This is my 3rd time at this location and I'm the type of person that has a hard time choosing when there are so many options. Every single time, one of the people that work here are overly nice about helping me! The service is great and the food is always so fresh. Tried CAVA for the first time in Charlotte , NC last week so I was quite excited to find out there was one in Tampa when I got back . I Ordered the spicy lamb meatball bowl at both locations, the Charlotte location meatballs were fat & round and the qty was around 5-6 , the Tampa location meatballs were flat like pancakes and only gave 3. I was livid! When i mentioned the difference between both locations they gave 1 extra meatball. Pretty sad that FL patrons are being gypped. The cucumber lime drink also taste water down from the Charlotte location. Won't be going back to this location but I will try another action before giving up completely. On another note, the food is very tasty and the pita chips are delicious . Would still recommend you give it a try . read more

I love this place. The food is really good. I don't have any complaints about the taste, but I did have something happened to me today at this specific location. First, they forgot to put a bunch the veggies and toppings that I wanted on my to go order They gave me a pita bread that is moldy and I do think that they should definitely pay more attention to stuff like that disappointed in that aspect. read more

When I lived in Maryland there was a Cava in Bethesda and it was definitely something I missed in Tampa. I was so excited when I found out they were coming to South Tampa. I have been once and the line was long but so worth it. The food is unique and delicious. The staff is friendly and efficient. I got a falafel bowl; it was seasoned well and a nice texture. The sauces are tasty and there are a ton of add ons. The only issue is that parking is a mess, or at least it was on Friday evening. That's not the restaurant's fault, though. And even with the parking, I will be a frequent customer. read more

I have to gone to many Cavas and never had issues. Employees at the Howard location were extremely blunt, not showing any personality. The lamb is an extra charge which I ordered however they put a very small portion compared to their normal portions I have received in the past. I also found two hairs in my food which was not comforting. On top of all this I asked for a water cup which they normally have yet today they refused to give me one and only offered a purchase of a water bottle or a fountain drink. Had the atmosphere and food been better this would not have been an issue. Yet because of how everything worked together, I have decided to leave a review so that management or ownership can take charge. read more

Food is great, customer service is bare minimum. Some may like the abrasiveness while checking out but I do not. You have to clean off your own table before you sit and eat. All tables were dirty. There also isn't any designated parking. You either get towed or have to pay around back. read more

I have been going to Cava for years in Northern Virginia and today the woman gave me a tablespoon of rice, if that, so when I asked for more she told me it would be an extra charge? I had a break at school and was craving Mediterranean food. I decided to try out Cava because I had heard great things from teammates and friends. I placed an online order, drover over to pick it up and went back to my class. When I went to eat, I opened the bag and received the completely wrong order. I called the store and talked to a friendly team member who passed the phone over to Ron, the manager. He gave me a full refund and offered to remake the bowl for me, I went back only because I was starving and they remade my bowl, gave me a free drink and a card for a bowl on them next time I order. Let me tell you, that was the best bowl ever! I will be back and probably spend all my money here. Thank you Ron for such a great experience! read more

So fire!! It is such a colorful bowl too:) It is set up almost like chipotle lines but there are so many different options. I did not know what I wanted so I got the Harissa avocado bowl. The food was OK. I got the spicy chicken bowl and then added falafel to it. The falafel is actually the best part of it. It's not conventional falafel but it's pretty tasty. Absolutely awful customer service. Second time this week they have left things out of my bowl and made incorrectly. They started making my to-go order after I had given my name and refrained from telling me they were out of items. Substitutions for bases were made without acknowledgment. I drove home and all the way back for it to be corrected (no phone lines active) and absolutely nothing was done to correct the issue. This was my first time at CAVA. Really loved it and the food was delicious, flavorful, and tasty. But the only reason why I did not give it a 5 star rating was because the main guy at this location was very rude, inconsiderate and intimidating. It was really crowded at lunch time but this is not a reason to be rude to customers and show off your attitude. There will be many people like me who are first timers and we don't know what to order and it would be easier if they are friendly and patient. Loved the food but hate the service. I wish I had known his name so I could have written it here, please make sure to have your name tags. Wish CAVA can open up more locations on the west coast. read more
