Chicken + Rice Bowl, Cucumber Mint Limeade, & Side Crazy Feta® with Pita
    Hannah F.

Stopped here for Sunday lunch with my sister before doing some shopping at the Castle Rock Outlets. It was fairly busy on a Sunday afternoon but the line moved quickly. I had the Chicken & Rice bowl which was delicious. The portion was a great size and all of the ingredients were fresh and full of flavor. I opted to try the side of Crazy Feta Dip with a pita and it was so yummy but had a surprising kick of heat at the end. The Cucumber Limeade drink was amazing! This is a great spot for fresh Mediterranean theme food. I hope to be back soon!

I do not think this location can be saved... third time giving this location a try. On the way home from a road trip and stopped by 45 minutes before closing. Staff was all cleaning and talking. My partner went in first since we had our dog in the car and it took awhile to even get the order started..... ordered half salad and half brown rice (arrived home and found that it was dried and hard....), crazy feta scoop, lamb was over cooked to mush and dry, quite a few of the toppings were out, skug, and garlic sauce. They REALLY skimp out on the rice and lettuce. I ordered half salad and half saffron rice (VERY small portion as well), tzatziki scoop, 1 scoop each or chicken and steak, again quite a few of the toppings were not available, no garlic sauce available and opted for yogurt dill and skhug. Hard pass on this location from now on.....

Old black & brown avocado in my rice bowl....Thanks 4 the low quality ingredients!!!

I was genuinely excited to finally try this place, especially after seeing several locations pop up around Colorado. I ordered the lamb meatball rice bowl with power greens from the Castle Rock location. Unfortunately, my experience was disappointing. Most of the rice in the bowl was undercooked and crunchy, making it unpleasant to eat. The avocado had a strange texture -- overly soft and almost smooth -- and the flavor was off. After digging through the bowl, I found the rest of the avocado buried beneath the onions, and it was clear that it was past its prime and starting to rot. I ended up throwing the rest of the bowl away, as I didn't feel comfortable continuing to eat it. I tried calling the Castle Rock store immediately to let them know about the quality of the ingredients -- especially the avocado -- but no one answered the phone. Later that evening, I began experiencing significant stomach pain, which continued into the night and the following morning. I've spent most of the time since in the bathroom, which raises serious concerns about the freshness and safety of the food I was served. What's been even more frustrating is the lack of response. I've attempted to reach out multiple times and still haven't heard back from anyone at the store. I hope this feedback is taken seriously. I wanted to give this place a fair shot, but based on this experience, I'm not sure I can recommend it to others until the quality and communication improve.

For what it is, I think it's a little overpriced. Also, the staff were very disorganized and confused everyone in line by mixing up their bowls. Hate to say it, but Chipotle is better!

This cava located across from the outlet mall in castle rock was a nice place to grab a healthy bite to eat. I ordered the steak bowl and it was quite massive since I decided to add lots of toppings and extras to the bowl. No complaints on the taste, but comparing the price to chipotle or other competitors, I think I'd rather spend $10 for a chipotle bowl than $18 for a cava bowl which are both pretty good.

Chef Ken & Mykah were amazing! The food was delicious and affordable for the amount you get. You can choose from steak, lamb, and chicken. You can choose between a wrap or a bowl. I got the build your own bowl I added greens, rice, and lentils. My protein choices included half lamb and half spicy chicken. You also get to choose other toppings including corn, feta, cucumbers, and so much more. They also have a vegan option which would be falafel. Overall amazing food and service, highly recommend them.

Functional, forgettable, no charm to speak of. I ordered carryout: a gyro sandwich with dolmas, plus the baba ghanoush. The gyro was perfectly decent. Good portion, but drowned in sauce, with the usual tomato and onion. But that is also the problem. It was utterly standard. Nothing about it rose above basic strip-mall takeout. The baba ghanoush was even less convincing. It was too mild, short on the smoky depth that should define it, and had a thinner, overly processed consistency. The garlic sauce was similarly underwhelming, lacking the sharp garlicky hit that might have given the meal some personality. The dolmas were so forgettable I nearly forgot to mention them. Tough grape leaves, bland mushy rice inside, and basically wasted carbs. Maybe I'm the contrarian, because this place clearly has its fans. I'm just not one of them. That is really the story here. Everything is serviceable. Nothing is notably good, nothing is notably bad, and nothing gives you a reason to come back unless you happen to be nearby and want something easy. If you live in the suburbs and need a quick gyro fix, fine. But this is not a place worth seeking out

The fries were a little salty for me, but the gyro was so good I definitely want to stop by again and try more of the menu items. I was handed a menu and gave a few mins to look it over. I asked if they had Gyro sandwiches. The lady assured me they did, and then I inquired about the Greek salads. I asked if one was big enough to share with my husband. I was told they were pretty small and should get one for each of us. I placed my order of two gyro sandwich's, two Greek salads and one baklava to go. I paid and had a seat. I waited about 18 mins for my food. I was starting to get concerned because after all I was the only one in there, and I just ordered two sandwiches and two salads. Finally....it came out, she quickly bagged it and I took it and left (my fault). I normally check the food before leaving. I get out to my car and something is telling me I should check my order....two very large Greek salads, and each one could have fed 4 people. And then I opened the container expecting to see a sandwhich in each. Nope it was just a pile of meat. No pita, no lettuce, no tomatoes, no tzatziki sauce. I went back in....asked if I got someone else's order they said no. And I explained my confusion with what I got. They quickly took the meat and made them in to sandwiches and renter Ed them to me. I didn't get any money back or anything else said to me. Just sent me on way. Now on to the actually meal. The salad was just okay. They had black olives and not calamari olives on the salad and it just wasn't the best. The gyros were decent - but making meat. I don't think they put all the meat on the sandwhich that was in that container. If I needed to pay more, I would have. Bill was around $48 when it was said and done + a 8 tip I had already given them. Unfortunately I don't think I will be back.
