This might be my favorite new lunch spot. When it first opened there was lines and it seemed really hyped up.... I get it now. My plate was beautiful and tasted delicious. Cava is like a Mediterranean chipotle. You walk down a line and you can pick their specially curated plates/bowls or you can build your own bowl. You pick your base (rice, lettuce or wrap and then you pick your protein, finally you pick the toppings. I got the Greek salad. It was absolutely perfect and packed with fresh flavors. It comes with Grilled chicken, tzatziki, hummus, feta, tomato + onion, cucumber, olives, romaine, arugula and Greek vinaigrette. I added picked onions too because they looked so good. Everything was fresh and tasted delicious. For my drink I got their Blueberry Lavender which is one of a few different fresh beverages they offer. They also have sweet tea, strawberry ginger, cucumber mint lime and classic lemonade . They also have main root soda. The ambiance here is very neutral with soft lighting. I think it's really simple and relaxing and makes me feel like I'm in Greece. The pricing was also very fairy for the portion and quality. Overall it was a excellent experience and I'm already excited to come back and try more. read more

We visit at least once a week. The service and food is inconsistent. Sometimes the pita chips are perfectly seasoned and warm; other times, they're cold, unseasoned, or covered in salt. On our latest visit, we only received 5 chips instead of the usual 6 chips, and it was actually a good batch! Ari started off the line. I like her. She's hard to read based on her facial expressions, but she's doing a good job. The serving sizes she gave were perfection. Sometimes, the workers are barely included a full scoop of meat. Not her. I felt like I got my money's worth. Sadly though, the honey harissa chicken was overly charred. Entire pieces were burnt. When it's cooked well, it's so good! Crazy feta is also delicious and adds a lot of flavor to the food. A young man in charge of the toppings also did a great job with them, but he's the one who shorted us a chip... Mikayla took care of us at the register. She's probably the most friendly and welcoming. I noticed John wasn't there (knowing names is a sign of a frequent customer!), so the mood was lighter and less stressful. read more

Summary: 4.5 Food; 4.0 Service; 3.5 Ambiance; 1.5 Wait Time My wife and I were traveling home on I-95, needing a place to stop for lunch, and found Cava, via the Yelp app. Conveniently located close to the highway, we walked in the restaurant around 1 pm on a Sunday. The ordering line was long and the tables were full. We probably inched forward for about 20-25 minutes until we could order. That was the most challenging part. The long wait was rewarded by the fresh and tasty ingredients I chose for my "build your own bowl". The greens were crisp and the seasoned chicken arrived hot off the grill. I enjoy adding most of the unlimited free toppings and keeping the sauce separate. Although a free pita chip is included, I chose not to today. Seating inside is limited at this location although they do have a dedicated outdoor section with several tables, chairs, and sun umbrellas. Unfortunately, it was too hot and humid for us. My wife was able to secure a table for us to enjoy our BYO bowls. Other: The Cava staff remained busy during our entire stay and retained a helpful attitude, I observed, despite the non-stop business. I've been excited to try out this Cava after really enjoying the food at other locations. We went on a Thursday evening and it was pretty busy. The line was slowly moving. The staff were kinda just there to get the job done. They were not friendly nor rude. However, the food was delicious! They gave a nice portion size and everything tasted fresh. I would return for the food but would probably try ordering ahead to hopefully expedite the process. read more

I enjoyed my make your own salad, I have eaten there 3 times now. The first time was closer to grand opening and the wait was long even for our pick up order. The pick up area is easy to get to, with plenty of room. Second time wasn't bad as we went right in when it opened and so there was no wait as with the third time. We prefer to go when it opens because there wasn't a line both times we did it that way. The line can be long though, like the first time we went the line was about out the door. Happy to have a place with healthier options and a great variety of things to put in your bowl. Price is fair for what you get. Will return again. I've been here five times since opening and our family loves it. Definitely recommend avoiding meal hours because it's still brand new and it's really busy. But cava is a great addition to the area and it's so good. Pita chips are crispy and seasoned really good. We do custom bowls, with the chicken. My husband says the honey chicken is more spicy (mild) than sweet. They do a really good job accommodating and they're extremely busy. But the food its 10/10. So far we've only done togos. Be sure to check your order before heading out. And they'll gladly grab anything you need. Make sure you join the rewards program they offer too! read more

