Finally, the wait is over. I have been wanting to try this place for such a long time and got the chance to do so yesterday. I was starving and asked my son to bring some food home. He was at the Marshall's next door and it worked out perfectly. He walked in around 5pm and was helped by Jennifer and Michelle. He said they were both fast, efficient, and friendly. The place was clean and had a line of 5 people, but they were all to-go orders so there were plenty of open tables. There's also a patio outside if you choose to dine there. Didn't use the bathroom. I ordered the Steak + Feta Pita which came with grilled steak, Crazy Feta, red pepper hummus, pickled onions, feta, pickles, romaine, garlic dressing, and Greek vinaigrette. I substituted regular cucumbers for the pickles. The sandwich was pretty heavy and a bit overwhelming to me. I also feel like the steak wasn't cooked too well. I also ordered the Chicken and Rice bowl, which came with grilled chicken, hummus, tzatziki, pickled onions, tomato + onion, cucumber, feta, arugula, brown rice, and Greek vinaigrette. I also added some corn and Kalamata olives on top. The bowl was very delicious and I thoroughly enjoyed it, way more than the pita wrap. It really hit the spot and was very filling. Appropriate portion for the price. All the ingredients were very fresh and good quality. My son got the same bowl as me and he had the same feelings about it as well. I'm definitely going to give this place another try in person next time.

Daughter was craving CAVA, thank God there was one on the way home. They're like a Mediterranean version of Chipotle - you pick what you want as your base, then protein (they have Lamb, fyi), sauces, and all the different toppings (unlimited). Healthy, fresh, and soooo good. Prices are decent for what you get and great portions! Staff super friendly- 8 out of 10 for me!

Cava has been one of my favorite occasional treats for a few years now. Since we don't name one close to us, I usually go when I'm in the same area as one. This cava experience made me second guess if I really like the restaurant. Everything went as to be expected, but my bowl just wasn't good. I got a bowl with mixed greens and chicken. The mixed greens were so hard and chunky. It was as though it wasn't chipped up enough. The chicken was grisly and fatty. Half of the pieces had to be taken out. My husband was content with his steak bowl however. Oh and the pita chips were solid. They weren't freshly made like I've had in the past. But they weren't stale either. This is a busy shopping center with plenty of food options. I could see parking getting busy. But there is additional parking behind the back.

Me and my co worker decided to order lunch from here; I agreed because of how tasty the menu appeared and their promo on "healthy" We opted to pick up the order due to cost effective reasons and we weren't too far from this location. Arrived by 12:15pm, went inside and noticed it was kept clean, it was not loud or crowded and our order was ready. They also have 10 minute parking spots for pick up only so we were lucky to find a parking spot, however, the parking lot can get a tad bit busy during peek hours. I ordered the steak with rice (chicken with rice) decided to change the protein, greens and rice but kept everything else the same: basmati rice, tzatziki, hummus, feta, pickled onion, tomato, arugula, Greek vinaigrette, and more. I also order the half pita bread. The bowl was satisfying, I felt satiated and not stuffed or drowsy. Super healthy, fresh ingredients and packed with lots of flavor. I was impressed and I give this bowl a 5/5. Would definitely be back if I'm around the area or I'm looking for a light, fresh meal. Thanks again!

First time visiting this cava location. I went on a weekend afternoon. The wait was minimal and reasonable. The ingredients felt fresh and the staff was super helpful with building my bowl. The restroom was decently clean. Napkins and utensils are available. I'll be back again!

The bowls are large, but they aren't filled anywhere near halfway, which already feels like poor value. On top of that, being charged extra for something as basic as rice is frustrating. If I'm paying more for a base item, the least I'd expect is for the food to be hot but everything was lukewarm at best. The heat lamps clearly aren't doing their job. It's also surprising that dips like hummus come at an additional cost, especially when there are plenty of unlimited toppings like vegetables. It would make more sense if something like hummus could be substituted in place of another topping rather than treated as a full add on. To make matters worse, the staff's attitude didn't help the experience. They also ask if you want your complimentary piece of pita...of course I do. It's the only thing I get for free. Maybe allow an extra dip in place of the pita if people decline it. That's a thought. Overall, between the portion sizes, extra charges, and lack of warmth in both the food and the service, it didn't feel like a great value.

