocolate, but I just couldn't find anything in my budget. If you have the money, though, they are definitely a convenient one-stop shop for your chocolate needs! I can see the appeal and would encourage people to go in and browse. There might be something for you in there.

If you don't believe me, go try it. On my first visit, the sweet staffer put a paper towel on the counter and provided generous samples of each flavor that piqued my interest. I tried all the cheesy flavors: cheddar, white cheddar, mac and cheese, parmesan and garlic, etc. My work friend tried the green apple and caramel and has purchased multiple bags of the combo -- she swears it's amazing. Sweet blends are the most expensive, savory starts around $3 for a mini bag, and butter is cheaper (see the photo I posted of the menu board for full pricing). They produce the popcorn in their South Richmond location and bring it up during weekdays from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. for the downtown office workers. It's right in the middle of a bunch of lunch restaurants, so there's no reason not to stop in to grab an afternoon snack. [They opened about two months ago, so it's still quite new.] I'm sure I'll continue to return on lunch breaks. The white cheddar is my favorite, and if my waistline and wallet would agree, I'd eat that stuff daily. So glad to know this novel shop is around! Such a cool addition to the downtown area.

I haven't yet had the chance to attend one of their pop ups, but I'm an avid fan of their pastas and cannot wait to one day! Birdhouse Market on Tuesdays is my go-to for their pasta. You can also find them at the St. Stephen's farmers market. My favorite pasta they make is their sourdough tonnarelli. The creste de gallo is a must try. Other delicious and unique flavors I've enjoyed are the basil gnochetti and the porcini bucatini. I once got their white bolognese sauce and paired it with one of their pastas, it was divine. They have cute postcards with pasta sauce recipes, but you can also buy their incredible pasta sauces and pair it with the pasta you buy (which I highly recommend). If you need any help, the owner who runs the stand is incredibly sweet and can guide you in the right direction. Oro is incredible, if I could give them 100 stars I would.

I ordered to go, and service was great, very friendly staff and I love the restaurant the layout it's very unique. Unfortunately the food portion amount was a slight miss for me, I ordered the curry goat half portion meal with a side of Mac n cheese. The food itself was amazing, very flavorful and well seasoned. I just wish there was more of it to enjoy. I did order the half portion option but I didn't realize it was that small! The meals here are not as filling as other Caribbean restaurants in the area, and I paid extra for the Mac n cheese but only got a spoon size scoop! I was so surprised, it literally looked like a teaspoon portion, literally finished it in two bites, I almost went back and asked if that was normal?? I'm not completely turned off from coming back but maybe I'll try something else on the menu and order the full portions next time.

I opted for the shrimp curry, and you couldn't go wrong. I noticed some photos online that really made me want to try it. It definitely had a kick to it, but it was jampacked with the curry flavor.
