One word: OBSESSED! I absolutely love CAVA bowls (and especially love this location!). They're perfect for when I'm on my way home from work and craving a bowl with a little bit of everything. My photo of the bowl I typically get doesn't even do it justice because they pack so much food into every bowl! I always get the build-your-own bowl with saffron basmati rice, tzatziki, harissa, Crazy Feta (this is a MUST-TRY), grilled steak (+$3.75), corn, pickled onions, tomato + onion, sumac cabbage slaw and pita crisps. I always get my sauces on the side, and my favorites to add are the garlic dressing and skhug! CAVA is great because the food is always fresh and well-stocked, especially during peak lunch and dinner hours. Their portions are so generous, and the staff is always great about listening when you want extra of a specific ingredient. They're also attentive about keeping the dining area clean and ready for customers. I used to be a Chipotle stan, but ever since I tried CAVA, I can't go back. Cava is a Chipotle style restaurant in the Woodbury Town Center, but the emphasis is on Mediterranean Cuisine. I loved the flavors and choices. You stand in line and order what you want. They offer brown and white rice as a base. The proteins are steak, chicken, and tofu. Everything is fresh and flavorful. I loved the fact you get hummis and sauces. Everything is excellent. The only issue was they charge $3.50 for steak, not posted, and $4.00 for grilled veggies. You have to ask if something costs more, and here, it does. Overall, a great place for lunch. read more

I tried Cava for the first time today and had a good experience overall. I visited the location in the Woodbury Town Center. Food: I ordered the bowl with steak. The hummus,rice, and steak all tasted fresh and delicious. I would have liked it more if we were notified that steak was an upcharge. Service: The employees here are very friendly and helpful. Food is really good here! I finally got to try the restaurant, which I have heard great things about. I like the counter/quick serve style with the patio and inside seating options. I actually visited two days in a row because I enjoyed it so much! The first time I ordered a bowl and shared with my guy, the second time I got my own kid's meal and that was plenty of food. The bowl is pretty good size, I def couldn't finish one myself. The hummus is so good and the sauces/dips are delicious. They do limit you to a few of each when you get the bowl, and then you get minimal options with the kid's meal. I tried the chicken and it had a very good flavor that went well with the rice and veggies. Unlimited toppings are offered, which is great because I love the corn, grilled veggies and cucumber/tomato options. The fountain drink and tea/juice options are great - definitely higher level than most fast food places. Prices are fair for what you get. read more

A good spot for a quick meal that's better if you order in person. There a decent amount of parking nearby in the plaza. They have both indoor and outdoor seating available. I usually take the food to go and the few times that I have dined in, I found it difficult to find a table that was clean. You order cafeteria style and pay at the end of the line. I order food from here frequently because of the convenience. I enjoy being able to customize the meals so that they fit everyone's dietary needs. Every time I go in person, my order is correct, but every time that I've tried ordering online, my order has been way off with lots of ingredients either missing or in the wrong person's bowl. They use good quality ingredients and the portions are generous. The size of your bowl may vary depending on what you order/add into it. Some of the workers have been trying to offer freebies in exchange for 5 star reviews mentioning their names which was very off-putting. I love Cava but it can be a little hit or miss at times. This location seems better than the one on Barranca, where I will always have to wait at least 10-20 minutes longer than the pick up time. If you can, avoid online ordering during the lunch rush because they do get backed up on orders and you'll watch people get in line get their food before yours is ready. You may want to double check your order before leaving because I've had a protein choice missing. Overall, Cava is a pretty good value, especially when the bowl seems filled to the brim, and relatively healthy. read more

The app was not working at the time but I needed the food from here for a digestive system matter so I figured I could go to order verbally. I told the person I had a dietary restriction and he pointed out the sauces that did not have the ingredient specified, so I selected one of those that were recommended. However, despite this, when I started eating it, I discovered that the ingredient still existed in my bowl (due to misunderstanding or cross contamination) and I ended up picking out a pile of dietary restriction contaminated ingredients that I had to feed to another party member that didn't have this dietary restriction. They suggested I complain, but given the fact that I'm nearly mute these days from agoraphobia, this was not an action I could take. An ingredient list of "spices" in view of the menu would keep this from inconveniencing me. Either way, I am sticking to online ordering in case this the recommendation was due to miscommunication of the ingredient I can't eat. read more

Say HELLO to the new chipotle! They give you one lil scoop of chicken- makes the bowl look like a kids bowl. I remember when I wouldn't be able to shake the bowl with the lid on. But you don't have to worry about that anymore. They serve crunchy hard brown rice here! We heard a customer complain about it, and the staff remade their bowl. But it didn't occur to them to check on the other customers who ordered the same hard brown rice in line. So we got to experience that too. Will NEVER come back to this location!