I found out that a very good friend of mine was having a complete mental breakdown with SI, and when I realized it was clear he hadn't eaten in days, I ran down the hill in search of hearty sandwiches. I ordered 3 sandwiches, chips, and some drinks. The total with tip was about $85, which felt EXHAUSTING to me (I thought it would be about $50, but I get it, inflation), and at this point I was hungry too. Unfortunately, my friend ended up following me into the restaurant and berating and abusing me (verbally) in there for about 2 hours. He also mentioned that he wouldn't be reimbursing me for the sandwiches because I insisted that he eat them (he only ate one, turkey, in a few absolutely disgusting giant bites). Cool cool cool (I didn't ask him for any money, and hadn't intended to). So that sets the stage. And to be fair, the sandwiches were pretty good, with the Roast Beef on a Pretzel Roll ($16) being the CLEAR WINNER for taste. The biggest issue for me? These sandwiches were way too expensive for the size of them. I needed two whole sandwiches to be full (and my appetite leans feminine, though tall). If I'd been full from one sammy, I think I would have given it all 5 stars, regardless of the unpleasant circumstances. But I ate two (I also had the pastrami on rye - I added cheese and it needed thousand island, but was otherwise yummy), plus a bag of chips and a coconut water, and it still didn't stuff me up enough to forget what I was doing there. Please put more meat and cheese on your sandwiches! Some of us are trying to save lives out here! FYI - My friend is no longer speaking with me, and has threatened to ruin my life with all of the "information [he] has on me (Like what? Do tell)," but please note that he is being cared for (and when he is well again, I will forgive him, but he will definitely be buying ALL of the sandwiches going forward).

In addition to their expertly-crafted pastries, Sweet Lily offers a great variety of French dishes and packaged food items. My group ordered the Sugar Beignet, Raspberry Croissant, and Coffee Croissant - which were all wonderful. The Raspberry Croissant had a not-too-sour fresh jelly filling and was definitely the crowd favorite, but the thick, latte-flavored filling in the Coffee Croissant made it a close second place. The fresh-squeezed orange juice at $5 felt like an absolute bargain, and the Cappuccino was also well-executed. The real stars of the show were the entrees, though. Both the Avocado Toast plate and Croque Monsieur truly tasted like a trip to France. They were hearty and full of flavor, without feeling too heavy. The Sweet Lily twist on Avocado Toast includes melted mozzarella and slices grapes, which really elevated the dish! The potatoes and salads that came as complimentary sides were a welcome surprise, and just as craveable as the entrees themselves. I truly don't think there's a bad thing to order here, and I look forward to returning to this bright and welcoming spot to try more!

Near Barham and on the way to Hollywood. They have a few metered parking spots out front, but I went in and asked if they had their own parking and Mehdi told me they had a couple of spots in the alley behind the building, so that's where we parked. It's a cute place, not too fancy. They refer to it as a Boutique Pastry Shop. There are some snacks/knick knacks available for purchase, along with a refrigerator of drinks towards the back. The left side of the space is the coffee bar and the right side has the pastry cases and food menus. This is where we placed our order with Mehdi, who was pleasant, nice and knowledgeable about the menu and all the pastry items. I was talking to another employee, Gabriel, and asking him questions about the omelettes. He talked me through a few different options and he was also pleasant and kind. I decided on the Veggie Omelette (add mozzarella +$2, and side baguette +$1) with a Decaf Latte (+$0.75 for Oat Milk). My son ordered the Chicken Caprese Panini, which came with Pesto and Mozzarella Cheese. ($17). We also wanted to sample some pastries and we got 1 Nutella Beignet ($5.50), 1 Caribbean & 1 Red Carpet ($8 each), 1 Pear/Almond Tart and 1 Raspberry Tart ($6.50 each). Our total for everything including tip was $91.59, and I'm still kind of in shock over it! This place was SO EXPENSIVE!! Mehdi plated our pastries for us and Gabriel immediately got to work on the omelette and panini. We sat down at one of their many tables and got situated while we waited for the food. It was pretty empty as we were there around 3pm, an hour before they closed. There were two other tables being occupied while we were there. They had nice pop music playing, ranging from 90s-00s songs and artists. There were some nice twinkly lights above us along with the regular lighting of the restaurant. The space was also very clean, but I noticed some wear and tear on the tables/chairs. Once Mehdi brought our food out, we got to eating. My omelette also came with a small side salad with balsamic vinaigrette and some potatoes. I think everything tasted good, especially the omelette, but the potatoes were a bit too greasy for my taste. I also think the portion size was too small for the price. This statement goes for everything we ordered. It was all extremely overpriced for the portions they're offering. My son said his panini was just mediocre and bland. He opened it and added a bunch of salt to it. It was also very skimpy on the chicken, about 4-5 tiny slices inside. Moving onto the pastries, the Pear/Almond was my favorite. It wasn't overly sweet (actually, none of the pastries were), which is what I prefer. It was very delicate and tasty. I also had a bite of the Caribbean which was delicious. They went well with my latte, which tasted very good. I will be trying the rest later. My son had a bite of everything and liked the Caribbean and the Nutella Beignet, saying the rest were just average. I didn't use the restroom but my son did and said it was spotless clean, stocked with toilet paper, paper towels, soap, and room spray. The trash was empty, floors and counters were clean. They have one men's and one women's restroom and it's spacious. They began closing down the place about 5 minutes after we finished our bites and nibbling. Overall, it wasn't a bad experience by any means, but I don't think I'll be rushing here anytime soon to try it again. It was just outrageously expensive for what it was. I understand the cost of ingredients, labor, etc it takes to produce pastries and viennoiserie, but I just don't think the quality matched the prices. Just my opinion. I would say the service was great, both Gabriel and Mehdi are great employees! I may or may not come back. We'll see.