Workers were very low energy. Lentils were a bit stiff, Ice machine was not operating. Mexican cola from machine was flat. Nobody was wiping down tables, front door was nasty with fingerprints all over. Rest of food was "Ok" but rice and protein seemed "luke warm." read more

First I have been to Cava and it will be the last time. It started off as a negative experience because the first person to start preparing my order was incredibly rude and offensive. I almost walk out of the line at that point but didn't. Based on the quality of my braised lamb wrap I should have. Only one person on the serving line was pleasant. The wrap itself was nothing remarkable. The meat and toppings were sparse and lacked the flavors I am used to Mediterranean cuisine. The lamb was so saturated in a watery bath that was transferred to the pita bread the sandwhich was too soggy for me to eat it. I had to discard it. To end my experience the cashier rang my order up wrong. Food is a 1, service is a zero. read more

Just to preface: every single time i've gone through the line I have no issues. I've ordered Cava several times through pickup order recently and each time it has been messed up. Last time I assumed it was new, and reached out to customer service and they were super helpful. This time, I placed an order, and both orders were completely messed up. We ordered a grains and green bowl, and they didn't include any of the greens that we ordered, just gave us half the amount of the rice. The toppings were swapped out on both of our bowls, where the protein was correct, but sauces were added on top when we didn't even order them. There were toppings on the bowls that we didn't even order/don't eat. The employees were super nice and you could tell it was busy/overwhelmed, but there's definitely some change that needs to be done with the process for pickup orders. read more

Great food, great staff tonight. Was a little rough a month ago but really got it together now. Nearly no wait!

Take out order was done about 10 min to 3p and the app said the food would be ready by 3:23p. Then I was updated that they had started working on it and it would be ready by 3:08. I hurried up to get there. I arrived and there are no orders by 3:08p. At 3:15 I ask a worker. I get a text while standing there that my order was delayed to 3:23. He goes in and I see him ask the man working take out. He looks at me and smirks. He checked orders and made 2 take out orders and then I saw him take a bag with the slip and start making an order and he put an empty cup. It looked like my order. Then I ask again because he is wiping counters and walking around. The young man checks and then hands me a cup and apologized for my wait. The two orders were picked up and he started making another order and put it in the window. At 3:28 he takes the bag that has been sitting there and puts it in the window , my order! Shame people like this exist. I already complained once at the store and on the survey. I am leaving this review here because people should know what they might experience. My food looked like it had been shaken like a maracas! He was a large man wearing a blue bandanna and older probably late forties or early fifties. I hope he sees this. The manager in the blue bandana is a complete DB. I pointed over the glass to a topping due to the guy making my PITA could not hear. Anyways he could have been polite and tell me. Instead, he embarrassed me in front of everyone in the store with his condescending tone. You should never humiliate and talk down to a guest like a 2 year. F him and Cava. This was my third time at this location. This first time it was great and should have been expected during the grand opening. The second time the place was busy and restaurant was looked dirty. Being busy shouldn't be an excuse to have a dirty dining room. I waited 30 minutes or so just to get to the first person to serve you and they said it was going to be 15 minutes for rice. I said no thank you and left. Today we gave it another try. It was around 5pm on a Saturday and not terribly busy. The first thing I noticed was that every table was dirty, trash overflowing and napkins under many tables. There were only two or three tables that had people sitting inside. Also, none of the workers looked happy. After the 5-6 people ahead of me got past the first person serving us, I was not greeted by John and seemed he was having a bad day. Not sure if he was the manager but the restaurant appearance and staff reflected that same attitude. That being said, I liked my pricy bowl and it was very tasty. Second time visiting this Cava location and unfortunately the experience was completely different from my first visit. The food was still great, but the customer service was disappointing. Employees seemed annoyed that customers were there, one employee rolled her eyes at me, and two other employees were openly laughing about them seeing love bugs in the food earlier like it was no big deal. When I asked for a bag with my bowl, I was told they "don't give bags to people who come alone with one bowl," which just felt unnecessary and rude. Overall, the staff could really use better customer service and professionalism training. It'll be a while before I return. read more
